    OoC: Hey Sandy, don't mean to be difficult, but shouldn't my Electriphant have won? The rules say that Electric trumps acquatic. But maybe I'm reading them wrong?

    Absolutely gorgeous! It has a real nice feel to it. Love the strips on the wall - they bring some energy to the space, but are not in the least distracting.

    "Don't worry about it, dude. I'm sure one of us will win!" Bobby plays his Ursa Minor, and follows it up with his Moon Elemental.

    "Well, the chap I personally would currently consider the weakest link in my army betrayed me and froze me in time and stole everything from me, so over all I'm not so much a supporter of him, but..." Boomingham shrugs, "seems to me the strongest link ought to carry the weakest. Though I wasn't able to do it that time..."

    "It would, it would! Cheat all you like, I'll still beat you and only feel all the better for it." He looks over at Em. "Sorry Em, but apparently I've accomplished more than this chap believed any human could, which I suppose just makes me just about the best human, huh?"

    Boomingham glances around frantically. "What? Where'd those swords come from? Could swear I'd just shattered them, chappo." He wags his finger at The Regret. "No more cheating. I'll let this one time slide, ol' boy, but only because you're so damn charming and I love a good bit of sword play." Boomingham attacks the Right Saber from the back row with Scupperer.

    What if instead of cards, the characters used weapons to fight each other? And instead of certain weapons trumping other weapons we had a third party roll a die to see if the character succeeds or fails? I dunno, just an idea.

I like adventuring and all that, but books - yo, all I'm saying is you can't learn everything about the whole world just by chilling and going out, there's stuff like the past and places that ain't so easy to get to." Bobby plays Unicorn and then his Electriphant.

    Bobby walks back towards his seat, still in a bit of a daze. He spots Benji. "Hey-o, boss man, how's it hanging? You back already dog? I ain't even been out of the hall since you left!"

    Bobby looks around with a dreamy look in his eyes. He watches as all the heroes make goo-goo eyes at each other, his own eyes a little misty. "This is trippy, man," he declares to no one in particular before wandering over to the quest board and signing up for Quest #121.

    In fairness, these are very different from the adolescent sort of flings from the beginning of Heroica - these both have been gestating for years, and are certainly won. Just wait until Boomingham gets home. He'll woo the pants off of everyone.

    Oh I wasn't accusing, I just thought it was a good Benji moment since we lost track of my Marksman Monocle.

    Yeah I guess I never added it back to my inventory. I like the narrative of Benji swiping it and pawning it, though.

    Bobby waves to his opponent. "Yo man, nice to meet you! Good luck, I hope you do excellent in the tournament, yo!" He plays his Creeping Hand (Darkness Level 2).

    Doesn't really matter what the reasoning is behind it (though that's a fantastic one ) as soon as one hero starts publicly proclaiming his opinion, I imagine most other heroes will either decide they will permanently dislike the Wolfgang, or start to consider if maybe they might want to take a look at what they actually stand for.
