  1. Vote Tally: Siegmund Freiburg/smittyfan: 1 (Dan the Brickman) Dreo Jacmel/dr jones: 6 (KielDaMan, CommanderFox, KartoffelViking, Baylego, Pandora, Cutlass Iz) Keith Worthing/KartoffelViking: 1 (smittyfan) You still have some time to vote. It takes 7 votes to convict a person.
  2. Vote Tally: Siegmund Freiburg/smittyfan: 1 (Cutlass Iz) Dreo Jacmel/dr jones: 4 (KielDaMan, CommanderFox, KartoffelViking, Baylego) Keith Worthing/KartoffelViking: 1 (smittyfan) You have a little less than 24 hours to reach a conviction.
  3. But you are doing fantastic, all of you! The game is running very smoothly, and I've seen some clever tactics being used to both expose the scum and remain hidden from the townies. Keep it up, and the uncertainty will surely fade.
  4. Vote Tally: Siegmund Freiburg/smittyfan: 1 (Cutlass Iz) Dreo Jacmel/dr jones: 2 (KielDaMan, CommanderFox) Keith Worthing/KartoffelViking: 1 (smittyfan) Colette LeMans/KielDaMan: 1 (dr jones) You still have about 35 hours to vote.
  5. I thought I've told you guys everything there is to know about the mechanics by now. If you want more tutorials, then by all means say so. But aside from pointing out who to vote for and who has what night actions, I don't know what else I can say or do anymore. This is the game in it's simplest form, so there's no surprise mechanics coming up later that you need to take into account. Maybe the future Mafia School games need a few more roles in them to make them more random...
  6. The remaining staff and guests of Paradisa Holiday Romance Resort gathered at the beach at noon to wait for Mr. Crusoe to open another round of voting. When the owner arrived, he looked worse to wear than ever before. It was obvious he was sleep-deprived and on the brink of insanity, but the others did not dare to say anything. They knew he had done something awful to the chef and the maid, and all of them wished they would not be chosen next. Alas, it was time to vote, and if the innocent ones wanted any chance of survival, they would convict someone to Mr. Crusoe's hands. ~*~*~*~*~*~ Voting starts now and lasts a maximum of 48 hours, or until a conviction has been reached. It takes 7 votes to convict a person.
  7. Trust me, you will not run out of time. If this game is still going on Day 14, I'll give up on it myself. It depends on how smoothly this game goes, since this is the first try at the concept in this forum. But so far it looks like it's beneficial for people to play in a simple game such as this first before tackling into the more complex ones.
  8. Please don't tell me you're asking that seriously on Day Three of the game. Have I really been that bad at teaching this game...? And Rick is correct, you must not talk about what side you are on outside the Day topics. This is one of the rules. You know, the ones I've told you to read multiple times? I'm sorry, but you are very close to being removed from the game for constantly breaking the rules, Gregorovich. You must understand that the rules are there so that everyone could have fun and the game could be as fair as possible.
  9. And the Day Three topic is up! I want to thank both Raven Brickroft and Captain Tamamono for playing, you both have passed the Mafia School (unless you do something really stupid before the game is over, like try to affect the game etc.). Both of you fought valiantly for the town, but unfortunately it was not enough to escape the elusive Mafia goons.
  10. The frail-looking maid Raquel had lasted longer than Mr. Crusoe had expected. After she had finally passed away, the owner of Isla Paradisa went for a walk on the beach to empty his mind of the horrors of the night. Upon gazing at the aquamarine ocean, Mr. Crusoe remembered the countless times he had lied on the soft sand with Sunday, speaking of their dreams and making love. Suddenly he noticed that he was not alone. Claudia Toscana, the lifeguard he had hired from an Italian beach years ago, was seated on her chair. Mr. Crusoe took a few steps before he noticed Claudia's signature sunglasses smashed in a pool of blood. The lifeguard was long dead. During the night, the seagulls had pecked away her entire face so that the bare skull shone under the dyed red hair. Mr. Crusoe gathered everybody to the beach. The reality struck the remaining residents of the island hard: the threat letter had been real. They really were going to die one by one unless they caught the Mafia goons hiding among them in time. Mr. Crusoe told them that he was confident that the maid Raquel Benito Juarez had been a member of the Town as well, and of course Claudia had been too, or else she wouldn't lie there on their feet in such a state. It was now time to leave doubt behind and take the matter seriously if anybody wanted to leave the island alive. The next time the ferry would arrive was in one and a half weeks, so there was ample time for the Mafia goons to kill each and every one of them before that. Mr. Crusoe told he would again return to them at noon to start the voting. ~*~*~*~*~*~ The Rules: 1. Each player will be given a character to play, who will be aligned with either the Town or the Mafia. To win the game, the Town must kill off all the Mafia, while the Mafia needs to outnumber the Town. 2. Each day you will be able to vote to lynch a player. Voting should be done in the following format; Vote: Character (Player). Similarly, unvoting is to be done in the format; Unvote: Character (Player). No other format will be accepted. A majority vote is required to lynch a player. 3. A game day will last a maximum of 72 hours. You may not vote in the first 24 hours. The day will end when a majority vote has been reached. After the day has concluded, a night stage will commence, which will last a maximum of 48 hours. Night actions must be sent to the host in the first 24 hours of the night stage. 4. The alignment of lynched players, as well as those that died during the night, will be revealed at the beginning of the next day. 5. You may not quote or pretend to quote anything sent to you by the game host via PM. This includes all the details of your character and role, as well as any night action results. Role claims and reporting of night action results are acceptable, but in your own words only. Do not attempt to use the structure of your role PM to your advantage. 6. Do not play the game outside the thread. Similarly, do not post out of character inside the thread. Game tactics and roles may only be discussed in the game thread or via PM with other players. Private discussion is done at your own risk and should be treated as part of the game. 7. If you are dead, you may not post in thread or discuss the game with any of the players. Any information you had becomes void, and may not be passed on. 8. You may not edit your posts. 9. You must post in every day thread. 10. If you encounter a problem or have a question, please contact the host via PM. 11. Violation of the above rules will result in a 5 vote penalty against you on your first offence, and the death of your character on your second offence. The Cast: Danielle Barrie, the Janitor (Dan the Brickman) Dreo Jacmel, the Bartender (dr jones) Geert Rotterdam, the Personal Trainer (Gregorovich) Bridget Darwin (Brickdoctor) Casey Roswell (Capt. Redblade) Colette LeMans (KielDaMan) Cruz Fortaleza (CommanderFox) Erin Ennis (Euvor) Keith Worthing (KartoffelViking) Kylan Ise (Cutlass Iz) Panda Panjin (Pandora) Siegmund Freiburg (smittyfan) Vanya Livny (Baylego) The Deceased: Ravi Bombay, the Chef (RvB) - Town - convicted on Day One - Failed Raquel Benito Juarez, the Maid (Raven Brickroft) - Town - convicted on Day Two - Passed Claudia Toscana, the Lifeguard (Captain Tamamono) - Town - killed on Night Two - Passed ~*~*~*~*~*~ The voting starts 24 hours from now. There are 13 players in the game, so it takes 7 votes to convict someone.
  11. The results of Night Two's actions have been sent, and Day Three will begin later today. Glad to see you're already looking forward to it.
  12. Thanks for letting me play in the All-Stars! Now I can better concentrate on my hosting duties, but I won't stop reading this game either. Have fun, everyone!
  13. It actually depends if I'm ready or not. I cannot post the next Day tonight, but I will try to get it a bit earlier tomorrow, if you don't mind.
  14. I need Dragonator to confirm this, but I can't see why not. Even though this is a simpler game than the previous ones, it doesn't make this any easier to win. By the way, Day Two's conclusion is now up, so don't miss it!
  15. Yes, the day should've ended before those unvotes started rolling in. Sorry I wasn't around then, but I had minor issues like sleep and work to deal with. Anyway, the unvotes do not count, and the Day Two topic has now been officially closed. The conclusion to the day will be up later today, but you can already start sending in your night actions for Night 2.
  16. NOTE: You cannot take back your votes once the conviction is reached, and that is why none of the unvotes will be counted. Vote Tally: Raquel Benito Juarez/Raven Brickroft: 11 (Pandora, Cutlass Iz, KielDaMan, Euvor, Brickdoctor, Gregorovich, dr jones, Captain Tamamono, Baylego, KartoffelViking, Dan the Brickman) Colette LeMans/KielDaMan: 1 (CommanderFox) You have convicted Raquel Benito Juarez/Raven Brickroft. ~*~*~*~*~*~ The shocked maid relied on her trusty broom to shoo away the lynch mob. No matter what she said, her words were like singing to deaf ears. The crowd had already decided to give her into the hands of Mr. Crusoe. With a few good smacks from her broom, Raquel dashed inside the Magnolia Lodge only to run into her employer, who was currently having an evening snack. Raquel fainted out of sheer panic. Next time Raquel came to her senses, she found herself tied into a chair, and Mr. Crusoe looking down on her with a weighty wrench on his hands. It was going to be a long, gruesome night for them both. ~*~*~*~*~*~ Day Two has ended and we move into another night phase. Please send in your night actions within 24 hours!
  17. Vote Tally: Raquel Benito Juarez/Raven Brickroft: 6 (Pandora, Cutlass Iz, KielDaMan, Euvor, Brickdoctor, Gregorovich) You have about 15 27 and a half hours left to vote.
  18. I had to change the grades to this current system, because I got feedback that it wasn't fair to rank you guys with school grades. So you will only get a "passed" or "failed" grade, plus a verbal evaluation at the end of the game.
  19. I decided to vote for you, Bristol, because you already had a few votes under your belt and we need a conviction today. It's too late for me to unvote now, anyway. But now it seems the votes are split, which is worrying me, because that's a common scum tactic in order to avoid conviction. I just hope there's enough time... I have to say, though, that Lazlo's sudden reveal is suspicious to me. He might be telling the truth, or he might be a blocker, but not on our Village's side. Next night will be revealing indeed... I'm just crossing my fingers (do bunnies even have those?) so that there's a conviction today.
  20. At noon, Mr. Crusoe returned to the crowd. He was furious upon hearing accusations towards himself. Why would he kill the only person he has ever loved and leave a note just to fool them? After showering them with a stream of curse words, Mr. Crusoe told the crowd that it was now time to vote again. And this time they better get it right. ~*~*~*~*~*~ Voting has now begun. You have a maximum of 48 hours to vote, and it takes 8 votes to convict a person.
  21. I will also vote: Bristol Bunny/Bob the Construction Man, but for no other reason than to get a conviction tonight, and because I somewhat trust Edgar for now. Better Bristol than me on the demon's rabbit stew...
  22. *gasp* Mind your language, Pennie! We're all civilized and prudent animals here! Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go moisten my flower. Before I go, I just want to remind you that we're all in danger here. Somebody's most probably going to die next night as well, and the night after that, and every night until we either get rid of the evil-doers or are all dead ourselves. We need to vote out someone, and of course that means putting someone at risk. We might make a serious mistake, but we won't know that for sure until we do it. But if Edgar is really convinced that Lauren is innocent, then I will have to unvote: Lauren Lamb/Zepher. Now, I sincerely hope you guys have some other name to vote for instead.
  23. Please do not speculate who's scum or not in this topic, not even as a joke or sibling rivalry. Thanks.
  24. Well, she hasn't contacted me privately, and I doubt she would've just revealed everything to me if I'd confronted her in private. She and I kinda crossed our flowerstalks yesterday, if you didn't notice. So I felt going public with what I was told was the only way to solve this mess. Sorry if it bothers you...
  25. Well, duh! I might be a blabbermouth, but I'm not a sell-out. I don't know if I can trust my contact or not, but until they proove me otherwise, I'm not going to expose them.
