I already made my case against Ruxana. I haven't learned anything new about her. It just bugs me that she had a spout with Yuri, who brought it to daylight, and when he dies she is the one who suddenly knows all about his killer. It just smells too much of a ploy to divert attention from herself. But then again, she wouldn't accuse Donil if she did not know for sure he'd be found scum. And then there's her "unblockable" night action, and so far the only blocker we know of have been Town. Donil on the other hand was claimed to be seen targetting Yuri, which he does not deny. Why didn't he deny it, when it was only Ruxana's word against his own? I really find it hard to believe both of them to be townies, though Yan seems to think differently for some reason. Despite the confusion, these are the two names we have to choose from today, unless something drastic happens. Several people have said they could vote for Ruxana over Donil, but so far nobody has voted for Ruxana. I don't wish to drag this game any further than necessary, because both sides have gotten the chance to defend themselves. That's why I will cast my and Denis's votes against the one I have stronger feeling to being scum. Blame my stupid guts if I'm wrong. Vote: Ruxana (Roncanator)

1. Some quests may include merchants, or allow you to shop at the Marketplace. Other than that, you should spend your money mostly on preparing for quests. 2. Yes, it works with staves just as well. I'm trying to keep this game as simple as possible for accessibility reasons. 3. A bedroll/inn rest restores health and ether completely, and they are naturally also fully restored in-between quests. Neither health nor ether is automatically restored over time during a quest, though.

New information has been risen up, which makes me unable to vote for Stanislav anymore. Whether it's the truth or a scum ploy remains to be seen, but I can't take the risk. That is why I unvote: Stanislav (Shadows). I strongly feel we should be voting for Ruxana instead of Donil today, but I don't want to split votes anymore. I will wait to see how things escalate before casting my vote again (as I cannot unvote anymore today). But boy does it feel wonderful to be able to actually vote! I feel like my vote was held back by Max or someone else who has died, but it could also be that the vote hijacker has moved on to another victim.

I just hope this doesn't make people abandon throwing weapons altogether. Remember that you can carry several weapons at a time, so once you've thrown one throwing weapon, you could throw another and then spend one turn retrieving them both. Then, an important notice: ~Once the quests starts, the players participating to those quests should not post into the Heroica Hall and Marketplace topics, unless given permit by the Quest Master!~

Oh wow, a godfather is dead! It's a great thing to us Townies, but I think we're forgetting the option that the Russian Mafia had an usurper who needed to get their leader killed, and they recruited the poisoner to kill Max. Sounds farfetched, I know, but I've seen it happen in movies before. Now, what comes to voting, I'm not ready to give neither Ruxana nor Donil a pass as a Townie just yet, but it looks like we have a more likely target now. I'm sorry, Stanislav, but even though you posed helpfulness in our private letter exchange, I always had that nagging feeling in the back of my mind that you're deceiving me. What you've said today has only increased my suspicions. It's assuring that instead one of the people accused being the one to point the finger at you, it was Denis. That's why, and here's to hoping this works, I vote: Stanislav (Shadows).

Thank you for pointing out the poor logic I used by giving the Rogues a ranged weapon as well. But I have a solution: From now on, weapons of the throwing weapon category (e.g. boomerangs, shurikens, throwing daggers) take a turn to retrieve. So once you've successfully attacked with the weapon from the back row, you have to spend the next turn retrieving it if you wish to attack again. Because of this change, any Rogue or Ranger who has already chosen a throwing weapon as their starting weapon are allowed to switch their weapon if they want to. For the other question, Venom is used on a weapon either outside battle or during a battle, but it will only last one battle either way.

The chosen players for the three quests have been posted to the Heroica Hall topic (to both the first post and my latest post). Congratulations to all of you who got in, and to those who didn't, I'm sure there's plenty of quests coming up for you, so keep signing in. The quests will launch tomorrow, if all goes well.

Over the evening, three different people came to Heroica Hall and posted something on the Quest Board. The participants to each quest were chosen. Quest #1: Harvest Time "I've picked these six people to slay the monsters raiding our fields. Meet me tomorrow at my farm." ~Old Mack Donauld - Bartholomew Docken, Level 1 Ranger (Brickdoctor) *Party Leader* - Sir Christopher Daggerfall, Level 1 Knight (Fred Fred Burger) - Tesni Hightribe, Level 1 Barbarian (Peppermint_M) - Jess Islanti, Level 1 Rogue (cralegoboy) - Tomas, Level 1 Cleric (Captain Tamamono) - Thrain Longbeard, Level 1 Knight (Lego Pinocchio) Quest #2: Looking Through the Wares "These are the six champions I've chosen for this highly secretive quest. Arrive to Hinckwell warehouses by the harbour tomorrow for more information." ~Lorcan Hinckwell - Atramor Gibbin, Level 1 Rogue (CallMePieOrDie) - Lord Lawrence Boomingham, Level 1 Knight (Zepher) - Alexis Fenral, Level 1 Ranger (Masked Builder) - Eric, Level 1 Barbarian (Khorne) - Rufindel Galadhras, Level 6 Cleric (Rufus) *Party Leader* - Hybros, Level 1 Rogue (JimButcher) Quest #3: The Missing Matriarch "Here are listed the names of the six noble heroes that shall arrive to the Ziegfried Manor tomorrow to investigate the disappearance of our beloved matriarch." ~High Conjurator Altair Ziegfried - Nyx, Level 6 Mage (Pandora) *Party Leader* - Althior Emorith, Level 1 Mage (K-nut) - Sylph Solanum, Level 1 Cleric (Dannylonglegs) - Cronk, Level 1 Knight (CorneliusMurdock) - Signor Bacari, Level 1 Ranger (Capt.JohnPaul) - Namyrra Uq, Level 1 Mage (Quarryman) ~If any of the chosen players cannot commit to their quest for at least three weeks, let me know as soon as possible so I can find a replacement for you.~

That's true. Blocking the blocker, a scary thought. I think Ruxana knew about Yuri being a blocker. Yuri also forwarded me some threatening letters he got from Ruxana. In one of them Ruxana said "It is indeed an odd role but I am town and will definitely need to stick around in this game for us town to actually win." After that, she offered Yuri help, asking him who he thought she should target with her night action - without explaining what her night action actually did. If that's not posing helpfulness, I don't know what is.
-
Well, it's what Petr was talking about yesterday, by saying Ruxana had a "nasty night action". I don't know if Yuri told him as much as me, though. Too bad Yuri didn't live long enough to tell me who he blocked last night, though, because that would confirm the person is not either of the killers.
-
But Donil, surely you understand that Ruxana would not accuse you so openly and directly unless she knew you were scum - because lying would only cause us to lynch her tomorrow. She could be a Townie who has been tricked by someone, but in that case I think she would've worded her accusation to be less direct and affirmative. She is not the investigator either, because it would be too risky to reveal herself at this stage of the situation. No, I don't believe neither one of you is an innocent Townie. I could be mistaken, but no other option makes more sense than that.

I love the architecture of the castle. And the design makes it look much larger than it really is, with the multitude of towers, balconies and staircases. I also like the background story very much, with the vampire clan and the group of heroes fighting them. I would've maybe experimented with the color palette of the castle some more, but on the other hand the castle looks very cohesive now. I have to add that this MOC and story would fit perfectly to a quest of the Heroica RPG (nudge nudge).
-
On the other hand, yes, and on the other hand, no. I cannot pick somebody to quests that they did not sign into, so signing into all quests definitely improves your chances to getting on some quest eventually. But there are other criteria as well, so if you don't fill them, you won't get into a quest, no matter how many quests you sign into. Those criteria include activity within the game topics, good writing quality and an original character. Party balance is also important to me when I choose the players for each quests. I won't choose six knights into one quest, for example.

Oh no, I told Yuri he should be protected... I can shed light to this incident with Yuri and Ruxana. Yuri was our Town Blocker, and on the first night he tried to block Ruxana, but got a message that she could not be blocked. That's why Yuri suspected Ruxana was either a Strongman, Hider or Commuter. Yuri confronted her about this, asking if she really was a Stronman, but Ruxana got all passive-aggressive and told that she was instead a "Strong-arm" (no definition can be found for such a profession). Odd, no? Now it's Ruxana out of all the people who tells us she knows about Yuri's killer. Sounds way too convenient for me. Maybe Donil is a member of another Mafia, so it'd be safe for Ruxana to blame him, but Ruxana has her hands deep in this mess. You must now decide who to trust, my fellow citizens: Ruxana or me. I for one will be voting for Ruxana (and hope my vote works this time), but we shouldn't let Donil off the hook either. The fact is that us Townies have now began losing important roles to us, so we must take affirmative action and vote out a scum next.

As you already heard from the others, the Advanced Classes that unlock at Level 15 work pretty much exactly like the classes in your suggestion. I can reveal that you got the Paladin right, but the other combinations are something different in this game. And yes, that's the hand cannon. Who knows, maybe the future of this game will introduce muskets and other early guns as well.
-
I really like that there's activity in the Heroica Hall, but I have to agree with some of the others that too much creativity within the topic kind of ruins the real purposes of that topic, which are introduction, getting to know other characters and signing into quests. While I understand you are frustrated in waiting for the quests to start, there's countless other topics to write in here in Eurobricks to pass the time. So please stop making Heroica Hall a quest on it's own. If you have ideas for future quests, please post them to the Quest Masters' Lounge topic. Thanks!
-
It's hard to predict, but 3 weeks is an approximate time for my quests, I guess. Good to know you'd be ready to give the hosting a go, Zeph! I'll still need to approve your ideas first, so send a PM my way once you've done planning them.

I believe new members are restricted from having images in their signatures. Just post some more around the boards, and the image should pop up in no time. Joining this game has certainly increased your post count in a very short time, I see.

Ellaria had returned to Heroica Hall once, but after hearing the ruckus from the inside, she hadn't dared to enter. Now she was just spending time wandering around Eubric. She finally came to the Marketplace, where she decided to spend what little gold she had. Ellaria bought another Potion from Portia and a Bedroll from Gnomeo, for a total of 10 gold. She was now stranded on this strange city without any money, but she had faith things would take a turn for the better soon.
-
You don't sell the treasure like you do normal items, but you can add their value to your amount of gold automatically, like Brickdoctor said.
-
I felt generous, so I made new avatars to the gallery for the following players (either because the previous picture was too large or the minifig was too small in the picture): Jedi master brick Quarryman SirSven7 Dannylonglegs Peppermint_M Fives Each of them has a special job class-specific border, even. You are free to use the avatars in your signature as well, if you want to.
-
KhoRne already answered it correctly for me. Bedrolls restore full health, but it's up to the Quest Master's jurisdiction when they can be used during a quest. The heroes certainly cannot take a nap in a monster-infected dungeon, but they have to rely on their items and a Cleric's healing instead.
-
That is correct. The venom is effective in one battle only. However (and sorry for giving you guys teasers again, but it's just so fun), one of the advanced classes - the Witch, which is a mix of a Cleric and a Rogue - have their weapons permanently poisoned.
-
I see several people with characters for this game in their signatures but who haven't yet introduced themselves in the Heroica Hall -topic. Remember, you need to introduce your character in order to join the game officially.
