Well, just saying "check out MOC" would sound too vague at least to me, and "my OC" would be confusing as well, since MOC is a standardized abbreviation in the fandom. So we just have to go with the case of RAS syndrome we've got going on here.

Now this is enlightening. Petr voted for Barbara, and immediately Denis came in to turn against Petr. Like I said earlier, you Petr shouldn't use the word "trust" so carelessly, and hearing you have your own definition for the word makes it sound like an emergency lie. You can't say you trust someone and then say trust means just "not voting for them" for you. Those are two completely different things! I wouldn't vote for the large majority of this group today because of lack of evidence, but I still do not trust a single one of them. But I do not like the way Denis attacked you, either. At this hour of the day, it feels like you are trying to divide the votes to protect someone, Denis. You already said you are not afraid of the penalty, but that's not something a Townie would choose over potentially ousting a mobster. Voting is our best weapon against the Mafia, and we should focus our votes. I understand being suspicious of Petr, but flat-out voting for him before waiting for other people's opinions is alarming. Five people have so far been under scrutiny, and three people have already gotten votes. We still have time to unite our votes, though. It's just a matter of choosing our sides. I'm inclined to vote: Barbara/BobtheConstructionMan, because Denis jumped in to defend her. I'd rather vote for Denis or Benji, though, but I just preached about not dividing votes so I can't do that myself. I will switch my vote if the majority seems to go after either one of those two, though.

Thank you, Petr, for bringing your suspicions forward for all of us to see. I agree that Barbara hasn't contributed anything yet, but with a group this big, flying under the radar is really easy for the scum - just speak up a few times with nothing consequential to say. I don't know if we'll hit the "jackpot" so to speak just by voting for the one who has spoken the least. But what comes to Benji, your quotes showed some pretty scummy behaviour there. He's giving off the illusion of contribution, but really doesn't. Out of these two, I'd be more inclined to vote for Benji. What do others think, should we go after either Barbara or Benji? I don't think we'll get anywhere with the Eugene vs. Nika case, but it's good to keep an eye on them in the future.

Congratulations, Rufindel, and welcome to the club. -
I have to agree with Eugene, Nika. If you never intended to vote for Eugene, why did you have to emphasize his addiction? You can't really say "he's suspicious but I will never vote for him", can you? Like Stanislav said, either you tried to subtly get people to vote for Eugene, or you just weren't thinking what you were saying (although Stanislav used a more brusque description). But like I said earlier, this could very well be the other way around, scummy Eugene trying to get everyone to vote for the innocent Nika. Or then they are both innocent, and the Mafia is just rubbing their hands in delight. We'll never know until we vote either of them out, but is that time today? Because nothing else has come up, I'm afraid it is. I want to listen to a few more opinions before making my decision on who to vote, if you'll excuse me.
-
What a pickle! I'm getting my brains on a twist again, but I do see sense in Eugene's accusation towards Nika. She does seem a bit too eager to find someone to place blame on. I do understand wanting to vote someone out, since I too believe it's exactly what we must do today for the good of our community, but to go after Eugene just because the poor boy has an unfortunate addiction? Now, the trouble is that there's a high chance both of them are on our side. I can't imagine the mobsters wanting to draw attention to them in any way, yet once someone makes the decisive move to vote, it's usually either the target of that vote or the voter himself who is voted out, since those two are at the center of the attention. Should we follow that path today and vote out either Eugene or Nika? I don't really think so for the reasons stated above, but I also know that siding with anyone is usually an effective way to draw yourself into the mix as well, so I don't want to be too adamant on this. But I see that Eugene is getting some defenders against Nika already. I'll be standing by to see how this develops.

I don't think it's wise to trust anyone at this point. I love my wife with all my heart, but how could I know if she's secretly working for the Mafia or not? Trust is a luxury given only to the mobsters, so claiming you trust someone makes you look suspicious to me. But then again, as you said, a mobster wouldn't voice out people they trust. Unless you're using reverse psychology on us, and now I've got a headache from all the thinking. I'm just a simple mechanic, after all. What would I know...

Dreadful business, I agree. Moonlight has never been an easy place to live in, I can tell you. First Sarah and I lost our older daughter Florence, and soon after our precious Darlene. A parent should never outlive their children, I can vouch that the saying is true. We are lucky to have Ivan as our son-in-law, there has never been a more brave and upstanding man in this city. Thanks to Ivan, I feel as if all you Russians are my family. And when something threatens his family, a man must stand up and fight. I will fight with you until we've ousted the very last mobster from our midst, this I swear!

Yes, of course. You will have a player character that does all these quests and grows in power and renown for it. -

Nice to hear I've gotten people excited. Like I said, this is actually a new game system, which will go on for as long as there are eager hosts and players. The various quests (think of them like miniature mystery games with battles) are the main thing in this game, the rest of it is just framework. And there will be an actual battle system included, one that is heavily inspired by the Heroica boardgame but extended. The entire rules that explain the game mechanics will be revealed once the game launches. -

The game should start in a matter of days, I believe. We just need to get a few final issues sorted out before that. Mind you, this is not just a single game but a whole new game system, so it's been a long process to get everything together. Here's a sneak peek into what the game is all about: -
Heroica RPG will start in the Games forum as soon as we get everything finished. It's been a long time in the planning, even before we knew about the Heroica boardgames (which we then adopted as the setting of the RPG). All interested members can play it, so keep your eyes on the Games forum.

I really like these. You've managed to stay quite true to the originals, although I'd do a few things differently (granted, I might have a bigger minifig part collection than you). First of all, the Ranger's hair should be brown, so either one of these two hairpieces would work better imo: I'd put a red cape on the Wizard, along with this hat (not available in any set, but you can find it from Bricklink.com): As for the Barbarian, may I suggest this Viking torso?

After seeing the figures, I have to say I'm hugely disappointed. Sure, little girls will probably like how they look, but how are they any different from all those figurine toys already out there? How can TLG even think of being able to compete with Polly Pocket and other such well-established brands with figurines that are basically copies from those brand? And I dare say that a Polly Pocket set costs only a fraction of what these new "Friends" sets will. LEGO is all about building without limitations, and that's the main reason why it's among the leading toy producers in the world. Sure, you can build the sets in "Friends", but without customizable figurines, the sets will most probably not stand out for girls. It's common knowledge that girls love to swap outfits and hairdos for their toys, and with minifigs that would've been simple and easy. But somehow TLG neglected to use their biggest asset for this theme, instead offering updated DUPLO figures. Alas, complaining about it won't change anything. I just still don't get what TLG was thinking with this theme, not at all... Haha, that thought crossed my mind as well. How about a game of "Bratz Mafia", anyone?

I need both. -
MOC stands for "My Own Creation", and you can call anything you built AND designed yourself MOC (otherwise it'll be somebody else's MOC). Now, if you take an existing LEGO set and make changes to it, that's usually called a "mod", short for a modified set. In your example, a broken down Hogwarts set would be a mod in strict terms, not a MOC. But you can still showcase it as something you thought up yourself. There's no shame in modifying existing sets, on the contrary many people find it fun and exciting to do. And in the end of the day, it's not important what term you use for your creation, so don't stress about it.

This caught my eye from the Ice Fisherman's bio: " And once, after three long months of sitting and waiting through the cold Arctic winter, he even fished up a magic lamp with a wish-granting genie. (The first thing he wished for? A warmer coat!)" Obviously a hint of what's to come. -
Hell yeah I'll play! 1. If you're unsure of my Mafia history, take a glance at the "About me" box in my profile. There you have it. 2. I'm going back to work next week (yay money!), but there's nothing preventing me from playing this game every day. 3. I'll show you my portal if you show me yours. 4. My most embarrassing moment must've been when I was attending a course for the Green Youth about five years ago, and we all went to eat on the organization's expense. Oblivious to the "no meat" policy, I ordered kebab while everybody else had falafel. Oh those looks they gave me...

You obviously have never been to Manhattan, New York. I saw numerous people dressed up as Statue of Liberty in the tourist spots, luring people to take their picture with them in exchange for money. I'm sure that's a year-round occupation, too. -

The skateboard doesn't bother me, the figure is superb in spite of it, just like the other skaters have been. They can easily be used as modern teenagers in a LEGO city with or without their skateboards.
