Bat C - Hit >Alexis vs. Big Rat - Special Damage Atramor vs. Bat D - Hit Hybros vs. Bat A - Damage Boomingham vs. Bat B - Special Damage Rufindel vs. Bat C - Critical Hit At the start of the battle, Eric strikes the third bat with Godricsleif for 7 damage. Alexis is poisoned by the Big Rat's Foul Bite, and loses 1 point of health. Atramor hits the fourth bat with his poisonous Chain Whip, dealing 8 damage and causing the bat to be poisoned, making it lose 1 additional point of health. Hybros receives 3 damage from the first bat, while the second bat leeches 4 health from Lord Boomingham. Rufindel lands a critical hit on the third bat, taking it down. Four enemies remain. The battle continues. 2. Results of Round One of the Library Battle: Cronk vs. Tan Book - Special Damage >Bacari vs. Green Book - Special Damage >Nyx (Lightning) vs. Mabel the Table - Damage >Althior (Lightning) vs. Blue Book - Special Damage >Namyrra (Fire) vs. Red Book - Great Spell Sylph vs. Black Book - Special Damage The battle commences. The Flying Book with tan covers tries to give Cronk Bad Education, but fails since he doesn't have any ether. The same happens with the green-covered Book and Bacari. Mabel the Table assaults Nyx, but only takes 2 damage because she is standing in the back row. The blue Book manages to give Bad Education to Althior, sucking away all his ether and thus rendering him unable to cast spells until some of it is regained. Namyrra manages to create a big fireball and hurls it at the red Flying Book, damaging it for 8 points of health and thus defeating it. Sylph Solanum, the party's healer, gets all his ether drained as well by the Book with black-covers. Severely disabled, the party still faces five enemies. The battle continues. 3. What I find strange is that I'm still alive, even though Dmitri flat-out told everyone he found me innocent. Am I that much of an asset to the scum, really? You could convict me today to find out I haven't been misguiding you on purpose, but then you'd just be short of yet another townie. Believe me, I'm ready to take one for the team, but I'd like to do it when it's most advantageous. My death wouldn't prove that Dmitri is telling the truth, at least.
  4. Those "symbols" are supposed to be mouths! Are my furniture wizards really that badly built?
  5. I fear the "Peeping Tom" might have been scum after all, feeding me made-up information. On the other hand, he did claim to see Ruxana target Petr, which Ruxana confirmed herself. He is awfully convincing, that's why I have a hard time believing he is scum, but I'm running out of all other options.
  6. The party looks through the crates on the second aisle thoroughly, but do not find anything even resembling a crown marked on any of them. Suddenly they hear flapping of wings, and as they look up, they see four bats sitting on top of the crates. At their feet they hear squeaking of another big rat, which Alexis translates. "Squeak squeak!!! [You killed mah woman 'n' mah brats, you bastards, and now you're gonna to pay! I called my leatherwinged homies to help me beat you up real good!]" Then the big rat and his cohorts attack. PREPARE FOR BATTLE! 7. The party heads to inspect the Library next. Much to their surprise, they find books fluttering in the air around a grinning desk with an ample amount of lipstick. When the sentient table spots the party, however, it starts to moan. "N-n-no, I cannot stop myself! P-please forgive me, Sir Cronk!" The voice belongs to the Secondary Spiritist Mabel Ziegfried. Not being able to resist the curse, she attacks the party, accompanied by five flying books. PREPARE FOR BATTLE! 8. The party decides to catch the Black Sheep first. It's not hard to do, but as they inspect it only to find it is a real sheep, the Little Lamb gets eaten by the Direwolf. Which sheep will the party catch next? 1. Little Lamb 2. Silent Lamb 3. Fluffy Lamb 4. Pristine Sheep 5. Loud Sheep 6. Black Sheep 7. Chubby Ewe 8. Prancing Ewe 9. Christmas Ewe 10. Horny Ram 11. Battering Ram 12. Old Ram
  9. Of course, any illustration you want to use in any of these topics is totally fine by me!
  10. Oh my... I can't believe I made such a mistake with Ruxana! I have to go through what was said to me about her and find out just who was lying and about what. I just felt like everything pointed towards Ruxana being scum, but when the votes started pouring in yesterday, I started to doubt myself a bit. I'm also concerned that because there were no gun-kills tonight, at least one person was converted. That means our numbers have dwindled even more nevertheless. I hope Dmitri was speaking the truth, though, and one of the bullets was wasted on his bulletproof vest. You shouldn't ignore my role in Ruxana's death, and I understand if people don't trust me anymore, but I swear to you that I am Town. I think it's best if I step down from the "limelight" for the time being. If Dmitri found a scum last night, I'm sure he'll go public with the result.
  11. I have to apologize for some slip-ups in the battle results and item sharings. I won't take any offence if you remind me of something I seem to have forgotten, on the contrary. I am hosting three games at the same time, after all, so keeping track of everything is a chore. But luckily it's weekend soon, so I can give my undivided attention to you guys. Thanks for being so active, guys!
  12. Results of Round Two of the Shadeaux Guards & Hound Battle: Eric vs. Spear Guard - Special Damage Boomingham vs. Spear Guard - Miss >Alexis vs. Guard Hound - Shield Atramor vs. Spear Guard - Miss >Rufindel vs. Guard Hound - Miss As the battle rages on, the remaining Shadeaux Guard manages to sneak behind Eric and Stun him, preventing him from acting in the next round. Lord Boomingham misses his attack on the guard, but Alexis' Tripleshot takes care of the Guard Hound with one arrow and causes 12 points of damage to the Shadeaux Guard, as two arrows hit him. Both Atramor and Rufindel miss as well. One enemy remains, so the battle goes on. 13. The old farmer takes the party to the Sheep Meadow. There are twelve sheep of varying sizes and shapes bleeting in the grass. One of them is the Direwolf in disguise, but it's impossible to tell which one until examined. "This is all that is left of my once thriving flock of a hundred sheep. Because they're so fast, it takes all six of you to catch a sheep. Remember, each time you catch a sheep and examine it, that fleabag of a wolf will take the chance to eat another one from the flock. If six sheep get eaten before you catch the Direwolf, the field will be ruined." The farmer went on to name the sheep: 1. Little Lamb 2. Silent Lamb 3. Fluffy Lamb 4. Pristine Sheep 5. Loud Sheep 6. Black Sheep 7. Chubby Ewe 8. Prancing Ewe 9. Christmas Ewe 10. Horny Ram 11. Battering Ram 12. Old Ram Which one would the party attempt to catch first?
  14. Just put the image code next to your character name, or combine some of the lines. That should solve your problem. Anyway, this is not the right topic to ask that kind of questions. Please use the Heroica RPG Rules & Discussion topic in the future.
  15. The party decides to check the servants' quarters first. There are four beds (although the one belonging to Schuester looks more like some animal's nest than a bed), one of which is occupied by a snoring housemaid. None of the furniture seem bent to attack them, and there is nothing worthwhile to take.
  16. ~Announcement: Portia's Potion Shack now stocks Water Bombs. Check out all the pretty new pictures as well!~

"Ssshhhooossstttrrr dddrrrwwwwssshhh", the butler hisses, holding out a slip of paper. The party takes it, and realize it's a sketch of the layout of the Ziegfried Manor. Now that they know how to navigate in the manor, where does the party want to head first?
  18. Thanks for the offer, but I think I've got those pretty much covered. It would help if you posted a picture of your character like the rules ask you to, so I can add him to the gallery. A dwarven cleric, I like that!

Boomingham takes the Sentinel position, preventing everyone in the party from getting damaged physically during the next round. Alexis shoots the Guard Hound from afar, dealing 6 damage. 20. Umm... Sure, I've thought about getting some help. That's why I created this topic, so interested people can pitch their own quests. I sure as hell will not be hosting all quests myself! Although I have six more specific quest ideas brewing up already, along with the main plotlines.
  21. To my understanding, the Peeping Tom is a watcher who watched Ruxana, and saw her targeting Petr (but did not see what night action she used). On previous nights, the Peeping Tom watched Petr (who was "nowhere to be found") and Elena (who was seen targeting Patrick unsuccessfully, and was targeted by Max). This seems to confirm that Max was indeed Padme, and Donil did not kill Yuri after all (because I trust the Mafia wouldn't get two kills per night).
  22. "I don't remember much." The wizard's voice is quiet, almost a whisper. "Most of it was told to us by our father. He said mother had died in a magical accident. It is a common way for a wizard to go, I admit. Some survive, but are altered for life, like our sister Chesterine. Anyway, the night father told us that mother had died the ominous voice spoke to us... Grandmother was very upset then, I don't think I've ever seen her in such a state of mind after that. It was a very scary situation for us children, and I think I kept my eyes closed through most of it. I-I'm sorry, I fear we are involved with something highly dangerous... If you can help, I am very grateful, but if you think you cannot, I won't blame you for running away. I would, if I could... But I don't know what happened to Beth and the children... Oh no, the children!" With that, the High Conjurator stood up and dashed out of the parlour. The heroes were left standing alone.
  23. Samuel the Big Voice.
  24. ~Note: Using an item during battle takes one turn. You may not attack in the same turn.~
  25. The red-clad mage shakes his head. "I didn't even remember having heard such a voice before I heard it again. And even as we speak I have trouble remembering what the voice sounded like... It's as if the voice does not want to be remembered... But if what it said is true, that we are doomed to repeat the mistakes of the past, then I think I can guess when I heard the voice the last time... It was when mother died, back when Goldraum and I were just little children. Oh, this is so horrible..." The High Conjurator falls silent, and just sits at the couch of the parlour. There is nothing more to be found in that room. What will the party do next?
