  1. The party rushes to search the second aisle, and fails to notice the tripwire that alarms two of the Shadeaux guards and a guard hound. "Halt, intruders! Thieves will be dealt swift justice!" the other guard shouts. A battle ensues. PREPARE FOR BATTLE! 2. Yes, if a weapon is imbued with e.g. a Ruby and an Aquamarine, it deals normal damage to fiery enemies, since the weakness and immunity cancel each other out. So a weapon with all nine gems imbued in it (the process of which would cost a total of 1350 gold if all gems had to be bought, by the way) would only cause double damage to humanoids, beasts and undead enemies, since those three types do not have an elemental immunity. Undead enemies are immune only to non-elemental attacks, so any weapon with a gem imbued in it would damage them - and a Diamond-imbued weapon would deal double damage. You can just say a Ziegfried did it.
  3. Back at the farmhouse, Old Mack Donauld inquires the party's next desired destination. 1. Sheep Meadow ~ You must find the Direwolf hiding among the twelve sheep. Each time one of you catches a normal sheep, the Direwolf eats another sheep. If six sheep get eaten before the beast is captured, the field is ruined. 2. Corn Maze ~ You must navigate through the corn maze to find the possessed Scarecrow. If you return to the entrance two times before the monster is slain, the field is ruined. 3. Haystacks ~ You must search through nine haystacks to find three Battle Ants. The ants have also hidden three Fire Bombs into the haystacks that will go off if the stack is searched. The ants must be found before the three bombs, or the field is ruined. 4. Apple Orchard ~ SAVED! 5. Pumpkin Patch ~ SAVED!
  4. There are hundreds of crates in the warehouse full of all sorts of merchandise. Does the party really want to waste precious time to open them all?
  5. Well, as long as you check in as often as possible. It would've been nice to get a mention of these vacations before signing up to the quests, though...
  6. Results of Round One of the Dryad Battle: Thrain Longbeard vs. Autumn Dryad - Shield Sir Christopher Daggerfall vs. Autumn Dryad - Shield >Bartholomew Docken vs. Autumn Dryad - Aim Tesni Hightribe vs. Black Bugbear - Shield Jess Islanti vs. Brown Bugbear - Critical Hit >Tomas vs. Grey Bugbear - Spirit Guard The battle starts with Thrain Longbeard taking the Sentinel position, protecting everyone from damage for the next round. Thinking this as some sort of pissing contest, Christopher also takes on the Sentinel position. Bartholomew takes a good aim at the Autumn Dryad, causing only 3 points of damage. Tesni on the other hand goes on a Frenzy, causing 6 points of damage to all enemies thanks to the extra power gained from eating the Big Apple. That means all three Bugbears fall to Cryfder's blade. With his original target gone, Tomas turns his attention to the Autumn Dryad, who tries to ensnare him with her Poison Ivy, but Tomas's divine powers prevent that. The Dryad still stands, so the battle continues. Enemies: Autumn Dryad Type: Humanoid, Plant Level: 3 Health: 9/16 Special: Poison Ivy – Binds the target’s feet for the next turn, making it unable to switch rows or attack with close-ranged weapons, and also causes poisoned-effect, making the target lose 1 health each turn until the effect is remedied, the target is defeated or the battle is won. The Autumn Dryad whips both Sir Christopher and Bartholomew with her briars, but the knights' Sentinel protects them both. Tesni lands an extra critical hit on the Dryad, causing 12 damage, which is all it takes to bring the menace down. THE BATTLE IS VICTORIOUS! THE FIELD IS SAVED! All party members gain a level of experience. The enemies drop one remedy, one venom and three potions. Alexis receives 1 point of damage from the White Rat (because 1 cannot be halved), while Hybros is poisoned, losing 1 point of health as well. Eric slays the Dark Grey Rat, and with his target gone, Atramor lunges the White Rat instead, but the rat manages to bite him. Lord Boomingham is also poisoned by the White Rat's Foul Bite. One enemy remains, and the battle continues. 8. 1. Gems cost 100 gold in shops (if you ever find a shop that sells them), but trade between two players is totally up to them. If someone is willing to buy a gem from you at that prize, it's your business. You can also give it away for free, if you want. 2. That is possible, but not encouraged. And in any case, the experience level won't transfer. That's exactly right, thanks Cornelius!
  9. Nice try, Ruxana, but no cookie. Like Nika said, everything you said above could easily be made up by a person who's been watching the talk closely. Unsurprisingly, everyone who could confirm these claims of yours are dead. Besides, it wasn't Barbara who told me you said you were going to follow Boris. You're just full of lies. Vote: Ruxana (Roncanator) And I apologize for ever suspecting your late wife, Boris. She was just so quiet...
  10. There is, but it won't be revealed until someone hits Level 15 and opens the option to choose an advanced class. And JimBee, the Cleric/Rogue advanced class is a Witch, not a Necromancer. Players are allowed to change their characters, but they can only keep one character at a time, and none of the experience and items of the old character can be given to the new character. All of the advanced classes that are a combination of cleric and another basic class have healing powers. The combos you mentioned are Druid and Warden, respectively.
  11. Yes, according to the person claiming to be "Peeping Tom", they saw Ruxana targetting Petr last night. Then another person sent me a message how Ruxana had told them yesterday she intended to track Boris. If we place trust to those two sources (and me), then the case is clear, and Ruxana needs to be voted out. I might be lead on by the scum to wrongly accuse Ruxana instead of Donis, but somehow I doubt it...
  12. We just got our 46th player joining into the game. I'm overwhelmed! In fact, I'm so overwhelmed that I will update my statistics, since a whopping twenty players have joined after I made them. PLAYER CHARACTERS BY JOB CLASS: Barbarians: 8 (5 new) Clerics: 4 (0 new?!) Knights: 10 (4 new) Mages: 6 (4 new) Rangers: 10 (4 new) Rogues: 8 (3 new) PLAYER CHARACTERS BY GENDER: Female: 10 (3 new) Male: 35 (17 new) Unknown: 1 (0 new) PLAYER CHARACTERS BY RACE: Dwarf: 1 (1 new) Elf: 5 (1 new) Fenarian: 1 (1 new) Giant: 1 (1 new) Half-Elf: 1 (1 new) Halfling: 2 (1 new) House-elf: 1 (1 new) Human: 29 (11 new) Imp: 1 (0 new) Ogre: 1 (1 new) Orc: 2 (1 new) Unknown: 1 (0 new) There's something to think about when you create a character. You should of course create a character you're comfortable playing as, but it's important to stand out from the crowd, too, eh?
  13. Scheherazade, the owner of the saloon, walks over to Alf. "Nice picture you've got there, darling, but we'd still like a portrait of you in real life, thanks." ~Note: Only photographs of minifigs are allowed to the gallery, no drawings or LDD creations. Sorry!~
  14. This is still my favorite set of all time, rivaled only by the Medieval Market Village. The Dragon Fortress wins over it with the gorgeous dragon and the stylish design, though. Great review, thank you for that!
  15. The High Conjurator shrugs as he hands over the chosen gems to Nyx. "I might ask why is the Hinckwell family's insignia a crown, then, or why the Shadeaux gather under the bat banner? It is simply tradition, although our family has always taken an interest in strange and eccentric animals. And truly, what is stranger than a phoenix with two heads?"
  16. Feeling the thrill of the battle, Eric falls into a Frenzy, dealing 5 damage to each rat. The White Rat tries to get back at Boomingham by attacking him, but his shield deflects the attack. Atramor, Hybros and Alexis all get a hit on their targets, finishing off three of the rats, including the head of the pack. Because Rufindel's target was defeated, he turns his attention to the dark grey rat, but it attacks him with its Foul Bite. Luckily Rufindel's Spirit Guard blocks the poisonous effect. Two enemies remain. The battle goes on. 17. The party searches all the furniture and artefacts in the parlour, but none of them springs to life suddenly. The phoenix, the pterosaur hanging over the backdoor and the scary beast in the corner are just mounted monsters, long deceased. "I-I-I really don't know what happened", said the High Conjurator, still clearly in shock. "I do remember the room going dark and the voice and the purple light, but I don't know what this all means... Except... I do have an ominous inkling that I've heard the voice before... as a child..." Then the mage jumped up from the sofa he had directed to sit in. "No, we must not give into the oppressor, who - or what - ever he is! We will get to the bottom of this, and your help is much appreciated!" Altair then walked to the magically locked chest by the backdoor, and opened it. "I know this is preliminary, but I want you to take your reward now as you set out to solve this case. In this chest there are nine magic gems, one of each element. I want each of you three mages to choose three gems to aid you in this mission, but on the agreement that once this is over, you each will give one of the gems to your non-mage allies and return one to me, keeping only one gem to yourself. You all must agree to this before taking any of them." The High Conjurator waited for their reply. What gems would each of the mages choose?
  18. I wish I would have gotten a more elaborate explanation from Stanislav, but all he said was "If I don't survive the night, I'm absolutely certain that both Dragonator and def are scum." So it wasn't exactly "100%" like I remembered, but very close. And he used nicknames, but I think we know he was talking about Dmitri and Denis. I was subsequently approached by those two in private. They both said pretty much the same thing as they said here in public, but I have to admit that Stanislav did mention being in contact with an investigator and that the investigator had found me Town on the first night. That is why my suspicions turn more towards Denis, who tried to sway the votes against Shadows last night. He had the nerve to ask me that Ruxana could follow him during the next night to confirm his innocence - as if Ruxana wasn't the last person I'd trust to tell the truth! Ruxana might be a tracker, but she sure as hell isn't working for the Town. I got a message that Ruxana was seen targetting Petr last night, and another message that said Ruxana had told that person she would track Boris. So she is definitely spreading lies around. Not to forget the fact that she ousted a Mafia member, yet still lives today! Today, I for one will vote either Denis or Ruxana. You are free to make up your own minds, of course, but I strongly feel we will nail a scum if we vote either of the two.
  19. The party carry the ladders back to the middle tree on the left, and sure enough, as Jess climbs up to check the branches, she gets a rotten apple smashed at her face. Much to her surprise, she sees the Autumn Dryad accompanied by three little bear-like creatures, and all four are leering at her. Infuriated, Jess shakes the branches and they all fall tumbling down. That was absolutely abyssmal, I've never felt myself more helpless. I do believe whatever spell came down that fireplace was the cause of this. I fear the same fate has befallen my relatives, so we must locate them as soon as possible. I know this isn't what you signed up for, but will you help me?" The wizard pleads for help. What will the party do?
  21. The party checks the barrels and crates at the entrance, but they find no crown-insignia on them. The barrels seem to contain liquids and grain, while opening the crates would require force that would surely attract attention, so they decide against doing that. There are literally hundreds of crates in the warehouse, anyway, so they couldn't possibly check all their contents. Having found nothing useful, the party turns to search the first aisle. At first sight, the aisle is empty, but as they start looking through the sides of the crates, they hear frantic peeping sounds. A pack of cat-sized rats approach them with hunger gleaming in their eyes. PREPARE FOR BATTLE! 22. Here we go, letting Ruxana off the hook... But despite these heavy losses - and in Stanislav's case it truly was heavy, since he was our Town Inventor - we have unveiled two more Mafia members thanks to Stan's last minute reveal to me. I can't help but be partially to blame for Stan's death, because I revealed his night action to the other person now confirmed to be Mafia. The other person has been very passive-aggressive, yet because of his silence, he has flown under the radar. The two people in question are Denis (def) and Dmitri (Dragonator). Our Inventor Stanislav pointed them to me saying he is 100% certain of it, and bearing the guilt of not trusting him earlier I must trust him now. Not quite the information you wanted to hear, huh?

The Party Leader must decide who gets to eat this apple in turn. The Autumn Dryad switches her hiding place from the first tree to the right, snickering nastily as the pretty apple tree withers.
