  1. Note to especially the newer players: you can only get chosen into one quest at a time (since your character cannot physically be in two places at the same time), so there is no need to remove your sign-ups from other quests once you get accepted into one. So don't worry, you are not taking anyone's place by signing into several quests.
  2. A soldier of the Town Watch marches into Heroica Hall and puts a new list under the pitch for Quest#6. Heroes chosen to participate on Quest#6: WANTED! Donny Dozenhands ~ En Sabah Nur, Level 1 Mage (Jebediahs) *Party Leader* ~ Skrall, Level 1 Ranger (Waterbrick Down) ~ Haldor Skovgaard, Level 1 Cleric (Scorpiox) These three were instructed to arrive to the Town Watch Barracks in a few days.
  3. Sorry! I just hope my finger pointing at you did not get forgotten because of all this hassle at the medicine counter.
  4. Ellaria evaluated the situation. "Hmm, since everyone has relatively high health, I guess I will add my humble strike into the battle. At least I cannot be harmed by the rabid hounds' poisonous bites." Ellaria attacks Rabid Guard Hound B from the front row.
  5. Day One, Shift One: 1. Peach Cobbler Draxia 2. Sugar Pill 3. Black Beauties 4. Uppers 5. Downers Pandoo 6. Blue Bennies Sunny Day 7. The Big Fat Pill Kelly 8. Magic Beans Shalonda Cunningham 9. Bug Dust Ali "Periscope" Perry 10. Powdered Rhino Horn
  6. Oooohh!!! Crepes! These are sure to pick me up after that dreadful night I had! Of course I'll take one. I can't believe I sat on a broom during the game of Chutes and Ladders... Anyway, since I had ample time during the night, I started thinking these compulsions that some patients have had - repeating words, claiming innocence, and now Heng's unrequited affection towards Shalonda. Could some or all of these be mere lies? I'm most suspicious about Heng Lewley, because I talked to Bell Bastage yesterday, and I know what Heng's medicine was supposed to do. Where did this side-effect come from, then? This might sound familiar to some of you, but Bell told me yesterday that if she gets killed today, Heng might have something to do with it. I know it was just a suspicion on her part, but she thought Heng was playing her. I'm sorry I can't reveal more without revealing the effects of certain meds, but I'm now looking for more information about Heng. *bites nails*
  7. Ellaria smiles sheepishly. "Oh, it is quite alright, Mr. Val... eh, Tarn. I am satisfied just to be on this adventure. I did not think I could be as much use as I have been, but now I am glad I read all those books." "I'm ready to face whatever barked at us."
  8. As a kid, I also found a black octopus from a playing ground. That same octopus is still part of my collection to this very day. I wonder why some kids have decided to abandon their octopi, out of all possible LEGO pieces?
  9. I'll take your offer on the Chutes and Ladders, Shalonda, since I can't get any sleep... My damn nerves... I can't rid the feeling that any moment now someone will jump at me to cut me to pieces. *blink* *blink* Shalonda, what are you...? AAAAHHHH!!! I didn't know your version of Chutes and Ladders involved trying to cram actual ladders up my chute!!!
  10. No, since non-elemental attacks aren't especially effective against any type of enemy. As for your example, undead beasts would be immune to non-elemental attacks but especially vulnerable to fire, ice and light. Healing would also damage them.
  11. ~Note: The first post has been updated with lists of people accepted into the quests #4 and #7. There are two open quests remaining at this time.~
  12. Ellaria wiped the sweat from her forehead. "Phew, that was a tough one! I seriously hope other monsters in this cavern are not that menacing. I will of course heal you at the cost of an ether, Hoke, but I have to wonder how the skeleton managed to hurt you so badly despite your shield? It was only Level 4..." Ellaria turned to Alexis. "I will naturally heal you as well." Ellaria started to chant a silent hymn, and pale green light lit up in her hands. She ran the hands across Hoke and Alexis' wounds, and restored them to full health, losing 2 ether in the process. She now had 3/6 ether remaining, since she had used up one during the battle.
  13. Yes. All types of healing will have a reversed effect on an undead. Nice idea! For now, it's up to you to make sure your attacks are calculated correctly, though. Light element is especially effective against the undead, so it will deal double damage. Other elements and healing will cause normal damage, and non-elemental attacks have no effect at all. Hope this clears the issue once and for all.
  14. Have you not been following the discussion today? It is most likely that Zed is the neutral Serial Killer, because of his choice of weapon and the fact that everybody are more than happy to vote for him.
  15. It's a done deal, really. If you don't turn out as either scum or a serial killer tomorrow, Zed, you can color me totally and utterly surprised. Plus I will have a nervous breakdown like you've never seen before. Vote: Zed "Lumpy" Furby (Zepher)
  16. But remember that at this point there are only five scum, and if Zed really is the Serial Killer we can take him out of the equation today. That means the scum won't have a chance to block, steal or hog all of the good pills. We still have the numbers on our side. I'm sure many of us are compiling medicine lists right as we speak, so don't be afraid to share the lists with people you think you can trust. We won't win this game for the town if we keep everything to ourselves.
  17. I tried it today, but it didn't really fit. The only way you could put it on an ogre was so that it's other eye was covered by the hair...
  18. Ellaria couldn't help but to shake her head as her companions fumbled to get ready for another round of battling. "Oh my... Did none of you read the 'Aspiring Hero's Guidebook' when you joined Heroica? What about 'Zero To Hero' by H. Ercules? What about 'Heroics 101'? I read them all..."
  19. ~More changes to the sign-ups! Quests#4 and #7 will close on Monday, the 19th, while Quest#6 will close on Wednesday the 21st.~
  20. I wouldn't blindly trust Boo even if Zed turns out to be a killer, since all he did was went along with what Shalonda told us. What better way to make yourself look innocent in the eyes of the Town, eh? I am still unsure whether there are fixed night actions or not, but I'm keeping both options open. Huzzah, Officer Day is back on the track! There's nothing like a good ol' murder to get your blood pumpin' and braincells workin'! AAAHHH!! Did I just rejoice over someone's death?!
  21. Yes, that Santa fellow... Wonder why I didn't remember that? I saw the records of the case back when I was still on active duty, after all...
  22. Exactly! I'm no doctor, but I do know a gunblade isn't exactly a surgical tool. Aaahh!! My nerves are killing me! Did we really nail a scum this early?!
  23. A killing ability is always transferred to another member of the scum, if there is only one killer among them. This is basic knowledge, you should know that!
  24. Nice try. First you say you will not use your acclaimed not-so-protective skill again, and then you say you should not be voted out because you could be helpful. Excuse me for not believing a diddly squat of what you said. Two people saw you kill last night. If for some reason you turn out a townie, we can turn a discerning eye on those people, but I highly doubt scum would try to frame an innocent person this early in this crazy game. Your days are numbered, Zed, and the number is zero.
  25. Ellaria is confused. "Where did you get that idea? Your elemental spells and my healing are the only things that can harm an undead. No normal attacks work. Please, Althior, use an elemental spell instead!"
