  1. I already explained that I at one point voted for Fitzwilliam on Day One because the vote on LePlot wasn't going anywhere and I found Patrick's behaviour uppity and arrogant, and to my knowledge then he was the one with the most votes. As a virgin with no contacts to anyone I had no way of knowing what his alliance was then, and he hadn't even claimed his role before that (which is why I changed my vote away from him). To my experience the best way to get people talking is to vote for them - now is that strategy "stupid, illogical and scummy" as well, like all of my other strategies? You're grasping at straws by going back on that case, really since Fitzwilliam was never that close to being convicted in the first place. And remember, even if I was a cultist, I would not have known if Patrick was a virgin or not at that time. Is that answer enough for you, or do you want to repeat yesterday by voting for me?
  2. I don't believe in that theory either, Nadir, but that's not saying much because I'm involved in it... Anyway, we wasted enough time with Mehmet and Patrick fighting, let's not repeat it with Mehmet and Nadir. We should start looking into the more quiet, non-chalant people such as William Fitzpatrick and Johnson Cox, who comment enough to be counted for their presence, but do not actively voice out their opinions.
  3. Hello? What happened to not voting for the claimed virgin?! I guess I'll just shut up now so I don't give Huge Anus more reasons to find me inexplicably scummy...
  4. The Shipwreck Shore is full of holes. The sun is already sinking towards the horizon, and the light is quickly fading. The men of the party are watching as the weary Cinna drags her shovel to the last remaining batch of sand on the beach. They've found scorpions, scarabs, crabs and ants along with assorted junk from the beach, but not a single seashell with a black pearl. Hope is diminishing. Did they forget to take something into consideration? Have they overlooked something? Thothwick, Thormanil and Bartholomew walk over to Cinna to watch her dig for the last time. Sand... sand... more sand... nothing but sand. Cinna throws the shovel aside and drops to her knees. Ranger Docken puts a hand on her shoulder. Only the crashing of the waves and the moans of the feverish Bluto can be heard on the darkening beach. What would the party do now? 5. I feel so left out... Well, I guess you got everything covered without my input.
  6. Not that I know anything about this, but couldn't the protector be blocked by the cultists? That would also mean that the cultists know more than they should...
  7. Cinna's shovel hits something hard. She hits the shovel down again, and something smashes. There are shards of glass among the sand along with a tattered note. It looks like there was a message in a bottle buried there. Cinna picks up the note and reads it. 8. Phew! I'm so relieved yesterday took a turn to the right direction! I'm also surprised to see myself still alive, but I had a hunch it was going to be either me or Patrick who'd get sacrificed. At least we now know that Patrick was telling the truth all along, even if he was acting all high and mighty about it. I feel confident that we innocents stand on a firmer ground this morning, all in all. Mehmet, what exactly are you doing buried in the sand? And with a rack bigger than mine...

  11. OoC: It's been well over 24 hours, so I'm continuing the battle without Khorne or FFBurger's input. Don't abandon us, guys! 12. Don't be so hard on yourself. At least you saw the quest to the end, and actively updated it. Like I said, there's nothing wrong with your hosting (after you got the hang of it), the problems were mostly on the items. This should be a lesson to all QMs: if you are unsure on how to create balanced items, just use the pre-created ones. There's no need to "invent the wheel again", so to speak.
  13. Results of Round Three of the Volt Ant Battle: >Cinna vs. Volt Ant B - Hit Thothwick vs. Volt Ant B - Special Damage Thormanil (Dull Greataxe) vs. Volt Ant B - Shield (Frenzy) >Bartholomew vs. Volt Ant C - Damage Hoptet vs. Volt Ant B - Hit The battle goes on. Cinna is on a roll, as she once again scores a hit on the other Volt Ant for 17 damage. Thotwick gets stung by a paralyzing sting, and he suffers the loss of 7 health and gets stunned for the next round. Thormanil howls in a frenzy, and swings his axe in a wide arch, hitting both ants for 17 damage. The other ant tries to sneak on Bartholomew, but it is too scared to face The Hat. Hoptet defeats the second Volt Ant with a bludgeoning strike of his staff. Only one enemy remains, so the battle continues automatically. Thormanil gets an especially effective hit on the ant, causing 23 damage. Bartholomew takes out the bug with a swift shot. Hoptet conjures up the healing roots of life once again to replenish everyone's health. Thothwick recovers from his stunned status and retrieves his shuriken. THE BATTLE IS VICTORIOUS! 14. I just grabbed the new Finnish LEGO consumer catalogue from the store (along with a couple of freshly released sets... ), and there the Series 7 was marked as being released in June (and Friends in March). But on the other hand we always get the coolest stuff late (or not at all since we don't have a Lego Store) here in Finland.
  15. Ellaria sees Alf go down as she finishes off the charmer, but on the other hand now only one enemy remains, so she doesn't fret. She just pushes on, attacking the Criminal Thug B from the front row.
  16. Ellaria falls to the ground from the impact of the thug's strike. She checks her wounds, but decides that they're not severe enough to need healing just yet. There'd be time to do that after the battle was over. She then turns to the Criminal Charmer, attacking her from the front row. She hopes her clerical resistance would serve her well...
  17. Thothwick mugs the third Volt Ant for 32 damage, pilfering 32 gold at the same time. Thormanil swings his huge axe but misses. Bartholomew shoots three arrows into the air, hitting all enemies for 20 damage, defeating the first Volt Ant. Hoptet calls forth the roots of life again, but the party is at full health already. 18. Marking the Favoured is not an attack, just a chance for the hunter to change the type of the favoured enemy. The game would be pretty much broken if the players could suddenly deal 666 damage to an enemy... Honestly, Bricksandparts, I feel intimidated to even look at your quest anymore. It's not that you aren't doing a good job hosting, but all the items you have created seem very overpowered. I've talked to you about this already, so I won't interfere anymore. If the players start complaining, I will have to butt in again, though...
  19. OoC: Any enemy lower than level 15 is affected by your hat. I should've thought about the item more thoroughly while creating it. I hope you don't mind if I one day change the way it works... Results of Round One of the Volt Ant Battle: >Cinna vs. Volt Ant A - Hit >Thothwick (Shuriken) vs. Volt Ant A - Hit Thormanil (Dull Greataxe) vs. Volt Ant B - Special Damage >Bartholomew vs. Volt Ant C - Damage >Hoptet vs. Volt Ant B - Shield (Roots of Life) The battle begins. Cinna sends her broomstick against the first Volt Ant, causing 17 damage. Thothwick throws his shuriken after the broomstick, dealing an additional 13 damage. Thormanil receives a paralyzing sting from the second Volt Ant, suffering the loss of 7 health and getting stunned for the next round. The third ant shies away from attacking Bartholomew thanks to his intimidating hat. 20. "Haha, take that!" Ellaria shouts as she knocks out the thug with her staff. She then moves on to attack Criminal Thug B from the front row.
  21. Thanks for the review! I agree that this set is not as appealing as the Camper was. In fact, I'm only interested in the female fig with her new torso and what I believe a new faceprint as well (or at least new to this year, if not unique). I guess I'll just order her separately from Bricklink, since I don't need the other parts, really...
  22. As Cinna hits her shovel to the sand for the umpteenth time, the air suddenly electrifies. Three sizzling and sparkling ants crawl out of the whole that Cinna dug, and attack the party. 24. At least I don't have any night actions, not one-off or otherwise. I'm so pure that I stay in bed all night alone with my hands on top of my blanket. I find it funny how people are debating on how the "Mirror Cloak of Eternal Wonders and Confusion " works exactly, when nobody really has a clue except the one who owns it (if it indeed exists). I doubt our hosts would pile every possible effect on a single action, though...
