I'm aware, and relieved. But I don't think Melaena would have approached Mehmet with that crazy-megablocks story of hers if I hadn't caused a ruckus and made people look into other options. We'll never know. I've got to say, though, that if Melaena really turns out to be a cultist, I will have to apologize to Mehmet and his allies for mistrusting them with such an intensity. It's become clear now that the only way we can win this thing is by organization, even at the risk that the cultists may be able to weasel in. But I'm not counting my chickens before they hatch, yet. The day's still not over, and Melaena has not yet been confirmed as a cultist.

"That's plenty enough, milady", Ellaria whispers to her goddess. "You're being too gracious...." Ellaria attacks the blinded Criminal Thug A from the front row again.

If you're not with us then you're against us... Is that how it's going to go down? I do have to wonder how you've all been able to verify each other in just one night? And you had 11 people on your list yesterday, so if they did not run to you then how did it happened? Did you do a "zepher" and send 11 random people a message to trust you? I'm not calling anyone stupid, I'm calling people gullible. There's a difference. Of course I am! I even said as much! If you were a virgin with the most votes on you, would you just lay down and accept your fate? I'm playing this game for the innocents, not for myself. Sure, I've not made any alliances yet, but I've read too many books about people who've trusted someone too early and paid it for their lives, and I can relate to those characters very closely. It has never been my intention to stir up confusion, Mehmet's done most of that all by himself. I don't think my votes have been any more erratic than anyone else's - save for my first vote yesterday. I've never voted for anyone who I did not agree could be guilty (although admittedly that's just about everyone at this point). So I still don't know what I'm doing that's so scummy and wrong and crazy. I might've acted overly cautious and doubtful when it comes to trusting people, but that's just who I've become with my experience.
-
I'm sorry, I've learned better than to trust anyone this early in the process, Mehmet. That might make me a negative nancy for doubting everything, but on the other hand I've consistedly said that all options need to be held open until we know better. And seriously, in your opinion I should've just started privately discussing my virginity with some people, hoping that they would rise to defend me? No, unlike you I'm without allies in this game of life. There was nobody to turn to, so I had to reveal my virginity to the public. I simply had no other option, not with nine votes already against me. Haha, as if that was how it went! Do you honestly expect me to stick to my vote even though almost nobody else supports it, even if it would cost my life? People seem keen to verify your trustworthiness first before getting rid of you, even though I'm still of the opinion that we'd be better off with you dead. But this is not a single-player game, and I'm obviously not the one calling the shots here, so I have to go with the second-best option. I'm really curious; in case you're innocent, how exactly are you planning to protect yourself from conversion, if someone has that kind of an ability?

Giving thanks to her goddess for coming to their aid, Ellaria attacks Criminal Thug A again from the back row.
-
Thank you, Nadir. Seriously. I haven't really taken notice of Melaena before now, but what you and Patrick say makes sense. And at this point, I'm willing to vote just about anyone if I can survive this mess and prove my virginity, I have no trouble admitting that. Unvote: Mehmet Attabar (Hinckley) Vote: Melaena Stools (CallMePieOrDie) Now we'll just have to wait for Melaena announce that she's a virgin, too...
-
And here's your avatar in the correct size, The WarMocer. Your character is also missing his age.

That's not how it went down. First of all, I wasn't even around when Hugh first posted his "list of evidence", and by the time I returned and saw it, nine people had voted for me. That's when I started defending myself, right at the time when Hugh said "It seems Jennifer is listening in right now, I wonder what excuses she will make up then to combat my attack on her". He was hungry for my blood, for some reason. With an attitude like that, I felt like I was already being tied down and dragged towards the statue. What else could I have said or done but to reveal my virginity to the public and start defending myself? If I had been a normal vanilla townie, I would've settled for "you're making a mistake, but you'll see it tomorrow", but now the situation is different. If I'm convicted, the cultists will have gotten rid of a third virgin in a row - and apparently it's a chance people like Fitzpatrick and Mustafa are willing to take. I've fought now, and nobody can deny that. It seems less and less possible that Mehmet will be convicted instead of me, so I'm currently searching for other options to vote for - all the while not forgetting my reasons for voting Mehmet in the first place. If there's some other person that as many of us as it takes to convict could agree upon, I'd be relieved as heck. I just don't want to give the cultists the satisfaction of seeing me sacrificed.
-
I don't even know what that role is, since Mehmet won't tell us! He just said it was "cool" or something, and you are convinced that it must be something we can't live without. That's the biggest problem with someone holding all the cards, we can only choose from the options he gives us. Can't you guys see how twisted this situation is?
-
But the Transfiguration Classroom is still available...
-
We did not know anything, we just heard what Mehmet told us. I'm sorry but I can't be as trusting as you. Eccentric? Yes, I probably would have voted for him in that case. But Superman's fate was in Mehmet's hands all that time, not mine. And even Mehmet says he doesn't know if Superman is lying or not. So of course Superman stank as a cultist to me, and felt like a viable option for a lynching. The nature of this game of life is that the crowd won't know the absolute truth about anyone until he or she is lynched. Now it boils down to who do you want to test out? It's evident that somebody needs to go into the "stone oven", but does it really have to be me, a virgin?
-
Thanks, more insults my way is exactly what I need now. I'd understand the accusations for being a hypocrite IF Superman actually had a name. But no, he's just a nickname to an anonymous person. At the time I expressed my mistrust in someone who claims to have some important night action but forgets to send it in. At no point did I know who this Superman is or whether he actually exists or not, so you can't really accuse me for trying to get rid of him. You and I both know that Mehmet is a special case. He can get away with just about anything because he's proven to be a smart strategist and someone people trust without caution. I'm not that clever, as you guys repeatedly remind me. Do you really think I'm trying to mesmerize you with some sort of surreal scum tactic? Honestly? Again with the "no offense, but you suck" -trashtalk. Do you guys really take that much joy in kicking people while they're down? Well, that's what Is and Ossie told us in the beginning of the day, weren't you listening? Only people who have had "activity in the night" (ie. sex) have night actions.
-
I have to agree with this, but on the other hand Mellifluous voted for Mehmet, which would not make sense if both of them were cultists. But I will stand-by this situation and change my vote if Mellifluous starts gaining more votes - if for no other reason than that I need to survive for the innocents' sake. I'm surely a goner in a night or two, but at least the cultists wouldn't be able to get me killed for free. What, so now I'm a cultist because I do not appreciate trash talk being flung my way? Besides, in my own opinion I remained reasonably calm throughout Hugh's slur-fest. My frustration rouse more from people twisting my words to suit their own suspicions.
-
I'm just worn out for hearing how stupid, illogical, worhtless and unhelpful I've been this whole day. I hope you can find yourself able to forgive me...
-
Of course I'm squirming! I'm a virgin, I'm trying to survive here like I'm supposed to! But if you want to hand the victory over to the cultists, they will no doubt gladly accept it. What do you know about Goodenarde's private efforts? And again, it has only been one night, he has been able to find one virgin, so what means does he have to find anyone trustworthy? You are right in that he might just be lying his teeth off to save himself, but why do you go after him so fervently? Why do you risk taking out what could be our real chance of collaboration? Seriously, I've been nothing but insulted and offended this whole day, so excuse me for being exhausted. You are just being plain ignorant, all of you. You rather trust Mehmet blindly no matter what he says, even though he is responsible for convicting a virgin yesterday in circumstances that are more than dubious, ADDED to the fact that someone apparently found him to be a cultist. I feel like I'm talking to a brick wall. I personally have nothing to lose, that's why I've voiced out my opinions today, but convicting me would be a great mistake from the innocents' part. The cultists now know that I'm a virgin, so all they need to do is feed fuel to the fire and spare themselves the bother to kill me at night. You guys are playing right in the cultists hand now, I can't emphasize that enough! How is it a safer bet, exactly? You voted for me, as did nine other people! I'm being lynched here, and tomorrow you will realize what a horrible mistake you did! All I can do now is plead to the common sense of people. Don't you want to defeat the cultists?! Don't you want to survive?! I'm still trying to look back on today and see what it is that I said or did that was so wrong, but all I see is Hugh's list which greatly exaggerates my actions. I've voted for people yesterday, I've presented my own theories and I've doubted people's trustworthiness, that's what I've done. I wasn't part of the group that convicted a virgin yesterday, I didn't reveal my role to anyone in private, and I certainly haven't called people names or irritated them. The only option I see here is that I actually hit home by accusing Mehmet, and now he and his allies want me out of this game... of life. And the rest of you innocents are ignorant enough to let them do that.
-
You do realize that Goodenarde cannot trust anyone except the person he found out to be a virgin, yet? It's only been one night, so if he takes a risk and spills his beans to the wrong person, he's a goner and his ability with him. That's exactly why I haven't talked to almost anyone in private yet, at least not discussing tactics. I just cannot trust anyone yet, although I do have inklings on who might be innocent and who might not. Simply put, you can't encourage Goodenarde to trust someone at random. Doing so makes you look like one of the people who has trusted Mehmet without thinking twice about it... Oh god, I fear this camp is so screwed already...
-
Yes, you were loud and active, but you were aggressive and patronizing as well, which struck to me as scummy behaviour. You've since mended your ways so my attention was drawn away from you. But it was you who brought forth the news that Mehmet had been found a cultist. Why did you do that, if you didn't want people to react to it? I know what excuses and theories Mehmet posted to counter that investigation, but they did not convince me. I'm surprised so many of you are convinced. Mirror cloak protection that makes all actions look the opposite of what they are? Really?! So in your opinion I should just succumb to my fate without saying anything, and let the scum take another step towards victory without the innocents being aware? I wouldn't have revealed my role if I didn't have almost half of the people voting for me. Of course my claim cannot be verified today without convicting me, but just think about it: Do you want to convict a person who claims to be a virgin, without any investigation either for or against that claim? OR Do you want to convict a person who doesn't claim any role, but an investigation has found them a cultist? There's always the option of convicting someone else, but all the other options seem to be the quiet people, and that's really playing hit and miss if you ask me. Just think about the odds, please, and make the sensible choice!
-
I thank you for unvoting me, but I don't know what makes my strategies so bad? It's not like I can be held responsible for killing either Percy or Father Tomato... I did vote for you yesterday, and sorry if you still hold a grudge over that, but nobody is cleared as an innocent for me yet. What makes me voting for people worse than other people's votes, then? I still see this mass of votes against me as a way to try to steer attention away from Mehmet. If he's not a cultist, then at least the cultists are using him and are seeing him as too valuable to waste. What better way to influence the crowd than via a puppet that can be thrown under the bus when things get heated? Like I said, I don't know if Mehmet is a cultist, just like I don't know that about anyone, but for now I'm inclined to believe he is. Even that "mirror cloak" is something he could've very well made up, since nobody else has said such a thing even exists.
-
None of that's concrete evidence. - I've voted for people and changed my vote, but so have almost everyone else in this game. - I've talked to different people in different tones, but you're really not the one to talk about a proper way to address people. - I still don't like how yesterday ended, but I really could not affect it. I will say this one last time: I was not around when the day ended. - I voted for Mehmet because an investigation showed him to be a cultist, and we cannot know if the investigation was right until we convict either him or the supposed "investigator". - You called me all sorts of names and then threw some more slurs for not being fast enough to respond to your every insult. - I'm trying to keep all options open and not blindly trust Mehmet or any of his supposed allies. A condemning investigation claim on the other hand is serious, and ignoring that has rarely resulted in anything good. I still want to appeal to those who really are innocent: If you lynch me today, you will give the cultists a third virgin sacrifice, and let them be that much closer to winning. I would not be this desperate to survive if it wasn't for this fact. On the other hand, you will not learn anything new by lynching me, and tomorrow you will be even more confused as to who is speaking the truth and who isn't. Is that really a situation you want to be in? Do you guys even want the innocents to win? We cannot win if we keep doing the cultists' job for them and convict virgins day after day.
-
But I'm not a cultist! You don't have a single concrete evidence to back up your claim, yet you still treat me like turd. Well, karma's a bitch as you will come to see...
-
For cripes sakes, I don't even know who this Superman is or even if he really exists! So how could I want to get rid of him? I merely expressed that I did not trust Mehmet's supposed ally by face value. Don't you realize that even if Mehmet is innocent, not all 13 of his contacts can be innocent too? If he's not lying, somebody's lying to him for sure, that's why there's mixed results and confusing things going on. This game is not won by voting out all the people who are NOT in contact with Mehmet. Your "line of defence" is full of holes, mark my words. Hugh, you blabber so much that I don't even have time to "address your points". Besides, if you coat them with slurs and filth, how can you expect me to have a civilized conversation with you?
-
You are a cruel and unreasonable man, Huge Anus. I can't believe innocent people are following anything you say.
-
And you calling me crazy? You seem to be so conviced that I'm a cultist that nothing I say or do will make you think otherwise. I doubt you'll even believe it tomorrow when the statue will announce my purity... I just want to add that although Mehmet is not leading the vote against me (I'm very aware that you are, since you've emphasized it every step of the way), voting me out is actually a pro-Mehmet move. I'm the only one who actually rose to oppose him and his sovereignity, so of course I'm getting all the ire on me. But just ask yourselves, if I really was a cultist, would I be putting myself on the line, practically voting first on both days? By being vocal about things and making risky moves? No, I'd be lurking in the shadows along with the rest of the cult. This is only the second day of this ordeal and the cult is doing so well, so if I was a cultist I would've kept my mouth shut.
