Just got my package with some Decool stuff in it! Wanted to make some pictures for y'all but all the batteries went dead :-( Anyway, i've got the Phoenix wave, and with a few minor scratches here and there they seem pretty ok to me. Phoenix' print is slightly off, but it doesn't really annoy me (maybe i'll order her once more). The face of Cap. America is a little bit too low (but i don't need him, having the real one), but the Joker is the one really misprinted. His mouth is gone. Since, i don't collect DC stuff i don't care about it either. I also ordered the Fantastic Four wave, and all the printings were topnotch. The face of Reid Richards isn't really lego-style imo, so i'll make sure i will replace it. The thing is also not to my liking, but i've ordered also the bigfig Thing (which is awesome btw) so my FF is complete. The pain of waiting for TLC to produce the FF is now reduced to a minimum. Maybe the torso of the minifig Thing could come in handy for customising? (Absorbing man?) Then i also got the bigfigs. I didn't know i'd be really happy with a red and grey Hulk. I thought i didn't need them at first, but my girlfriend insisted and the truth is (because she's always right) i need them in my life. Bigfig Thing is also a real present. I don't know why i need a red or white trousers Thing, but i definitely needed the blue trousers Thing. Well done Decool!

A lizard bigfig doesn't make sense at all. Just like Colossus shouldn't be a bigfig, and Venom either. Don't know why they were bigfigs in the game. A bigfig Kingpin, Juggernaut or Rhino? Now, that i'll understand (and applaud to).

and maybe a head from Hero's Factory? I believe their minifigs have colored plain heads beneath their helmets. Don''t know if it comes in this color though

Ofcourse! I just ordered my first batch last week. Trying to find out how those knockoffs will work for me. The more pics, the better i think. Turbo1013 thanks for the pictures! I'm not into clones, but like the sw alien so i'll be waiting for a decent set then.

It does work in Lego (hence the licensed sets) and it does work in real life (if you're open to it).

Does Decool also make bootleg star wars figs? For example the new Ithorian or a Jawa :-)

You can try to make a Kitik Keek'Kak like i drew in this Cuusoo project. The head is from Toy Story (Twitch) but it's green, i'm not sure if they have those pieces for his arms in green too? The underpart is just a slopebrick like they use for skirts.

The fact that Falcon has a one-sided head is plus to me. I hate his hair. It's a black superhero, not an indian. Now i can leave his hair off, if i buy this set.

They also can go back in time even more and have dinosaur tribes? Who doesnt love dinosaurs? Or underworld tribes like seethrough salamanders, pink earthworms and fleshcolored moles :-)

A lot of people also don't have the money to buy all those sets. Especially the bigger and exclusive or ucs sets contain exclusive minifigs. So to complete your minifigcollection some folks need to buy knockoffs. Even bricklink can be pretty expensive. A superheroes CMF will ease the pain of not getting everybody imho. And is great way of making characters that won't fit in sets. A way that Lego also can use is through polybags. A small build with a nice minifig. That would also be nice for kids, because they can finally buy something with their allowance money without having to save first for a couple of weeks

Bummer! But since you have to construct lego minifigs, aren't they technically constructions? Lawyers, go help Lego!

Maybe it's a sign on the wall for Lego to expand the variety in minifigures (especially in the licensed themes) and sell them cmf-wise in bags or small boxes. Now people need to buy those knockoffs because those characters they want aren't made by TLC and there's a real uncertainty if Lego will produce them at all. If Lego would produce single minifigs, people will have hope that TLC might produce the characters they yearn for and thus stop buying knockoffs.

Does Decool and/or Sheng yuan have a website where you can see their products?

My guess would be red, golden and black. And would the questionmark figure be a Tony Stark to fit in him? Or is that just wishfull thinking. There does seem a pattern of 6 minifigs and then a 3 color variation bigfig.

just ordered a few knockoffs. I'm really curious if they can please me. And off course, with the whole discussion about marvel/fox and the f.f. being merchandise-outcasts, a chance to collect "lego" fantastic four. Now i only have to wait (15 til 60 days :-s)...

If the bigfig Thing is coming out by Decool i think it's a probability there will be more bigfigdesigns in the future (could it be that they've used the designs of Warsman for the bigfigs?). If they're doing more bigfigs i'll keep my fingers crossed for a juggernaut and a classic rhino! By the way, if the bigfig thing is out, does that mean that Bullseye and Punisher also are for sale?

We probably see Wuher, Evazan and Ponda Baba in a new cantina in 2020! Or maybe they will be kind enough to make a small battlepack with cantinacustomers? Ponda Baba doesnt need to be a new mold by the way, why not just a printed head? Anyway, i really want that Hammerhead, but i'll wait til that starship is on sale. I don't need al those red and white bricks, and i most definitely don't need an ugly Jek (who is he anyway?). Or i just might bl Hammerhead and the protocol droid.
