Well I finally got this set for an almost reasonable price ($24 you nosy people)...Like I figured from the pic, not much to it, some spare parts, a few more lt grey than I was expecting and the flat piece the figures are flung from is always a rare and useful addittion to my castle building parts.. I caved eventually because I get sick of looking at sets I don't heve in my old mags....Well that's about it... God Bless, Nathan

Joker takes his chance photo oppurtunity with Luke too seriously...

Don't wave that glo stick around, I can't see how my new suit looks...

I had to go with Sir Dillon as well... God Bless, Nathan

Bley (new grey) simply does not look like stone/nature, it resembles metal... as such I find it useless for castles and scenery (my two primary building areas). You also can't mix the two as it makes the old greys look yellow in comparison. And that is before you consider the parts selection available in each, jrized parts in bley, more bricks/plates/and useful mods in old grey... Rant over, God Bless, Nathan

I still don't particularly like the back, but the sides and front are wonderful! Keep up the great work and God Bless, Nathan

I haven't tried to build a large ship, but judging from how few MOCers can carry them off perfectly it must be an incredibly difficult art. God Bless, Nathan

That just isn't good enough.... X-D ;-) God Bless, Nathan

People post brickshelf finds for discussion, similarly to Bruce on CC.... God Bless, Nathan

Not saying it applies in this case but it has been done... check some of the old Lugnet april 1st postings, the old grey castle tub was one of my faviourites... God Bless, Nathan

Very Nice! Without the torch this could be a microfig MOC (with a giant viking in some shots X-D ). It is good to see another practicer of the noble art of scenery building... God Bless, Nathan

Not to be a kill joy, but torture is alive and well in many parts of the world, most of this board's contributers just happen to inhabit the more free western world. On a completely different note, I wonder if Lego will start a series of 'themed' spring cleans like this? It still doesn't solve the bley issue, but some people might be glad to have them... God Bless, Nathan

No worries.. it's out of my price league as well if it is any consolation (though I got on e when it was first around...) God Bless, Nathan

it's funny how the recent drop in quality has made previously inferior old sets look more attractive... God Bless, Nathan

Fair point..but I prefer not to ;-) God Bless, Nathan

You're not implying he was dishonerably pushed are you, Mr Norro? I'll have to admit I don't follow that one... Nathan

One of the all time greats... as far as printed scenery goes. Pity the curve makes it irritating to connect multiple copies. God Bless, Nathan

I would go for fake as well, the torture chamber in what has the colourings of a 'good' castle...not to mention all the 'old' heraldy. Even if not, it is a return to KK1 not CC. This is an expanded King Leo's castle, no where near the glory days (flicks on light in secret study to illuminate wall of clippings labelled 'glory days' ala Mr. Incredible...) Ahh well... God Bless, Nathan

I'm going to be frank (who is he ;-) ) and admit I don't like the ship (something wrong with the height to length ratio...) but that said: I love the dock, so solid, sculpted, ralistic, and legoy all in one! Excellent work... all though, of course, it would be better as a Castle MOC... ;-) God Bless, Nathan

Not sure of this has been announced here... but the pic is so cool... so take a look. God Bless, Nathan

My personal faviourite is the black legs with red hips but these blue ones do annoy me... I change them out instantly... God Bless, Nathan

It's a very useful thing to do if you are adding new information/comment/perspective... so don't apolidgise. The 1996 NA catalogue in question isn't on peeron... God Bless, Nathan
