Like many graphics on their website/ pictures on publications I doubt this was done by someone with an intimate knowledge of Lego, more likely a contracted 'expert' thought it looked better that way and that kids wouldn't notice... God Bless, Nathan

I was thinking of a convertible cart versus todays convertible cars... God Bless, Nathan

Thanks for posting this, good to see that mountain from a different side. The Egypt model reminds me of a where's Wally/waldo scene, and I missed the JT (thanks Brick Miner). The cactus looks like it was made from green tyres, but a quick search of peeron shows no such piece... maybe one of those special ones? God Bless, Nathan

The year it was released all sets had a box size as conveint at time of production, the next year lego standardized across themes (ie $5 set as x dimensions, $20 has y dimensions) however more copies of Maiden's Cart were run off, but these were boxed according to the new standard. It is one of the few sets ever to have two box sizes... Hope that makes sense... God Bless, Nathan

Good point, not inventoried at peero yet, so I don't know... God Bless, Nathan

I really like the sunken nature of the traure chest, very well done. And the bridge's defects are great as well! God Bless, Nathan

Thanks much Sir Dillon! God Bless, Nathan

Only SW and HP to my knowledge (which is why I don't have any), but I would guess some Belville set had a few... To tie back into this MOC, that is where the nice pink parrot on top of the mountain comes from... God Bless, Nathan

Yes, but they are a different shade of black... God Bless, Nathan

Yes, I wish I had some... God Bless, Nathan

The treasure in the cave and spur on the beach are both great touches... God Bless, Nathan

North West, it's in the states so directions are all you need ; ) God Bless, Nathan

A lot of NBA eads are creeping into pirate MOCs... the hands (as noted) are the limiting factor. While I quite enjoy the odd MOC, I would hate it if lego gave up the yellow... what do you mean they have?! X-D ... I am a trad non-fleshie myself... God Bless, Nathan

This huge image looks great! It is from a recent convention... God Bless, Nathan (unwittingly continuing the Islander theme)

Those are both brilliant! Great find! God Bless, Nathan

Hey and welcome, Though don't let those.... [Rant removed as requested ;-) ] .... prevent you from building/collecting real castle! God Bless, Nathan

I like this a lot, has an 'easily adapted to castle feel' which I like in apirate MOC X-D... Those windows do distract the eye though... Thanks for sharing and God Bless, Nathan

I like the concept and the ladder. Foliage sticking out instead of down would add a lot to this MOC. Well done! God Bless, Nathan

I get most of my information from Lugnet... The two box sizes followed each other (a year apart) nd coincided with Lego's box size standardisation. The roof flipped back (early convertible) for playability, and is actually nicer than it looks... God Bless, Nathan

Very nice, I particuly like your use of the lime green (I think it looks great in tudor). Is the larger whole meant to make this area appear smaller? It seems from the pictures that these buildings are very small scale wise, pushing the boundaries of fig scale back to medieval dimensions ;-) ... Thanks for sharing and God Bless, Nathan

GRAVE STONE: Return of the Ghost Rider
Norro replied to WesternOutlaw's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
This is what I like about it... A few adaptions could take it either way; normal western town extender, slightly more ccreepy bandits hidepout, full fledged ghost town... God Bless, Nathan -
Flatfoot is the red one... (That's what I've always thought ;-) ). Here Lego were more inteligent than in the adventures line because you could easily duplicate the black gang member and keep only flatfoot as the leader. As a kid his gang consisted of one of the gambler, himself, and five or so of the black figure. Character wise I see him as rough, rckless, and relying on his face/reputation to subdue even without waving a gun about. He is obviously a real tough to lead a gang of three in which the other two appear smarter... The only problem is that character wise he dwaves the sheriff. He's going need a big possy.... God Bless, Nathan

I really like 6989 (even if it is a space set ;-) ), so when I saw this I thought it was brilliant. Apologies if this has been posted (didn't see it in a search...) God Bless, Nathan

Take a look at this... A bit tight...though I notice Castle gets a shelf... X-D God Bless, Nathan

So I thought I'd upgrade one of my Eldorado Fortresses
Norro replied to Landlubber's topic in Pirate MOCs
Impressive scale. Are those baseplates custom... they look quite nice, almost too nice ;-) . I think this MOC could benefit a lot from some scenery, and possibly a nice red roof for the goenor's quarters. Similar to the ITP except on this scale it would have to be a full slope based roof. I think this extra colour would add some more life to your MOC. Thanks so much for sharing and God Bless, Nathan
