  1. Assuming the changes were quality and you don't risk breaking arms, and they're nearly invisible would you be more open to it? Right now I'm thinking of doing something to the shoulders so they have more articulation, though making that 100% invisible would be pretty impossible. Making it mostly invisible could be done. A tiny bit more waist and leg articulation that's invisible might be possible without changing the minifigure's looks.
  2. Getting kind of sick of the limited range of motion of minifigures myself. I mean, there's so few options... But I wouldn't want them changing the look. I do wish though I could move those arms like... in more than 2 directions. And the legs.... I mean, some legs can't pose at all! Darn you short legs... you're why I can't buy Hobbit and LotR stuff!
  3. I like Dogpound and Fishface more than I thought I would. Except my Dogpound's printing seems a bit messy, it's got little streaks on his bigger arm going nowhere.
  4. I would really want a Jurassic Park theme... I kind of missed the Dino theme. I mean, I really wanted those Dinosaurs. However, everything else about the Dino sets sucked. Everything. So I could never pull the trigger with my limited funds. I'd love a way to get the Dinos again. Maybe in GOOD sets this time. However, with the failure of Dino maybe Lego will be offput to do a Jurassic Park lego theme. Maybe not since it's a movie. Who knows... Also... 2014. A long way off.
  5. The Bat and Tumbler, a bit too small. The Bat has... blue for absolutely no reason besides "We're Lego!"... The Tumbler, I'd like a black version. I really love the minifigures. The build is bleh. The cost should have been maybe $30-35 instead (I'd be fine with $40 if it was good).
  6. My problem with these is they seem massively overpriced. $10 for a single minifigure and a planet usable on basically nothing else, then a very few parts for a ship or something. Really, these seem like they should be $5. $6 on a day I'm feeling rich. (today is me complaining about prices day)
  7. I hope Zelda gets 10000 again. Looks like it'll happen. Even though I expect them to give the same excuse I think the more Zelda projects that pass the more they'll consider it. A Zelda set would sell awesomely IMO. Though... lets calculate the new molds they'd probably need. 1) Link's Hair/Hat. 2) Zelda's Hair/Crown stuff. 3) The Master Sword (probably with a colored handle too) 4) Ganondorf's Hair. 5) Any of Link's tools besides the bow and arrow basically... (Boomerangs, whatever). However, this might be skipable. 6) Link's Shield (though they could go cheapo on it and just print existing shields) That's a lot for a single set. Many would be unusable for anything else too. I don't know if any cuusoo has had a single new mold made specifically for it. I mean, looking at stuff like Minecraft there's nothing but existing stuff, just a few with a print...
  8. Any opinions on the best HAIR to use for Loki? His minifigure has that helmet which he doesn't use in real combat in the movies and I can't find a good slicked back hair alternative.
  9. I was considering buying this set... then realized I could get all of these for less (ones I happen to need :P): :/ really I can't get over the price for this set. Seems freakin' absolutely ridiculous no matter how I look at it. It should be 2/3rds the price max. XP Maybe not all are the most interesting builds :P but geeze. I guess it's because I'm a minifigure guy and the Arkham set has too many repeats...
  10. If you have to call it's pretty obvious what it's intended for IMO. Otherwise they'd have it fully functional in something like pick a brick.
  11. Wondering if anyone has any ideas. I don't like the official manhole cover in the TMNT set. I don't like any manhole cover I've made so far. Chances are I won't like yours either ;p. Idunno it's an annoying part I can't get right. But pretty key to the Turtles. I kind of wish there was a unique mold for it.
  12. I think some of their earlier projects, if changed a bit, would work now. Some of those things were decent ideas but too early. More computer integration in the form of something similar to Skylander could work very well.
  13. At which point it becomes something like "am I really willing to spend $20+ on each single minifigure?"...
  14. Do they not have this for America? Can't... navigate... can't understand...
  15. I'd be more excited but Lego video games evolve at a snail pace in terms of video games. Honestly, I've been sick of them for years. Tried to play them again recently, still almost exactly the same. Not bad but not that amazing.
  16. The Kraang droid minifigure is just awful. I don't know how they can go so wrong. It's the only bad minifigure in this theme so far. I'm also a bit disappointed that Dogpound isn't bigger. He really should have been one of their "macrofigs" like the Hulk. In the show he's HUGE.
  17. Con exclusives are freakin' evil. I'm talking going to war evil. Lets go to war with Lego. I'm sick of missing out because I don't go to a con and won't spend $200 for a single minifigure! Anyways, I think it would be cool if there was like a Technodrome set based on the original series. A huge set with all the main characters of the original series plus a few foot soldiers.
  18. I don't think most people would see race issues. I mean nobody has brought it up with the licensed themes. Nobody has brought it up with Friends. Literally nobody who's sane and nobody who's opinion should be cared about would even make there be a race issue. I mean, it's not that hard. Just if you have a cops and robbers set don't make all the robbers black and all the cops white. Lego has proven that the race issues aren't much of an issue anymore in most places. They could easily handle it. I mean yes, some people are bringing stuff up with Friends and stuff, but nobody is taking them seriously. They're not getting serious attention.
  19. This is an option now? Where?
  20. I'd make the switch and get rid of yellows and switch to all fleshies. Colorblind ain't the answer. Plus they don't work well together... I can't mix my Castle sets with my Super Heroes :/... I mean, these days there's absolutely zero reason to skirt the issue of skin colors. People have skin colors that are different, who freakin' cares anymore? Just throw them on all the figures, get rid of the yellow unnecessary crap and bblablabla. But mainly I want my figures to all be compatible. :P I could talk in depth about this issue and why yellows are no longer needed but I'm tired.
  21. Yeah the models often suck. I think the only model that's pretty darned good is the Baxter Stockman mech thing (and not the little stupid vehicles included with it). And yet, this still manages to be my favorite current lego franchise. :P I mean, I guess to me models aren't as important as minifigures. I could always build a better model (and plan to for these TMNT things). I can't very easily make a high quality minifigure for one that doens't exist or suck, though I want to get into minifigure customization when I have more time in my life. As it is I have almost no time to mess with all the Lego sets I buy, let alone even build unique ones. I'm kind of planning, when I get the time, to do a scene that elevates to different franchises. Starting in the sewers with the Ninja Turtles, to the streets with Marvel and DC, to the sky with Star Wars. I'm sure I'll fail though as I do not have the collection to muster up something like that. :(
  22. If I ran the Lego Group I would have all the freakin' Lego products I've ever wanted and then some! I could rule the WORLD!
  23. The modified 1x2 brick textured brick... man I wish I had more of those. They're perfect for the sewers. I also wish they came in some kind of reddish brown like stereotypical bricks too (the ones that come with TMNT sets are a bit too light IMO). I've begun drawing up some plans for my own small sewer build, but as usually I bet I won't have even HALF the needed bricks.
  24. I really really hate the look of those main dog guys? I don't know what he is. The lion? Idunno whatever that orange haired d00d is. I like all the other animations but those head molds just look funky to me.
  25. I think it's about time Lego started printing all around minifigure heads, probably the top too. I'm sick of this cutoff stuff. Heck, maybe Bane should have gotten a unique mask mold.
