Harry Potter: Wizard's Duel - Duelling Club
Walter Kovacs replied to ADHO15's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Round 2 Clen Vierno vs Frankfurt Flashburn Health - 3 Health - 3 Protego - 0 Low - 0 Low - 0 High - 1 Mid - 0 Low - 1 Silencio - 0 Mid - 1 High - 1 Low - 0 Health - 0 Health - 3 Feeling buyed by his successes in the first round, Clen prepared for another intense set of attacks and counters from Flashburn. "Are you ready?" Frankfurt asked, saluting with his wand. "Ready as I'll ever be" Clen answered. Expecting Franfurt to start fast, Clen raised a shield to ward off a particularly nasty curse to his ankles. Happy with the start, the Gryffindor tried his own curse towards Frankfurt's feet, but Frankfurt was too fast, and caught Clen in his cheek, stunning him slightly. Clen tried to recover, trying a hex to the midsection, but Frankfurts own hex was already upon him, knocking him off his feet. Attempting despatately to regain any sense of composure, he tried to silence the experienced duelist, but the Hufflepuff just knew far too much, and Clen relized just how overmatched he was as he drifted into unconsciousness. He opened his eyes to see a worried Frankfurt staring over him. "Did I win?" asked Clen hopefully. "No, but you showed a lot of promise in dueling me" answered Frankfurt. "With a little practice, and a tweak or two in strategy, I think you'll make a fine duelist someday." Winner: Frankfurt Flashburn. A valiant effort ceroknight, but Cornelius' experience was a bit too much. Without Natural Talent, you'd be heading into Round 3 tied at 2 - 2 right now. Update your profiles accordingly. -
Harry Potter: Wizard's Duel - Duelling Club

Round 1 Clen Vierno vs Frankfurt Flashburn Health - 5 Health - 5 High - 0 High - 1 Protego - 0 Mid - 0 Low - 0 Low - 1 Silencio - 1 Protego - 0 Mid - 1 High - 0 Health - 3 Health - 3 After having watched newcomer Clen Vierno fall in his opening match, Frankfurt decided to take the young Gryffindor under his wing and teach him a thing or two. And what better way to learn than by doing. Clen thought he had learned from his first duel, he started by trying a hex towards the head, and was satisfied when Frankfurt tried the same spell. But Frankfurt's spell was far stronger, and knocked Clen to the ground. "First lesson today, young Clen. More experienced duelists can overpower you, even when choosing the same spell." Frankfurt readied another spell, but this time Clen was ready, and managed to raise a shield charm to protect himself. "Good show! Excellent anticipation." Mr. Vierno tried a hex to the legs, only to find himself on his backside when the experienced Hufflepuff choose the same attack. Frankfurt simply chuckled, and waited for the Gryffindor to regain his feet. "In a real duel, your opponent won't be so nice. He will attack when you are vulnerable." Sensing Vierno's growing impatience, Frankfurt put up a quick shield charm, only to be caught by surprise by a silience charm. He was even more surprised when Clen's hex to the body connected underneath his head shot. This youngster had something to prove, and Frankfurt now knew he had to be careful. Good round. Send DS for Round 2 when ready. -
LEGO S@H tends to have a poor track record with keeping the categories clean. It seems like every wave, they put PT sets in with the OT, or OT sets in with CW. It could very well be that the web designers that are creating or updating the pages aren't SW fans, and it isn't enough of a deal to get it updated when they do get into the wrong sub-category. Now, if a SW set ended up in Belville, or a Town set ended up in SW, I think we have the right to get up in arms. But I've never seen that happen.

OH-oh! I can answer that. Just follow this link.

I think it's about time I showed my face around here (mostly because I found a picture of me on my work computer). I'm the one on the right. And here are the two people who think it is their job to drive me nuts. Trust me, they don't need to try: Not the best photos, but they are photos.

Perhaps that means it is time to challenge Adm Ron again. After all, they say third fourth fifth sixth seventh time's a charm! -

Sure, make me feel bad for using those against him. Although my own struggles in this game are well documented. -

I'll adjudicate. We need to pump a little life back in this thread. -

Looks like I'm the only one who has no faith in Misty. I don't have any faith in Ted, either, so: Unvote: Misty Monroe/badboytje88 Vote: Ted Nathan Tompkins/WhiteFang -
Is there an error message that you are getting? Perhaps that would help us diagnose the problem. I do know that Brickshelf hates having spaces in the descriptions and folder names. I've always had to use '-' (dashes) in lieu of using the spacebar, although I've seen others use them (and if you know how, please fill us clueless in on the secret ).

Congratulations to Burman, Soluscud and TPRU. These three photos are definitely worthy of being winners. I think the judges did well in their choices. -

I am no longer confident in the evidence against Mrs. Jefferson. I still have my doubts, but I think there is a stronger case aganst someone else. Unvote: Delores Jefferson/def Vote: Chief Ryan Phelps/JimButcher -

What, a guy can't get his rocks off around here? For the record, she did enjoy it. Three times. I did learn something very important, though. Dr. Ballbricker is NOT the Sinister killer. Possibly a Sinister, yes, but not the Sinister killer. Jesus has asked who is the most suspicious, and right now I have to say that Misty has reaised the most flags for me. So: vote: Misty "Mrs" Monroe/badboytje88 -

That's what I meant. I guess I tripped over my words trying to express my thoughts. Anyway, the Mafia Games index shows exactly what I was thinking. -
Wow, that really does enhance what already is a gorgeous set. Excellent job. How many pieces did you end up having to modify?

Rick's idea is a good one I think. If you want examples, look at the Mafia Games Index that Draggy has made, or the RA Reviews index that KimT has made (I hope it was Kim, I didn't bother to check. ) Those indeces just have a linked list to the other posts in the thread in the first post, and then each subsequent post deals with a one Mafia game. It should organize things pretty well. -

Looking on his list, only the ball socket and the two halves of teh ball had to be spray painted red. Though after looking on BL, the Technic half pin doesn't appear in any sets in red. There is one seller selling them in that color, though. Not sure how the seller got a hold of them. Test injections, maybe? -

Perhaps everyone misconstrued my intent. When I sadi this town would have been better off without Matt, I meant that I didn't want him to end up as a bloodstain on our town's streets. Incompetence at his job is no grounds for voting for him. Or at least very weak grounds. I think most of the evidence we have seen points towards Delores Jefferson. I apologise to you and Patrick if we are incorrect, but this is some of the best evidence we have. Vote: Delores Jefferson/def -

Holy crap, when did that happen? My mugshot shows white arms. Looking back, I've had black arms since Day 1 in the group shots. If you think it's significant, Jesus, then go ahead and pursue it. I assure you I am merely Insane. Heck, you and I have been working together for the past few days. But do what you must, I won't fight it. I still trust Salvatore with my vote. -
And now it's been merged.

Oh yeah. Enthralling. Filled with a lot of Unhhs, and Oohhs, and mmmfs. Can we move onto something a bit more pressing? (probably a bad choice of words there) Like what all that gunfire was about? Or who we should vote out today? Although Will and Delores'..ahem... impropriety could be important. I'd hate for anyone to suggest that you were both Communists, meeting and plotting against the rest of us. -

Actually, Ted usually occupies the third floor room, the one with the huge bloodstain in it. Here's what the note on the Hotel door said: Just for completeness sake, and to refresh everyone's memory, here are the other two notes found at the hotel (my notes actually have these word for word ):
