This was an impressive launch of line, the complete opposite of Hasbro, where I still cant find the 2015 combiners line anywhere. Lego was on time or earlier. Hasbro should take note.

Thanks, as soon as I saw that shade of green I knew I had to focus on POJ. I switched the gear box to actuate the right arm only, much better that way due the wings, good chopping motion. The crotch and waist area are worth noting. It looked too bare there so I filled it in :)

Here is my Protector of Jungle / Air Note the extensions on the legs, they really fix the proportions for me. His sword can be hung on his hip: Horrid picture of his back: I broke him apart so you can see how I did the gear box and waist: I spared no expense on the parts. legozebra I took apart the POW I've kinda forgotten the exact recipe but I used the alternate shoulder build described at the beginning of this thread and used Technic connectors to fold the props over his shoulders like Lewa's shoulder armor. Trans red sounds super useful. Happy to hear ekimu has his protector mask Are we still getting generous trans parts? Wait so his chest piece is a combination duel injection black and trans red. How interesting :D

Its the original torso :) only difference is the way I mounted the launchers. However it has changed slightly since then I'll upload mucher better pics this weekend... Been working around the clock lately.

Personally I think while it could be that Chima piece.... Its not really cohesive in style. I'm leaning towards new piece :) Its the perfect set, small wise master vs giant corrupted evil Wait wait... Are the skullies white boned?

It bumps into those shoulder cogs. So I changed them to much smaller cogs. I was happy it fit nicely because the gear box has ridges around the axle holes that limit what can go in there.

True but lewa and my protector also colided with the gears themselves st the neck level. Now his neck has full rotation without bumping into cogs.

I posted this in the 2015 Bionicle section as well, because it fixes Lewa's kneck problem. But this a breakthrough for our Protectors (if you wanted the gearbox on them). Still not finished with my POJ but getting closer, I couldn't hold this solution from our community though. BTW it works much smoother than the normal cog system.

Solution to the Lewa neck issue and to putting the gear box on the Protectors :D The second gear knob is for the chest shooter. movement is much smoother.

These things are so easily modded I don't even see a reason to complain. In fact that's the fun part. But when you look at POF's chest build you can see the love that went into these guys.

@Desu, Hey thanks, I'm hoping a few parts will be here soon. Would you believe I was never really a fan of Bionicle, I mean I bought a few, hero factory sets, but I didn't like any of the heads :P I love the smaller size, I credit the Dudes at Lego for thinking outside the box even at the protector size. Inspired me to also to find more ways to build. Go Lego Bionicle! So is POE your favorite? The shoulders are perfect BTW. I just realized POE has black hands I think I need him now :)

It actually works well, and not really visible from the front, thickness is about the same as POF or POE, the chest shooter is actually in the same position as POE, I'm almost done with my "POJ" you could say, he's just missing a few pieces. Highly recommend experimenting with the socket extender pieces.

Okay questions about past Bionicle mythos: How does one kill a bionicle? Are their limbs normally swappable? What powers do the masks actually grant?
