Finally! My first build for it should be up next week . -
Also, as soon as your landscapes get better I wouldn't use many figs. The more figs you put in such a MOC, the less attention the forest and all the other landscaping details, or even the buildings get. If you look at some of the best MOCs you will mostly find them with only a few minifigs . Just my two cents about figs...

Nice challenge. Finally we have one! Now I just have to start building -
Great work on this build! I like the tilted walls on the tower a lot, I have to try this out one time. The log cabin also works great. Brick on!

Awesome first GoH MOC Hammerhand! I love the house with all the textures and the interior. I also like that you used curved and wedge plates for the path, that looks way better than just normal plates . The whole ground could use some more foilage, but that's more a problem of parts than a problem of building skills. So great job on this and brick on!

Thank you Sebeus! We tried photoshopping the two pictures, so that all 4 modules would be in a row, but my photoshopping skills were too bad... It's also difficult because you can't edit a one coloured background (looks totally ugly with the trans clear water, which then would be way too dark in comparison to the background).

Does anyone have a good round tower tutorial?
Simon_S replied to Tomsche's topic in Guilds of Historica
THIS is also a nice round tower technique, which is a little bit less detailed and so easier to incorporate if you don't want to do a whole DC styled build. -

It wouldn't fit at all in the backstory of my charcter and I already took it apart, so there's no possibility to put my Sigfig in it and and create a story to go with it. -

I recently built a ship... for anothers site Castle RPG But it would totally fit in Kaliphlin, so I thought I'd still post it here... -
I agree. You have your own style, so don't destroy it .

Book II - Avalonia: Guild sign-up and Discussion

It's from Angeli, not Robuko . Nevertheless, it's an awesome build. The Drow indeed become mighty! -

So if I didn't build anything for the Drow challenge, is there no way to get the chance to be part of the story team? Or can we still build for it? -
I don't know. I know that they would be too much for a 75 Euro set, but I rather went by size than by piece count, because I wasn't willing to use Panels and BURPs, because they disallowed much nice little details. Looking at the actual size of it, I don't think it's too big... Thanks mate .

Here's my part of the entry. We will create a seperate topic once the one of my teammate is also up, but I already have to post it here, because I'm also going to use it as a part of another contest entry.

Nice work my friend! I was very impressed when I saw how you constructed the roof, kudos to you! I'm looking forward to your actual entry .

Thank you Tomsche . Thanks Gideon. Thank you. People already told me that after my Challenge VI entry in Book I (attack on Cedrica) and I'd also like to be in Kaliphlin, but I sadly can't be in all 4 guilds the same time . Thanks Niku! Thanks mate. I wanted to create something unique, so I went with these unusual colours. Thanks rogueang. Thank you Torgar! The "real" piece you see in the back is from an Indiana Jones set: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?S=7195-1 and the rug is a DUPLO cloth piece: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=blankie03pb02

Book II- Chapter 1- Category C : The Cellar
Simon_S replied to Gunman's topic in Guilds of Historica
Great work my friend! You really outdid yourself with this beautiful build . There are so many nice details to look at and the size is impressive. But I have to agree with Gideon that I'm not a big fan of repetative rockwork... -
This was a great contest. Thanks for organizing and congratulations to the winners.

Nice! I especially like your tan/dark red tree (already liked it in the monkey build) and the tower itself also looks great. I love all that arrow slits and that crazy skelleton head over the door. Also nice use of Caesars hair .

Book II Challenge 1 C: Recruiting a Cyclops Tribe
Simon_S replied to Gideon's topic in Guilds of Historica
Great job on the houses and the wooden wall! I agree that the landscape could have some more details (smaller plates) to fit the rest of your awesome build better .
