  1. Looking forward to the entries, though I'm not sure if I will enter myself, I'll have to see Yes, it means that as long as the base is 256 stud or less it would be allowed, regardless of the shape.
  2. Awesome build, MassEditor, I really like the alligator! Nice work with the chairs and the rest of the things on the table as well, and excellent story - I can't wait for more
  3. A couple of days ago I realized that I had built very few builds for anything besides GoH, so I decided to make something a bit different. So here is a little scene, inspired by the minifigure (I have had him built for a while) and the English Nile Expedition for the relief of Khartoum: A shot from a lower angle: And a close up of the camel and driver: Thanks for viewing, C&C are welcome
  4. I have to agree with Kai that while it would be a good idea for a short while, it would become repetitive and boring after a time. I would also suggest that we do not use the same point system that LoR has, as that puts those who are excellent builders at a disadvantage if they do not have as much time to challenge or accept challenges as others (like Gabe, I would much prefer an honour system, where there are not in specific categories of builders). However, that said, I do see how this idea, with a lot of work, could work and help people improve their building skills.
  5. I agree with the others, that is quite an improvement, especially with the stream and banks I'm looking forward to the completed build
  6. Thanks DM! Thanks, that would have been an excellent idea, to bad I hadn't thought of it before Thanks Gabe! A bit of a curve always helps Thanks MassEditor!
  7. Welcome to GoH, Sparrow the Conqueror and Lord Dan! Just click on the chain on the bar (under the right of size) when you write your post and paste the URL in it. It should look like this: http://www.eurobrick...07#entry1923808 If you want some words to be hyperlinked, highlight the words and then click the chain; Freebuild: Loading the Wagon
  8. Stupendous work, MassEditor, this is an excellent continuation of the collab There are so many great things in this build, from the throne to the carpet and stairs to the lava-falls I really like the use of all those dark gray slopes in an interior - awesome minifigs as well
  9. Garmadon from Mitgardia votes for Nocturnus. There were a couple of really nice ships from Avalonia though as well
  10. Hey! (not that we wouldn't win anyways )
  11. Yes, but you do not need to use your sigfig in all your builds; many people (including myself) have side characters who do a lot of things So if you are thinking of coming back to One-eye after a while you could just make a few other characters to use in the mean time
  12. Thanks dG! The mud was also quite nice since it kept the minifig in place a little better
  13. Excellent little build, Masa, the curved dark gray slopes work very well as rocks Great job with the trees and flowers too
  14. Nice entry, Mpoh, the foliage and vines are excellent, and the minifig posing is very good too As I mentioned before, the battlements could have used a little work, but an great entry on the whole - to bad you didn't have time to enter the other categories as well.
  15. Excellent build Hammerhand, especially for a hurried entry I really like the tower, its supports and the palisade The rock-work is good too, but it could be improved by a bit more variation (mostly on the right). Nice work
  16. Personally, I try to always have a bit of constructive criticism in my posts, or at least some reasons why I like the build. As to your own builds, it is a good idea to evaluate the build yourself to get people started, but it also depends a lot on what has been going on (if there was suddenly a great influx of builds, or if it is a time of relatively little activity). On another topic, is anyone doing much building just now (besides SK, obviously )?
  17. Ha, ha, thanks Kayne BTW, if you could finish of the UoP approvals for these other three builds (FP 1, Dense Foilage 2, Shipping by sea 3) I would appreciate it P.s. Some of them are old threads, so please don't bump them
  18. Thanks all! Thanks Hammerhand, and yes, the round tiles are quite useful: I got a bunch at a PaB wall Thanks Robuko! No, just mud. Thanks Torgar!
  19. Fantastic job, Torgar, the waterfalls and rockwork are excellent, but on top of that (literally) the tree and treehouses... wow. Stupendous work!
  20. Those rats! I knew it was them Nice build, Robuko, the rounded part is quite nice as a departure from (boring old) straight walls
