No, I don't have the instructions. I am not a certified store or a LEGO ambassador. I designed the rods and T plate in Studio Part Designer myself. Don't know if it gets copied with the model I uploaded. Let me know and I'll provide them separately.
-
No, I did everything on my own the last 2 days by going through the speed build frame by frame.

21344.io All there except the minifigures (including the 1x9 Technic rods, Optimus faceplate and Minion head ). I can see why this is not sold as ready for PUp motorization. There needs to be significant modification to fit a motor in the boiler. Too bad LEGO does not make 2x3 sized micromotors like CaDA. I could see fitting two of those inside and gearing them up to the drivers. They are powerful enough too.

I just bought the Nexo Knights Book second hand just to get a much better looking Merlin now. One might even say he is the twin brother of Merlok.

Tender done. Added a PUp Battery box too. It has a nice little hatch to reach the power button and a small door for the cables to run through.

Thanks for stepping up for me. The .io file link is the same as from my previous post. That's the benefit of Brickshelf. I keep updating it as I progress further in the build. Sleeper and Restaurant done.
-
Restaurant carriage completed. I noticed both in the BD's review and in the official product images that the 16L train rail pieces are badly deformed and curve upwards. Either too much stress due to plate tolerance stack-up or they are deformed from molding process and it's a quality topic.

What's vague about going back one page? I literally posted a picture of the sticker sheets yesterday on page 18.

Go back a page...

This year's 4002023 Employee Gift is just a bigger WW Advent Calendar with DOTS left-over pieces...

Well if we don't count all the printed and misprinted elements, there are also a bunch of recolors, like 1x6 plates and 1x3x3 windows in pearl gold, 1x4 arch bricks, large train doors L+R and the Minions heads in dark blue, the large bucket in black etc. More 6x16 dark red plates are also nice.

Base and first carriage almost done: 21344.io
-
Oh, right. I can't count.

The included two sticker sheets. Not a fan of the gibberish Morse code instead of actual written specs. A printed backgammon 2x2 tile would have been nice too. I would be happy to have multiple boardgame tile elements. New piece introduced with this set 10x16 plates in black and nine of them in total. Previously only available as baseplate in 1978.

Exactly! If the focus was just on the luxury train carriages, because that is what the brand Orient Express stands for, they could have sold them separately with alternative interiors to build. But no one would pay 300 bucks for that.
-
From the speed-build it's also clear that they used the cheap plastic wheels even though they just re-introduced the metal axles in the HE and Hogsmeade Station. Why cheap out on a 300€ set on such an important element for train enthusiasts? No wonder a motorization is not possible out of the box and the train is too heavy. Also the designer could have built a longer tender to facilitate 2x train motors and have enough power. But then it would look even sillier behind that short locomotive.
-
That one would be acceptable, but the real f-up is BucArești instead of BucUrești. Then again the homepage on OE also lists the order of the capitals in the wrong order. And it's 4x wrong if you count the tiles that would need to be reprinted. Plus the instructions, box and promotional images too. And people thought the wrong logo on the UCS Gunship was a big deal. I explicitly waited until it was fixed before purchasing the set, so I won't back down here.
-
They misspelled one of the capitals the train runs through. Let's see if you guess which one. I'm pretty pissed about it and will complain to CS for sure.
-
At least we know the carriages are kept in pearl gold and not fyo.
-
Maybe, but if the Blacktron Figure is already EOL and was only in the GWP (and the exclusive DS23), I wouldn't put my hopes up high. The lack of a shield suggests there might be no comeback for this faction, sadly. Hope I'm wrong.

Corrected the model again. Now that the reviews and part lists are out, there are no more uncertainties. https://www.brickfanatics.com/lego-40601-majistos-magical-workshop-review https://brickset.com/article/101728/review-40601-majisto-s-magical-workshop

No, you cannot purchase GWP's from Lego. The price is just there because they need to invoice it somehow. You can however buy it on secondary market from resellers who place several orders and get multiple GWP's to make a nice profit. Just wait a few weeks for the prices to drop.

I fixed my model based on the back shots from the above linked video. It's so weird that they put the chimney to the side since the smoke collector is symmetrical, so I believe it should be 4 studs lower and one towards the middle (or at the very least switch places with the cheese slope). Whoever did that for the box and instruction did not understand the original model very well because there it made actual sense.
