  1. Impossible! This is a Heady-Duty Bulldozer not just any Mini Bulldozer. :P
  2. Basic Model. No secrets and no B-model hidden here. 42163.io
  3. Yeah! Wtf? Not even the 10$ bulldozer?! Or is this the consequence of not increasing the price that we lose the B-model?
  4. You beat me to it. I find it funny thinking that 2024 will be remembered as the year of colorful Technic tires and GOATS! Also sand blue banana gear, reddish orange large steering wheel and pearl gold shock absorber.
  5. @Carefree_Dude Please keep this topic about the LEGO Orient Express. Not everyone is keen on sets from MK and their obnoxious way of stealing fan designers MOC's, not to mention the non-existing licensing for obvious brands and designs. There is just one non-LEGO brand tolerated here on EB and that one has a separate thread, for good reason too.
  6. Check the updated V3 or V4 where I posted the extra parts and the leftover pieces. I will not make any instructions since the Studio file is more than enough for this basic mod. You can simply hide all parts except "step 2: new parts" and look at info for the list of required pieces and export it to BL wanted list.
  7. Imho it looks like a mess of liftarms, gears and colorful pins & axles. The lazy molds for hemispheres, the ugly robotic wheels as feet and the lack of attachments for a motor just doesn't confer it a premium product vibe. I have the CaDA version and that one is so much better, clean and elegant looking and it cost me half of this LEGO version. And they only did it because it was popular on Ideas and the competition released a similar tellurion.
  8. No, they are clearly LBG, best seen on 42178.
  9. I really like this cute Rover/Loader. Packed with 4 different functions. I don't get how the steering could be linked to the front liftarm with the axles for the cabin raising passing through. Maybe someone can find a solution. Of course I could wait for better quality images, but where's the challenge in that? 42178.io
  10. It's the new Reddish Orange introduced for 2024. We saw it first in MK Megapolis Set. The City Space sets will also use those module pieces in that color.
  11. No chance. They won't wash the tires before printing to make the print adhere properly. Changing color is no big deal, just add some pigments to the mix.
  12. Also 9748 Droid Developer Kit had Light Gray 30x10.5 Offset Treat Technic Tires. And don't forget the RC Racers that had huge tires in Lime, Blue or Red.
  13. In what instance does COBI not compete with LEGO? Maybe not in the Technic or military brick-world, but anything System built is a clear competition. Or haven't you seen the Concorde, Titanic, 1:12 Classic cars, etc. from the two companies? I am still very surprised by the tolerance the danish giant has for the polish firm since they started to patent individual elements and some of them COBI is still using. Don't want to crush your dreams, but look at the part count and price and you'll see there is little chance for the things you mention. This isn't a flagship set but merely a placeholder for the Racers category "200$ licensed racing car from Technic elements held together by stickers" (aka 42096, 42125, 42141, 42156). Oh and they jacked up the price by 10% in case you haven't noticed. :(
  14. Here's the Studio file in case someone wants to re-brick or modify it: 40603.io
  15. Well there is one bike, one harvester and a spaceship in the list. :)
  16. And I bet it will again be a huge fail with outdated and wrong livery, basic functions without differential, same width "rain" tires... the whole package. :(
  17. Correct. Until Dec 14th while stocks last.
  18. 70 €/$ for the Christmas Baubles and 150 €/$ for the Winter Carriage. Turns out there are some bricks for each day included after all. And at least 2 minifigures from what I could see in the bags. But nothing exclusive that couldn't be re-bricked. https://jaysbrickblog.com/news/the-2023-lego-employee-christmas-gift-is-a-dots-inspired-gingerbread-house-advent-calendar/
  19. And here is V4 with rear driver powered instead of middle blind wheel just in case the power cable is too short: motorized_21344_v4.io Left over parts:
  20. Sorry, you were right. And because there is no way to add half plate spacers I had to redesign the whole thing. Gear ratio changed to 1:1.667 and motor cable routing runs along the back. Hope the cable is long enough. Maybe someone can measure the length exactly, because I don't have this motor in hand. These 30 parts are needed for the mod. The rest are just rearranged from the original locomotive. Here is the Studio file: motorized_21344_v3.io Left over pieces:
  21. By that logic, the Technic Bucket Wheel Excavator or the Osprey would never have made it to series production. The BWE was seriously underpowered and 1 XL motor had to run every function, even multiple at the same time and THAT is a heavy set.
  22. Great video! So to sum it up the LEGO Designer was not able to motorize the train and thought it was too heavy because he didn't want to use a rubber (band). Jokes aside, it's pretty obvious TLG is phasing out, as promised, PUp by 2024 (maybe 2025). So having a motorisation would mean either the set gets discontinued too (=bad for cashflow) or they keep the set 3 years but say no motorisation available. Also the warranty period has to ensure spare components up to 2-3 years after EOL.
  23. Unfortunately all decorations are stickers. The worst part is that all compartments are empty. You're supposed to fill them with bricks yourself LOL. Most expensive DOTS set ever. So glad I didn't buy it on eBay... and people thought last years Friends set was ugly.
  24. Excellent work @efferman! That's what Technic is all about, enabling many realistic functions with gears and axles. And if it also looks good it's a bonus. Since that military crane has no license and is not financing any company in supporting on-going wars, I see no issues with buying it. The MB Zetros was also mainly grey, and that truck IS actually used in on-going wars as transport vehicle. So make your own conclusions. That CR240E mining dump truck and the two new 1:10 cars look also good. The 1:8 Mazda RX-7 unfortunately is a miss imo.
