  1. I got lucky and got 4 Speedorz for 32€ here in Germany. So 8€ each. They are really throwing these off the shelves. Now I only have to wait for the sets to drop a little more.
  2. I got Colby City 2 days ago and have to say that it really is great. I agree, the Sheriff building is the best of the two. I modded it by removing the gun, fixing the prison wall, and added more telescope pieces but other than that it is already great. The bank needed a little more. A proper roof to start with. I just added some white slopes and it looks good! The just some adjustments to the right side, to make it symmetrical and a little change to the interior and it's done! I would say that this set and the silver mine are the most appealing. The Comanche camp is great for a western theme but the plastic tent kills it a bit for me. The train is sadly a little too expensive for me right now, but it looks like a proper western train, like the one from Toy Stroy but less colourfull.
  3. We'll it escalated a bit more with me. I also started with the Lab Escape, now I got Shredder's Bike and the Stealth Shell and the Shellraiser are on their way. 2 sets to go, when I was never really hyped for the theme. I think nostalgia hit me bad.
  4. Really great! I've seen the anime and Iove how you represent the fire with background-light. Best mosaic I've seen so far!
  5. I'm sure the review is well writen, it's Rufus! :D I couldn't dare to read it, as I want to experience the set for myself. When I got it, I'll read it completly, promise! But I read the ratings and wonder why you give a high 8 for the figures, while there seems to be more criticism. This just hyped me up even more for this tall beauty. Thanks!
  6. Well their capes don't touch the figures back like capes normally do, they seem to bent so much, that the cloth can't touch their backs and just stands up. I'll just add a picture. I think it does not look right.
  7. Just one quick question to the Attack on Weathertop set. Do the capes of the Ringwraiths have to bent far beyond the figure? They look really strange with the capes standing in the air. How can I put them on to make them look better? It's ridicolus I even have to ask this.
  8. After most info have dropped, I can say that the PS4 is going to be it for me. 100 bucks less, and NO restrictions. Yep, I'm in. I don't really care for the X-Box exclusives. Sony already had part of me after their PS4 reveal.
  9. True words. Saw that too and when I realized that the promo only counts for the 360 version, I came to realize a bad marketing move again. I have no single console, only a PC, I'm not someone who likes to spend 50 bucks on a game I can't play just to get a minifigure and then sell the game. I still have to get all other game-exclusive minifigures (Lex from Batman 2, Elrond from LotR, Chase McCain from LCU) and now the Iron Patriot, too (who is going to be sold at stupid prices, because it is going to land in hands of overpricing ... [enter a fitting word here]).
  10. God, I hope not. Not again this ridiculous idea of making wanted minifigures in limited numbers and give them to people who sell them for too much money. After I started playing the Facebook Marvel game I really apreciated Phoenix. Whatever marketing stategy that is, I don't like it. On another note: Got the Malibu Mansion 2 days ago. As it was expected, good set. And a good base to remodel from. Nearly finished Tony's working area, the top part is still a little empty, even though I kept the kitchen part. Anyone knows what else would fit in there and (to stay with the sets-topic) what you would have liked in there? Also the little robot is really hard to mod to fit the movie. Iron Man 2 has a good image of him. Maybe 2 days and I finished it to my liking.
  11. I really like the set. I've been waiting for a Chima set that actually represents the coresponding animal from head to toe. I actually might pick this one up. And don't think I didn't hear the One Piece soundtrack in the small video showing the mechs arm-flailing. ;D
  12. I will also try to pick it up. I'm very sure it will also be avaiable in Germany. All other promotions have been, so why not this, too.
  13. Anyone seen the store calendar for July yet? There seems to be a Hero Factory promo from the 15 to the end of the month to get an accesory pack. It shows a black brain slug and a red bladed weapon there. I only saw it blurry in a video from just2good, where he had to tell me what was written there.
  14. I did not know Luke changed his hair colour in this scene. :D Maybe the Ewoks have a hair colour expert. I actually like that they included the trooper helmets to play drums on. Wonder how stable the main part will be. I can imgaine that there can be a mess, when you push something down really hard. Has the 'hammer trick' of the Ewoks also been used on a speederbike? I only recall them smashing an AT-ST with it. The variety of figures in Star Wars has already driven me crazy, so I'm happy to have stopped collecting. Some nonsense features like the place to hang the lightsaber and the 'Ewok slide' (that's my name for it) may add a playfeature for kids. But wait, how many kids will get this set under the christmas tree? We will see...
  15. Is anyone who has the set also experiencing problems with the print on Iron Man's legs? The black outline around the gold is not continous but rather just a dotted outline on mine. Can I write an E-Mail to Lego for that?
  16. Heroes and Sports? You know, that already happened: Fox Sports and Hero Factory. But back to the questons: I have no problem with the building technique. But the story is not very interesting. I would like some actual challenge. Core Hunter was one of the most interesting villains, because he hunted the heroes to rip their cores out. That felt like a real threat. So maybe there should be a real adventure. Maybe for two years. One continuing story where the heroes hunt after a big evil. Yes, Von Nebula is still out there, maybe they could give him some spotlight back and have the heroes hunt him through the galaxy. Bionicle had the Mask of Lfe story line, one of my favourites. There was an all around danger by mad, grinning monsters, mutated criminals in the deep sea and a whole group of Makuta to get one key item. Hero Factory hasn't made enough "progress" yet. Everything significant of the last years seems to be (correct me if I'm wrong): - Von Nebula returns as a villains and does mischief with his gang -> gang captured and Von Nebula stuck in his staff - Neither the Fire nor the Jungle Saga have proven to show any sign of significance to the story, besides the upgrades being introduced, but that could have been done with everything else, too. - Breakout lets all villains free, including Von Nebula, some are captured, some are still free -> Okay, now we have a mass of criminals in the galaxy that may actually have some evil plans against the Hero Factory, wonder what happens now. - One individuum launches a mass of brain corrupting aliens to the main city, to enslave Heroes and civilians -> Everything turns out okay, but some few brains are still right under the city. Wonder if they will be significant later, or if they were just used for a jump scare. I hope for next year things will be going wild.
  17. Well, I got my first Chima set yesterday, the Nestjump Speedor set. I actually like how there is something to build, something I've been missing with the Ninjago spinners. The Speedor itself seems fun, but does not feel as playable as the spinners. Figures have nice printing. I collect, so the figures are going to get a part of my figure-box. Probably a large one, thanks to the amount of them. But the small buildings are going to be taken apart. None of the sets seems very memorable to me. We'll see how the other sets of my wanted list will be, maybe I can change my opinion slightly.
  18. Just a sidenote on the whole youtube review stuff: Probably unstopable to have people review things to be "First!". I personally dislike most of the established reviewers. I like our home-own just2goodeurobricks. : P He seems to do it with a passion. But now to the sets: Yep, the black gate is must for me. Figures look really good and the set itself is also memorable, just like the Council of Elrond. Wizard duel is cheap enough to get it for the printed eye of Sauron. I'm still not too keen about the Corsair ship. Bricklinking the figures might end up ridiculously overpriced and leave me with no bricks at all, so the set itself might be the best choice parts wise.
  19. Well, a Lego Jessica Alba is probably impossible. I don't remember Marvel getting the rights for FF back. They got Daredevil and Ghostrider back but not Fantastic Four. So we can at least hope for comic versions. Or Lego comes up with a deal until the FF remake, that has been anounced, comes into cinemas.
  20. Great, thank you! Then it is only a decision between crocodile and raven. I tend more towards the raven, because of the more closed design. Cragger seems to have a big hohle in his neck that does not look that good.
  21. Does anyone have Cragger or the raven? I would like to know if the silver spikes are the same as the ones in the Fangblades of 2012's Ninjago sets. Having the silver teeth would enable me to build the Fangblades out of spare parts than buying Ninjago sets just to get the Fangblades.
  22. Ah, didn't know there actually was airing time for it already, sorry. I also think that Lola is a possible set. I would actually enjoy having a sleek red car. Luke Cage is also a good idea. But I fear that Lego could also just throw him out at Comic-Con as a comic variant. Or even worse: Limited Agents of SHIELD minifigures at Comic Con, like last year's figures. Urgh, scary thoughts.
  23. I think its also a question of the time the series will air. When its late in the evenings because of the rating, kids will probably be unable to see it and thus have no clue about the new characters. No involvment with the characters and thus no sympathy. Coulson is known from the Avengers, he could be in a set, but the other agents are just unknown characters. And if the series airs late, kids will have no clue abput them. I'm interested in how this will turn out.
  24. It still reminds me of Hordac from the Masters of the Universe. Sure its very flat and the mouth isn't connected to anything, can't deny that. For me the whole Brain Attack wave seems more like "You get transparent parts! And YOU get transparent parts! Everyone gets transparent parts!". A whole wave good for recolours. I would like to see some real villains again next time. Beasts aren't as good as a character like Core Hunter. That's why I liked Breakout better.
  25. Ha! I had the same problem just yesterday! I think I loosened the bottom grey bricks and pulled them out and then deconstructed it from the bottom.
