Nice way to reuse the Cars car parts. I'm not really interested in these, because I'm not into Racers, but if they're available here for a good price, I'll definitely pick some up. I, too, am afraid about the quality, so I'll probably wait until I see a review.

Really nice MOC! This definitely is a good start! I have a few ideas on how to continue. Maybe you should start to build a wall in a modular fashion so you can expand the base more easily. Seeing some barracks, where the clones are sleeping would be nice, too. I noticed some of your pictures are a bit blurry. You should buy a tripod, it has been really useful for me, and the simpler ones are pretty cheap (at least here).

B-M-09A Hi! This is my entry for Category 1 of te Modular Madness contest. I entered in Category 1 because I have neither the parts or skill necessary to build a classic modular, and I thought building mini modulars is challenging enough too, so I decided to enter. The building is a regular building, lacking an interior because of its scale. The building has 4 floors, with a fashion store on the first two floors, and apartments on the upper levels. There are flowers in the highest windows. The building has two chimneys and a radar dish on the rooftop. There is an entrance at the back side. Pictures: Thanks for the great contest, and good luck for everyone entering!

This is brilliant! I really like the way you used the headlight bricks to create windows. I was planning to enter the competition, but I see now I don't have a chance of winning.

Just finished, nice survey!

Good job, TLG... I think this shows the problems with the quality control. With this being a very limited edition figure, I think it wouldn't have been so hard to manually check that there are no printing errors. If they're going to make it an exclusive, then at least have them be in perfect condition.

I'm really excited for this film. I heard people say that this will be the Superman equivalent of Batman Begins, with Nolan as producer. I hope the studio doesn't try to make a cross-over of the two characters, as having Superman in the Nolan Bat-universe would be terrible.

Is it okay to edit the lighting on the computer?

Found a solution to the cockpit problem: I'll post pictures tomorrow, as it is too dark here to take good pictures. I've also added greebles to the wings.

I see it now, thanks for pointing it out!

In that solution the hinge is not connected to anything. Thanks for the idea though.

I present to you my newest MOC, the Mandalorian Starfighter. The Mandalorian Starfighter was first used during the Clone Wars as a light fighter. It is very fast and agile, with abilities rivaling those of a Jedi Interceptor. However, unlike that ship, it has a built-in hyperdrive. Its main weapons are the two laser cannons located on the tip of the wings. Here is a view from the front. I think this is the worst angle of the ship. You can see where the wings connect to the body and the cones that serve as cannons. Here it is from the back. It was hard to do the angled part on the two sides, because I couldn't find the necessary pieces at first. I ended up using these and these, connected to these. Here you can see more of the wing. I added the blue stripes to make the ship more Mandalorian-looking, and to make the wings less bland. The other side is the same as this, as the ship is symmetrical. The cockpit has only two joystick pieces, because there isn't room for anything else. The Mandalorian minifig can fit in with the jetpack on. The canopy piece is the one from the Magnaguard Starfighter, and is exclusive to that set. Unfortunately there isn't enough room to have an opening function. I really like how this part turned out to be, with all the greebles. The thing on the back is supposed to be the hyperdrive. You can see more of how the wings are connected on the underside. I think it looks really sleek. Here is a bonus shot of the Mandalorian with his ship.

The vehicle of the dark knight trilogy
Bricktooth replied to Tony the light's topic in LEGO Licensed
Great work Tony the light! I really like the way you built the engines of the Bat. My only criticism is that the proportions of the camo Tumbler are off. The wheels should be closer together, and the top shouldn't be that high. Maybe you could build it as a recolor of your black one, which I think is great. -

Bricktooth replied to mrklaw's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Maybe something like this? 3 1x1 round pieces, a 1x2 tile, connected to the torso, with the appropriate colors and printing, of course. -
I think somebody has done something like that, I'm sure I've seen it somewhere.

Does anybody know about this set?

Thanks for the information, Rick! -
A couple years ago (I think in 2004), LEGO had a promotion here in Hungary. They included three different kind of LEGO models with a certain kind of ice cream, containing only one. The models were mini dinosaur models. Pictures: Overall: The models: The first is a long-necked dinosaur, I don't know its exact name, the second is a pterosaur, and the third is a T-rex. The parts are average, nothing special. My question is that were these sets released anywhere else? I couldn't find it on Bricklink.

Review: 9500 - Sith Fury Class Interceptor
Bricktooth replied to jmagaletta's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Nice review ! I have mixed feelings about this set. On one hand the design and figures are great, but after seeing the comparison pictures, I feel a little underwhelmed. i think the price should be around $70, instead of $90 . I was planning to get this when I go to the US in August, but this made me reconsider. Maybe I should get Helm's Deep instead? -
