Hello everybody! Here's my second entry to the RotS Community Build, the battle between Anakin and Obi-wan on Mustafar. This was an easy MOC to build, the biggest challenge was to build the lava in a unique way. The two hover-platforms are from the set 9494 Anakin's Jedi Interceptor. From another angle: Without the platforms & minifigs: After the duel: Thanks for watching!

Well, one can see it that way... -
It's not just Clone O'Patra's thread, everyone can post in there. I don't think he even posted in there recently. As for the stylization, that's no problem, either. There are a lot of differently styled comics there.

These are hilarious! Great job! The only thing is that this belongs in the Single Pane Star Wars Funnies topic, just ask a mod to move it there if you want to.

I'm about to start ChV, for about the 3rd time. The bad thing is that although I have a general idea and already finished some smaller details, I have no idea how to start the majority of the build. -
Best/Worst designed licenced minifigure ever?
Bricktooth replied to Santaduckz's topic in LEGO Licensed
I absolutely desipse the EV-A4-D minifigure. It is just so bad that I have no idea how it got through TLG's product reviews. Practically all of the Avatar and Speed Racer minifigs are terrible, too. During the time those were released, LEGO was going through a shift in the minifigures' level of detail, and those were caught right in the middle. As for the best, I think there are too many to mention here, but a honorable mention goes to the Deadpool fig. It's just perfect! -
Lego Superheroes 2013 Rumours & Discussion

I think that the Iron Man films' realism is gone now with the Avengers, I mean, gods from Asgard, a magical cube, a portal through worlds, an invading alien army, the Hulk, does any of that sound realistic to you? -

We already have the Malibu house confirmed, and I think we'll get a set with the Mandarin, too. -
Because of the click-hinges on the legs, it's easy to pose them in different ways. It does look better with more straightened-out legs, though. If I have the time, I'll update the pictures.

It is very nice to hear that your son likes it so much. Hope you can correct some of my version's mistakes! I built most of it using the Juggernaut version's pieces, that's why it's similar.

Community Build: SW Episode III - Revenge of the Sith

I've posted my entry, the AT-RT Walker: -
Hi everyone! Here's my entry to the Revenge of the Sith Commumity Build, the AT-RT Walker. I actually started to build this MOC 1,5 years ago, when I bought the Turbo Tank Set, and was disappointed with the official version. Unfortunately, however, it was stuck in what could be called "Development Hell", with me being unable to find a good way of doing the legs. When this community build was announced, I found that this was a good opportunity to finally finish it. Although the ARF Trooper is CW, I built this based on the RotS model. Here is a view from the front. It is very difficult lining up the legs correctly, something I failed to do in this picture. The side: The back: A three-quarters view: From above: The feet were pretty hard to do, and they use a lot of illegal techniques. And finally here is a shot of the ARF Trooper riding the AT-RT: Thanks for watching!

Has there been an official confirmation that we will get only those 5 sets? -

So, do we know anything about the other sets in this wave? 4 regular sets + a D2C seems a bit few for me. -

So, any confirmation on the prices? -
I think the least they could do for the front is to add a sticker or printing that makes the windshield piece look like it has two panels.
-
I will probably only buy the Umbaran tank and maybe the BARC Speeder set, the rest are just meh for me.
-
My three biggest problems with it are that it lacks camo coloring, those hideous stickers, although they don't necessarily have to be applied, and that the front is executed horribly. Other than that, I think the scale of it is pretty good.

That happened to me before the upgrade, too. Maybe it's something about your settings? I'm really hoping you're not saying this seriously. You're one of the most talented builders around here. I may not know you too well with me being here only for a relatively short time, but I've seen your MOCs, and I think they're brilliant! I hope you think this decision over. -

So, no discussion about the Angels Take Manhattan episode? -
By all means post the new pics when you can! I think the best way to do the sides is SNOT:
-
Yeah, the ideal size is probably between those two.

Although those Tumblers you linked are fantastic mocs, I think they're a bit on the large side. My favorite one is this one: http://www.flickr.com/photos/25678535@N06/6279738782/. The builder even made instructions available. By the way talking about all these Tumblers made me revisit my own, so a potential future update is possible.
