What do you prefer?, Lego Batman or Lego DC superheroes
Bricktooth replied to Jackattack7's topic in LEGO Licensed
DC Superheroes, because I think it has much more potential, with the whole DC universe available, even if they haven't released too much new characters yet. -
Scorpiox 9494 Anakin's Jedi Interceptor. Great ship, minifigs and parts, and the price isn't that bad, either.
-
What parts do you need? You can check if they're available in the colors you need on http://www.bricklink.com/ .

Not bad, but it's way too square. One of the Tumbler's main defining characteristics is that it contains next to none right angles. Of course that's impossible to do in LEGO, but you can achieve the same effect by many other methods. Here's a reference picture: Hope this helps!

for the people, freedom and honor! Castle Diorama

Wow, great MOC! For some reason I thought of the siege of Minas Tirith when I first saw this. -
Lego Superheroes 2013 Rumours & Discussion
Bricktooth replied to CorneliusMurdock's topic in LEGO Licensed
I think that both of these sets are pretty terrible. The plane in the Bugle set, the Bat, the Tumbler... Come on LEGO, you can do better! The only redeemable features of these sets are the minifigs and the tiles that make up JJJ's face on the wall. -
I think that was intentional since both Gandalf and Magneto were played by Ian McKellen in their respecitve films.

Well, I had the perfect chance to build as much as I can with Eurobricks down, but unfortunately I had too much on my hands to do anything with all the free time. -

Cost and Size of a Lego Minifigure Scale Earth
Bricktooth replied to drdesignz's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I find it interesting and yet incredibly hilarious that some people actually have time to get these numbers. I'm not saying this to offend anyone who worked on getting those numbers, but I can't help but laugh when someone calculates how many bricks it takes to build a minifig-scale Earth or Death Star (I remember someone did that as well). BTW this topic should really run for the title of the most weird topic ever, it would have a great chance of winning. I'm interested in where this will get... -
Incredible! The only thing it misses is a J. S. Bach minifig. Too bad LEGO doesn't have a hairipece like that...

Eurobricks Ninja Month!
Bricktooth replied to Peppermint_M's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Sounds interesting! Although I don't own a single Ninja set or minifig, I'll try to 'sneak in' if I can. -
When will the next round start?

TheLegoDr For that price, it is a must-buy. It contains a lot of nice parts and figs, even though you already have the vampire and his bride. If you don't need those two, you can sell them online anyway. If you were on the fence for it, then you should definitely buy it. Elijah Timms I would go for the Town Hall, especially if it is cheaper. For some reason I feel if as it is a more complete building than the Haunted House. However, if you are interested in the Monster Fighters line, and plan to get other sets from the line, I think you should go for the Haunted House.

Community Build: SW Episode III - Revenge of the Sith
Bricktooth replied to Oky's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I've finished my build, an AT-RT walker, will post it as soon as I can. I'm thinking about building a second entry, hopefully I can do it alongside Challenge V of GoH. -
Wow! There is nothing much I can say about this excellent MOC. I really like that the building is removable and modular, this way I think it's a much more complete model than it would have been if you hadn't built the interior. The thing that sells most MOCs to me is the small details, and this has got them all, with my favorite being the unicorn pieces on the posts of the bed. However, I agree with MikeyB that it needs a fireplace - how else are you going to survive those horrible winters of yours?

How did you come up with this?

I got 8097 Slave 1 for about 50% of the local price. LEGO is pretty expensive here, so I wouldn't have bought the set if it were not for the sale (50% of the MSRP here is still about $60). It's a great set, never regretted buying it.

I bought a bunch of trans-clear parts for Challenge V, got the general idea straight and some smaller details finished. Might enter a build for one of the titles in the meantime. -
Has this pic been posted? It's not watermarked, so I think it's okay to post it here: *snip* EDIT: Just read Captain BeerBeard's post.

I would go for the 9493 X-Wing Starfighter, which although contains only Luke and R2 of the main characters, but it's an extremely swooshable ship, and a great model of arguably the most iconic ship in Star Wars.

By the way, isn't this contest supposed to be ended today? Angeli posted the one week deadline on the 12th, which was a week ago.
