  1. On a small-sized build you were able to show quite a number of interesting interior techniques. Nice! As a suggestion: it would have been very interesting to see the micro-scale landscape in the bar window.
  2. As always... :) Impressed by your collection of aliens, impressed by your positioning and "scene setting" skills, impressed by the vehicle.
  3. It is always very nice to see an "all LEGO" shots, without any background visible. :) Speeders are very well-built and nicely detailed - and in comparison with simple and straight lines of the buildings they look very good. Speaking of the pictures - one technical comment, if I may: try to rotate the picture a bit - so the horizontal lines are horizontal. Currently it looks like the thing is falling to the left. All close-ups are perfectly fine if the lines are not aligned, as these are POV shots. But this first one,I believe, could really benefit from this.

X] Counter-attack -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- We've received multiple messages from other Rebel groups. They all included a warning on the heavy Imperial presence and significant troubles during extraction. Some groups were lost in action, many were captured, and only a few were able to successfully escape the area. Fortunately, the group carrying the Suprosa supercomputer was one of them. It was decided then, that all Rebel groups remaining on Kuat surface will look for an alternative routes off planet. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Thankfully, despite a significant Imperial presence, there were still a few of the smugglers' dens remaining on Kuat with landing pads able to receive the standard freighter-size vessels. One of these was located on a reachable distance... After a few weeks march, the Wick's group finally reached the place - and some old friends were already waiting there with transport ready to lift-off. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Unfortunately, the group did not reach the place unnoticed...
  5. I did miss these stories very much. :)
  6. I would like to acquire a Metal eater, please.
  7. Location: F03 - Forring Tags: civil, building, land vehicle Terrain: Grass Plains Start of transmission #14. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- There is an old science and navigation beacon found on Forring, put there during the first wave of colonization, which Octan now could re-program and use in the upcoming conflict. But the technology is outdated, and an engineer with some specific knowledge is needed to update the software and re-purpose some machinery within...
  8. Oh... i just realized that: - there is a typo in topic name ("doirama" instead of "diorama") - the subforum is wrong - as this is not a contest entry Could i ask our moderators to correct these things, please?
  9. This is my contribution to LatLUG Star Wars diorama presented on December 20th in Riga Wintercon event. The holidays have ended by now, and, while I've been finally unpacking the boxes from the event in order to disassemble the things, I've decided to make proper pictures of the MOC as well. We've decided to make a group build on SW Original Trilogy Tatooine setting. My task was to create an Imperial outpost setup for the diorama. As the shuttle was staying on my desk for some time now, this was quite an obvious decision for me. The Shuttle, speeder bikes and gantry are from LEGO official sets, everything else is own creations. The whole MOC s quite an experience for me - both in building and organization. Furthermore, the need to transport the thing had forced me to "think modular". And, yes, this is my largest creation to date. Here is the full layout from the event: PS. I also would like to thank Zaael and goatman461 for ideas, inspiration and support.
  10. Arrived and awesome! Thank you again for the prizes.
  11. Wow. Cool. Thank you.
  12. Thanks guys! The whole idea for the MOC came when I was experimenting with different plant techniques. Thanks. :) I've had the idea to include the Octan printed plates here and there on the base... but decided it would be against the rules, both in AG and in the contest. But the idea was tempting, I agree. These are simple 1*2 jumper plates.
  13. Outpost 18. This MOC, build with a 32*32 studs restriction in mind, is illustrating the flora and fauna diversity on one of the planets explored during the Third Wave of Colonization. Thanks to oxygen-nitrogen atmosphere the open-cycle suits are available for usage and gas masks are not needed. However, it is not yet possible to fully get rid of these bulky hard-suits due to some objective (and possibly dangerous) reasons. The exploration base (of which a small part is shown) is build from standard tube modules on a geologically stable spot. Although the MOC's goal is to show the "Alien Life" diversity, the module is included for scaling purposes. Base size is exactly 28*28 studs, so I am able to add some overhangs without worrying to break the 32*32 limitations. Face #1. Main view. Face #2. Face #3. Face #4. Some more close-ups. Part of the base and outer platform. Internal part of the base's corridor. The place came out rather small and narrow, so nothing fits there except for the gear. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- This MOC was made for the competition held on Bricker.ru in November 2015.
  14. Cool!
  15. Even if I have had the answers, I wouldn't have told you. :)
  16. What if, in this case, we do a "future development suggestion" or "future episode ideas" thread?
  17. Thanks for all your kind comments. Unfortunately, I totally lost track of the deadline, and started building on Sunday only, so I was able only to work on the initial "corridor layout" idea. And for a good build you just need to let the creation stay on the desk for a few days (or weeks ) - and then the improvement ideas will certainly come up... but this time I just lost this opportunity to my time management. Thanks. I remember some of the comments from Ep.VIII, I think, when someone mentioned that I should try to build in "true" minifigure scale, and not in the "playset" scale - so that's what I was attempting on this time: larger corridors, thicker walls, and more space. The colour scheme idea came from the observation that there's always too much LBG and DBG in the Imperial interior builds, and I wanted to apply some of the ideas tested in AG in this build as well. And I just don't have enough black bricks to do the authentic black version (but certainly want to try this out now). Thank you once again for this Sunday comment on the WIP picture offering to try something different from simple corridor.
  18. I am impressed. Based on your "in progress" pics, I thought the craft would be much smaller... and then I saw the final result.
  19. As usual, your ships are so impressive! I like the clever use of the new windshields there. And the interior is just a perfect example of how to do one.
  20. I really like how you do the shots with "all LEGO" backgrounds. And there's a very nice ceiling technique you have there.
  21. This is the next chapter of Wick Nole's story. Introduction. [soNE Freebuild] The Story Begins Chapter 1. [soNE Freebuild] A Fine Delivery Chapter 2. [soNE Freebuild] Unexpected Arrival Chapter 3. [soNE Ep. VII] "Before we leave this planet..." Chapter 4. [soNE Ep. VIII] "This is not the race you are participating in." Chapter 5. [soNE Ep. IX] Gathering Intel -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Wick's group together with a number of rebel troops were deployed together with other teams to infiltrate the computer databases aboard the Suprosa. The target was simple: get to any mainframe terminal and look for any encoded information packages - then download whatever is found and retreat back to troop transport. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- We were able to clear some debris and enter the inner hangar bay where the working terminal was finally found. However, as it always happens... in just a few minutes everything went wrong... -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- - "How much time do you need?!? We cannot hold them much longer! They will manage to open this blast door any moment now!" - "Hold them for a few more moments! I think I just found something!" - "The door is opening! I need every solder there! We need to hold against this counter-attack!" -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- And a few more close-ups.
