The main problem with "double weeks" is, imo, a significant increase of total game time (doubled, basically). It is +33% if every third week is "long", and +100% if every week is. Maybe, the solution here is to increase the resource mining volumes for "long" weeks (and to keep DP on the same level). But just increasing the week's length could do more harm than good. Occasional "long" week seems like an interesting idea, but I don't think this will make a big difference. Maybe, a different schedule for "long" week can be found (for example, no week during "challenge deadline" weeks; but, again, if we apply this to ch.2 - in August we will see 14-7-14-14...). Having said that, no vote option here for me.

I wanted my own ship since the first days in Andromeda, but it was too expensive to bring my old one here through the Gate. But not so long time ago Octan Corporation had researched spaceship mastery and launched the orbital shipyards on Farmolis: and here, above our new homeworld, the prices are finally affordable. "Galeopterus" is almost ready. Should be able to test it in flight very soon. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- OS-21.2C "Galeopterus" is a small transport/reconnaissance craft equipped with quantum field generator to hide its heat signature (hence, the "S" is added to standard Octan Corporation Space Vessel naming). The craft's purpose is to supply cover operation groups deep inside rivals' territory or alien-infected sectors. "Galeopterus" is also capable of doing reconnaissance missions - and in this case the rear cargo bay is loaded with surveillance equipment. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

Hm... checking resources again. Bob, I'm seeing 350 extra Biomass (the data shows 850, and my calculations show 500 - the difference is suspiciously similar to a planet domination bonus). Could you please check?

Also the question about scoring and credits. Bob, last week you mentioned that "spaceship interiors" are also accounted as Engineer's profession builds (+3 cr.) and awarded me these extra 3 credits for last week's build (week #8). But what about builds on weeks #6 and #7? They were also featuring interior.

Location: E09 - Castral Tags: civil, land/water vehicle, exploration Terrain: Grass plains, Mountains Start of transmission #09. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- I was discharged. Dr. Long's vote was the decisive one, and now I'm finally able to continue my travels across Andromeda. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- The board, however, decided that I should stay away from "active" sectors for a while, and sent me to Castral - a remote world on outer borders of Octan Corporation sector. I've never been this far "South" before. The task is to deliver some goods and equipment to Jebadiah Douglass, who is exploring Castral's flora and fauna for four weeks already. I certainly hope he'll be happy to receive these. The build: I've tried to do some SNOT rockwork this time. Not an easy task for me, but I'm satisfied with this first attempt. The hovercraft also included some SNOT tests, and now I will be including some of the ideas into challenge #2 build.

Thank you all for the comments and suggestions. As for the scoring... @Bob - I see that I've got +3 credits as a profession bonus, but I don't think this one counts as "engineering" build (also, for previous two weeks there were no extra credits for similar Axle interior scenes - and I totally agree with that). Could you please comment?

Another week had passed. I'm still stuck here. No doubt, the Axle is an awesome ship, but... three weeks is a long time. And doc says I'd probably have to stay a bit more.
