St. Nicholas Church (Estonian: Niguliste kirik, German: Nikolaikirche) is a medieval church building in Tallinn (Reval), Estonia. It was dedicated to Saint Nicholas, the patron of the fishermen and sailors. Originally built in the 13th century, it was partially destroyed in the Soviet bombing of Tallinn in World War II. The building itself has since been restored; however, as a church without its own congregation, it has not been used for regular religious activities since World War II. At present it houses the Niguliste Museum, a branch of the Art Museum of Estonia, focusing mainly on ecclesiastical art from the Middle Ages onward. It is also used as a concert hall. The model is built for a thematic exhibition in this very museum. Scale - 1:125 (one meter = 1 pin). There is no interior, but in the future there are plans to improve the model and add some interior spaces. The model is not an ideal copy, as there are some "creative allowances" caused by the strict deadline.

The interior for the keep was always part of the big plan, and I've finally been able to achieve some progress there.

[MOC] The Green Council - House of The Dragon

Such a great scene depiction! -
... another update for the castle landscape. This time a layout had to be a bit narrower due to table restrictions (so the village area behind the wall was omitted), but it now shows some castle area development. The area to the left of northerners' tent is built by https://www.instagram.com/bricklaas/; the rest is mine. There is a full extra 4-long section added in last 6 months, including the beginning of harbour area, couple ships, some houses rearrangement, and small vineyard (the one area I am especially proud of ).

I rarely buy sets on day one and on pre-order... but this is definitely one of those occasions.
-
Still quite a long way to go, but there is a significant milestone achieved - the keep is nearing its exterior being completed. Therefore, decided to share this in-progress pic.
-
No matter how thick the walls are - I'll still be using only double amount of bricks (slightly more as there be some internal connections between "layers" - but there won't be many). Only in places where there be cross-section - I'll have to close the gap between inner and outer fall faces. So it is not that bad for budget. :) Any suggestion how the inside can be detailed? My only idea at the moment is to cover the ground with cobblestone - there is a small test area visible. At the moment our group layout is 14baseplates long and 3-4 baseplates wide.
-
This is still a work-in-progress, but at least now it is ready enough to be shown so I could get the criticism and comments. :) The keep is far from completion at this stage; but all the main techniques for wall angles are done and tested, so only need more bricks now to build up. Also, I wanted to do a "proper thickness" walls to make it all more "realistic", but this also requires doubling the piece count. Probably, the result is still not thick enough, but I'll keep it as is.

EstLUG, Estonia.

This is such an impressive idea and execution, that i have to "steal" the same idea for our local LUG collaboration. Hoping that you would not be angry about this.

... and not anymore. The LUG member even manage to put these to basket, but upon payment the items were removed. That was quick.

FACTIONS: Introduction and Rules
WickNole replied to Darth Bjorn's topic in Factions: A Galaxy Divided Archives
You most certainly can. I will definitely be building something for the faction from time to time, but having other active members in the STG would definitely push me into participating more as well. -

*WickNole's shuttle entry has earned 22 XP (8xp, doubled for LTC, plus 1/3 of the average of all of the builds)* *goatman461's entry has earned 30 XP (13xp, doubled for LTC, plus 1/3 of the average of all of the builds)* *WickNole's ITT entry has earned 15 XP (11xp plus 1/3 of the average of all of the builds)* It was an Imperial landing craft once, but Hondo repurposed it to quite a sizeable cargo shuttle, utilizing all this inner space... and adding external cargo ramps to fit even more. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Once an honest light freighter, the Ghost has protected Lothal and the Spectres' rebel cell throughout the galaxy. Often unassuming, often underestimated. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- With all its technology and might, the Empire cannot stand up to good, and bad, people who fight for freedom. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- The build points are to be posted onto Q4 - Telos IV.

*Your entry has earned 20xp* Search and rescue: these were our only orders. No shooting, no causalities, no noise. And during the first minutes on Jedha streets it all even seem achievable. -=-=-=- -=-=-=-

*Your entry has earned 30 XP* Flight from Socorro to Tython was not an easiest one, and we had to wait for a formal approval from CFS to pass through their territory; but finally all the formalities were completed and we are able to land on this ancient world. We shall meet our contact here, and get the data on our next target.

:) We all did the models based on Season 1 data and 3d "fan-sources" available (just checked the one I used... and it is not there anymore). In my opinion, if you attempt a redesign based on latest data - this will result in a completely new model, with new shapes, angles and design solutions. So let the ship be a v1.0 in all her glory.

As with all current Razor Crests, the proportions will be off here or there until the blueprints of actual model are made public. I do enjoy seeing your solutions to some complicated places. Awesome work, as usual!

There are some new pieces used, but no "rare old" parts. Cockpit screen - still not sure; probably, brick-built for now. Stripes - its complicated. As the side panels are plate-built, not brick-built, it won't be possible to seamlessly integrate stripes. So, I am leaning towards custom stickers.
