  1. New mould. The face is absolutely true to the original design though.
  2. No idea. But it comes with a gold part to collect.
  3. Yes, but plenty of movements are possible. It ends up attaching to the back.
  4. Piraka is far the coolest of the sets. You just need to see better pictures of him. The brown, sand green, sand blue stuff is Ben 10. All Bionicle compatible off course.
  5. What you see is the four less exciting Bio sets of 2010.
  6. Not sure if the ripped me off in the employee store, but I paid nearly the same for 9641 (Lego education, 16 tubes, 1 pump, 2 big pistons, 2 small pistons, 1 tank, 3 switches, 5 T-connectors) than I did for the set in this review. Offcourse price of education sets may be more expensive because of lower sales volume.
  7. svetlega.cz equals legoland.cz equals some stupid site that has nothing to do with TLC or Legoland, and show materials that are marked confidential. They don't have any catalog because the catalog has not been released.
  8. Technic went studless because it's a better construction system. To claim it's because they can sell more bushings is like conspiracy theories. ******* Technic is for kids, kids need more steps to follow the instructions and build correct. I find it boring too, to add a few elements in each step, but then I'm not a kid in the lower end of the target group. Phneumatics, great but expensive. Hard to make a buisness on something that's too expensive.
  9. Just about five minutes ago, I stepped on my glasses and they are totally wrecked now. I haven't got a hawk's eye sight, so I'm sadly not able to comment on these photos. But I remember Gresh was mentioned, but that is a 2009 January set. Hardly anything new about that.
  10. Would be cool with a new wave of sets with different coloured soldiers and nastier pirates.
  11. 40: 8696, Bitil. 2008, 2nd half, Canister set. Bitil 41: 8691, Antroz. 2008, 1st half, Canister set. Antroz 42: 8924, Maxilos and Spinax. 2007, Titan set. Maxilos and Spinax .... Comments: Maxilos spending some quality time with Spinax.
  12. if you do both, you'll get splashes of nasty stuff up your trousers
  13. 1: Take whatever shirt you have. 2: Sew one part of a velcro strip onto it. 3: Glue the other part of that velcro onto a baseplate (or normal plate for less bending) 4: MOC
  14. I was just stating the obvious that power miners are a bigger seller than pirates. I hardly believe that takes a professor or a Lego employee to figure out. A few fans spending thousands, don't really compare to the average mom or kid grabbing a tempting box from the shelves. Which buisness discontinues a great selling product line ? I have a few of the new pirate sets, even the christmas calendar, and I love them. They are basic builds, but the minifigures are nice.
  15. There is a clutch with the torque written on it, and one without. Get those without, they work :-)
  16. PowerMiners are not mine more than it's yours. Why do you try and claim that ?
  17. Pirate is small buisness, power miners and similar are big buisness. You should all be glad that Lego makes room for small buisness too. I see the statement in the first post here, that the 2009 wave will be available till mid 2010. That is the only fact I see.
  18. Well done. I like the filming style.
  19. I did not promise to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth, when I joined EB. Why not just consider my previous post to be a joke ? Which it really was. Purple gears ? Go back maybe 10 pages and check if JINZONINGEN73 was the guy who predicted this, as a joke I presume Who know what first half 2010 brings, I'm sure you all will pretty soon.
  20. Claiming that Bionicle 2010 is a box full of translucent purple gears, is probably closer to the truth.
  21. Could it be that the geartrain results in axial forces on the 12 tooth bevel gear ? And that those forces push it against the double gear if the friction on the cross axle isn't sufficient ?
  22. Sorry, I see now in the original post that it says blades. The train you recieved is quite expensive.
  23. Duplo Train starter set You have recieved the motorized train, which a kid was avaiting, but now are going to sleep every night crying, because Lego sent some sword handles instead.
  24. Thank you. I was touched by your story. Thank you. May no child ever have to go through something similar. Well, sadly many probably does all over the world.
  25. Very true Mexico ftw.
