I hope Rogue One will still have the same gritty, Saving Private Ryan-esque feel they promised when it was first announced. I'm assuming it will since most people are overreacting about the reshoots, but you never know.

It is meant to be the X-Men universe though, and not an unprecedented move - DeadpoolReynolds was included in the travesty that was X-Men Origins so I don't blame them for setting him to be including in future X-Men movies, whenever those may be. Personally I think the Colossus and Negasonic inclusion was a good supporting cast, and didn't interfere too much with Deadpool's own plot. You do have a good point though, studios should be careful with how they add in supporting cast roles; i.e. the Justice League lead-in's in BatmanvSuperman were horribly done and confused rather than excited most people. With Deadpool, at least the X-Men fit into the universe and the story.

PSA - if directly embedding a Youtube video in your post, please put it in a spoiler tag so it helps with loading the page for everyone else. Having 20+ videos trying to load at once isn't good for anyone. Cocoon - Catfish and the Bottlemen

It wouldn't surprise me, it's been like this with all licensed products and whatever company Lego is partnered with. There's been so much Star Wars content coming out in recent times that it's reasonable Disney would want to maximize their products from said license; it could even be Lego trying to profit more and knowing they can raise the price, and still have people like us willing to pay for the sets. Star Wars has always been the most expensive of the licensed themes as well so I'm sure that doesn't help. PSA no experience with business or marketing here, this is just my guess.

I got bored from playing on my Wii in my last year of high school, and decided to pick up collecting Lego sets again. Been doing it on and off for the last few years, mostly when I have time and/or money to buy things.

Saw X-Men in theatres two weeks ago; alright and enjoyable if you don't think too hard about it.

The Princess and the Queen by George R.R. Martin. Great short read for anyone who's really into ASOIAF.

Like others have said previously, the source books almost always have more depth and a better story than movies/TV shows since, at the end of the day, the latter are just adaptations. It all depends on whether the adaptations are able to capture the best/most important plotlines of a book; i.e. sometimes it's better to not include a really complex part of a book for interpretation reasons. In contrast, film and television tend to romanticize the story more often than not.

Just bought myself the new 75150 set - personally I think it's a bit overpriced even for Star Wars but I'm getting paid on Monday so my budget can afford the hit. More importantly, it seems to be a pretty decent set by the reviews I've read online and I never owned a Darth Vader minifig up until now.

Enjoyed the movie as a whole, but my biggest gripes were: If you don't think too hard about the plot, it's pretty enjoyable.

I'm sure this has been brought up multiple times in other threads, but I cannot fathom why they would introduce a new, clunky blaster design. The old one they've used for the last few years has been great, as far as i know there was no really no reason to change it up.

Black Mass in theatres last night; Johnny Depp's performance was by far the most outstanding aspect.
