The Purge 3 in theatres on Saturday. A lot of the movie was rather predictable but I still enjoyed it a lot. At this point though, it feels like one of those series they should consider retiring.

Hi Spear, welcome to Eurobricks!

I wonder who they'll cast as Uncle Ben in Homecoming; if Marvel got somebody as young+attractive as Marisa Tomei to play Aunt May, Uncle Ben is going to have be a male model or something.

Chances are you're better off just waiting for the Special Edition in October; there could even be a sale for that on Black Friday, but I doubt it. Still, you should definitely look into the SE when the time comes, it's still a great game without the remaster. I bought Civ V this morning just because it was so cheap. Help.

That was quick; your turn, sir.

Is "importing" on iTunes worth the risk of removal?
Leo604 replied to Transparency for Effect's topic in Culture & Multimedia
There's probably some licensing thing that allows them to detect which files were purchased in which region. You could maybe try manually adding your foreign files into iTunes rather than a direct Import but honestly I wouldn't risk it if you want to keep everything else in your library. -
There also shouldn't be any need to try to include characters from the Prequels. For one it's been 59+ years since the time of the Galactic Republic, but this is the story of Finn, Rey, Kylo Ren, etc. Just trying to dredge up the past would overshadow what Disney are trying to do with their iteration of Star Wars. That being said, pretty much everything Samuel L. Jackson said in that interview was in jest and I'm pretty sure no one took it seriously as a sign Mace would be included in some future work.

I've always interpreted Affleck's Batman's mindset in not caring about whether the bad guys die or not as compared to Bale's Batman (i.e. the TDK Batman refused to kill anyone personally) stems from the DCU Batman's longer fight against criminals in Gotham. Both he and Alfred seem more weathered in BvS and probably gave up on trying to hold onto every ideal in the book in the process of fighting evil.

If Darth Maul can get chopped in half and also survive falling down to whatever that pit led to then come back as a semi-robot, then Mace Windu's odds shouldn't be that bad.

Relevant gif: So I've already burned through ~$25 CAD on Borderlands 2, Payday 2, and now Crusader Kings II. Anyone's paycheck starting to already thin up this week?

Rereading Halo: Glasslands by Karen Traviss. Great start to a trilogy of post-Halo 3 books for anyone who's really into the series' universe.

James Earl Jones has been (officially) confirmed to be voicing Darth Vader in Rogue One: http://www.ew.com/article/2016/06/23/darth-vader-rogue-one-star-wars I mean, I think we all pretty much knew he wouldn't pass up the chance but it's great to know for sure. Rogue One being a standalone film won't have any effect on how fans see it; that will still depend on the same factors people judge any movie by. If anything, I don't think any Star Wars movie could be worse than TPM in terms of writing and certain characters.

See spoiler for response (potential book spoiler ahead): It makes sense that Jon for snapping like that at the end - after the certain someone, unnamed for spoiler reasons, was killed on the field you'd want to destroy/mercilessly beat the person responsible. Not to mention everything else the Boltons did to his family. Agreed on the third point.

http://abcnews.go.com/Entertainment/ben-affleck-happy-batman-script/story?id=40040351 So it seems Ben Affleck is taking his time with the script for the next Batman movie. Personally I'm thrilled; I really liked The Town when I first watched it in high school, so I'm fairly confident in what he'll direct/produce for us (more so than Zack Snyder, to state the obvious). I was also pleasantly surprised by how good of a Batman he was so soon after the Dark Knight trilogy, but credit also goes to the cinematographers with that Arkham Asylum-esque fight scene. If DC plays this right they can still salvage what's left of their cinematic universe.
