  1. Land rover wheels in front, bugatti wheels in back, just rim design needs to be unified, so they have that big inset, where all the suspension components can be.
  2. AWD will make your life just harder. As said before, rwd, no suspension, as big of a steering lock as possible and some caster in the front.
  3. Also, go with front caster, this way when you steer, the inner rear wheel will get unloaded and you will have an easier time breaking traction in the rear.
  4. Rwd, no rear diff (in real life drift cars have welded diffs).
  5. The white connectors are stiff enough, the main problem is in the exposed axle in the liftarm just before the 8z gear. That's allowed to twist too much.
  6. Triangle windows in the doors, rear view mirrors added, grille finished, hood lock and hinges finalised.
  7. There is no room for a LPE v8. For this we would need to increase the scale. It'll have a fake v8 with valves and stuff, and alternatively electric motors for R/C.
  8. Some progress has been made. Hood hinges turned out very well.
  9. Except the landrover wheels, they all suffer from the same issue. The ET of the wheel is 0 instead of a positive number. :P Raised the rear end a little and beefed up the leaf springs, because the rear end is quite heavy and they were quite saggy. lego charger engine looks lost in the engine bay Front end starting to look like something
  10. Few teasers from the front: Rear (so far)
  11. Trying to fit into the existing structure was the main hurdle. If designed from scratch, this would be much better.
  12. Too much would need to be redesigned. Tried to fit it into the existing structure. I think it was an interesting thought experiment. I always enjoy challenges like this and we have all learned a bit from this.
  13. Would it be ok if i develop this on todays live stream?
  14. Would doing a pushrod setup be acceptable?
  15. By "wagging" you mean the whole thing moving too much in the lateral direction? Try triangulating the lower wishbone. I'd even make it a multilink at this point.
  16. Give me more detailed pics of what you have and i make you a good suspension tomorrow. Strike that... after looking closer i can see what you have. Will do something tomorrow.
  17. The gray 5l liftarm in the last pic is unnecessary and just hinders everything.
