  1. yeah that's the genius part...absolutely! i did it half of the height, im trying to figure out how to add other 2 gears to have a 5+r
  2. eheh but it looks nice anyway ^^ the object seems really well modelled :)
  3. yeah i dont like so much the bike shot because it seems 3d....but it actually exists :P
  4. this is the stuff i do :P https://vimeo.com/46960752
  5. this guy made the best 3+R i've ever seen till now... but im upgrading it saving a lot of space....:P in a while we're gonna have a new extremely small 3+r gearbox (wich im gonna use on my Lancia)
  6. oh yeah i see! actually i don't know wich one i got hmmm...ok in the meanwhile I'll correct my ldraw file :P thanks for the advice! edit: i don't have that piece in my parts list...well...let's pretend that the one i used is the right one :P at least for now! 2edit: but im 99% sure i have the right ones at home :P
  7. hmmm...nice question... i don't know, maybe the guy didn't think about that...i mean he could have typed 8880 car, found the first aviable description and copy/pasted... it should be something about fair play, but the 80% of people on this planet don't know anything about fair play
  8. hmmm im not updated i guess :P wich ones are the latest? i thought i was using those from the offroader 8297
  9. eheh i apologize if im not precise :P it's quite tricky to put everything in the right way on Ldraw...to me this is just an overall plan...i've never used cads to build my models, i prefer the oldschool way :D in 10 days im gonna finally put my hands on my loved bricks again :D
  10. ok, so, i've spent some days to workout how to make a small 3+R gearbox, and i guess that this one should work fine....but i have to test it manually :P btw these are the proportions of my car Bigger size: http://oi50.tinypic.com/b6ys83.jpg
  11. i like it! except for the back but the overall look is really nice :) welldone mate!
  12. Ahah but im one the lazyest guys this planet knows XD
  13. Hahah lipko :D Id love to be a mechanical engineer like you but im so bad at maths :-P Id like to see your 3D stuff
  14. im a vfx artist, i also do carpentery stuff and i like everything that involves "BUILDING" XD legos totally influenced my life lol
  15. yeah i completely agree....thats the reason why im fighting with Lcad since 3 hours :D im trying to make the "final" one lol
  16. i have to admit that sometimes all those wires (expecially in small models) are quite ugly... something that i don't like too is the fake V engine with the electric motor hidden somewhere....i dont know, it may be only my fixation but id like to have the engine where it's supposed to be on the real thing
  17. yeah i totally agree with legomuppet...ill spend all my money buying pieces :D some days ago i've been in westfield (london) to buy a second lipo battery to power my lancia fulvia....oh god i love that shop so much!
  18. I think that i will never buy instructions for a simple reason: more than half of the fun is hitting your head on the wall to find a solution for your moc... I mean i downloaded the sheepo 7+R just to see how the concept worked... Then i started going crazy to find my own way to make a gearbox :P And about selling instructions... Ill always give them for free so someone smartr than me could improve my designs and teach me something... To me knowledge has to be Free :)
  19. I dont know if for you is the same but all my cars last only the time to shoot some pictures and a video xD ive never exhausted my batteries with a single model :-D
  20. I really hope i can make it only using ldraw
  21. Lol i dont know then :D btw who cares! Talkin on forums can easily turn sarcasm in rudeness and viceversa :)
  22. duuude take it easy! Im only joking, thats exactly what i mean... You usually seem a bit sharp with everyone, theres no need to say "i can consider not posting" have a laugh sometimes when someone wants to joke with you :-)
  23. Yeah mate look at the first image i posted... To be sincere i had to stretch horizontally the original picture a little bit but it still looks ok :-)
