Got the Hover Hunter and Overborg Attack for Christmas today. I'm only a Dragon and a Destructoid away from completing the winter wave! The two sets both utilize an well-thought-out technique to get the blades moving using little wheels. Getting the function to work on the OBA was a little tough when on a loose (tablecloth) surface, but both sets function as advertized.

Absolutely loving the Cavern. Here I was hoping they'd give up the Eris+Rogon story (spoiler from the pointless cartoon), now this solidifies it (no crossbreeding, Chima, please!) for another season. The Outland base, always looked really nice to me. I'm hoping that we'll find some sign of Shadowind armor inside, but that's just wishful thinking. It also looks like the Outland Base's walls close into a box shape, which doesn't surprise, as it seems to be a theme with the Lion buildings.

It was for a promo that I believe expired a couple weeks ago. Not quite sure though. Won't hurt to check the local Toy's R Us though. I got mine after purchasing a half off Bug Obliterator and Crater Creeper. It's also important to note that the poster is nearly 3 feet in length by 2 feet in width.

I never said anything about Summer.

Most of the recent findings regarding a "spring wave" are more supplementary or considered secondary themes to most. This has happened in at least the previous two years (though not to the extent of 2014). Don't expect there to be more Ninjago stuff to be revealed until the Toy Fair.

That's not entirely true, I'd think. Meca One not only was self-aware, but was also in complete control of the robot armies (as apposed to being the general). According to the mini-movie it appears that Meca One could clone himself as well.
-
It was from a BrickJournal article featuring prototypes of the Undersea Explorer. Mark Stafford (the set's designer) provided images for the article. It can be found on page 9 here.
-
Not to mention that Dr. Brains in Atlantis is the same Dr. Brains in Power Miners (the Undersea Explore was meant for Power Miners as well). I think it's safe to say that the Sentai Mountain sticker on the Mechdragon is just an easter egg. A shame, but cool all the same (that somewhat rhymes!).

And to think I thought you survived the previous brain combustion... I took a look at the instruction booklet and it's pretty clear. That would be an amazing crossover (please at least refrence Exo-Force in the show PLEASE!)

Toys R Us is currently holding a deal where if you buy, $10 worth of Ninjago sets, you get a free (and beautiful) double sided poster, as well as a "sneak peak" code that unlocks four and a half minutes of Episode 27: The Surge.- 4,591 replies

Never has that theme been given such an accurate description (considering fog is all that the outlands appear to be at the moment). Anyway. Even if characters are sidelined they still have physical minifigure potential. I just don't want to see these characters... well...- 4,591 replies

I have a feeling that there won't be another season after this one until the Movie premieres.- 4,591 replies

I thought it was kind obvious... to be honest. Anyway, I'm not liking the 'villain' being a rag doll piggybacking a possessed crab bot. The sets can be so misleading. Speaking of all the sets, they all show up in the first two episodes. Expecting some Summer sets to start showing up in the series soon. Toy Fair also can't come fast enough.

I'm actually surprised that literally every single set of the Winter wave... Also, I'm really disappointed that Teletoon (once again!) got the episodes first! You'd think that the US (possibly the biggest market for Ninjago) would get them first. Kinda urks me, don't expect me to participate in any more of the crappy camera shots from the TV anymore. I don't wanna be spoiled.- 4,591 replies

Move all Spoilers from the show in their respective thread! Even then please place all spoilers in...

Now that I think about the Mechdragon, it does have that Great Devourer level of epicness. If I may point out, Garmadon's Dark Fortress was released during the first half of 2011, and The Fire Temple that Summer. i.e. the first year finale set was released in the first half of the year, with a major location to lead the Summer wave. Mechdragon and Borg Tower/Sensei's School anyone? Maybe your idea about the Lloyd battery for a final battle isn't that far off, JayWalker.
-
Too many assumptions. -Garmadon's bio does indeed imply he's still kinda evil, but it never confirms it. Many stories have implied that their anti-hero may still be more evil, only for them to turn out as a completely converted hero. Typical hype ploy. -NRG Lloyd powering the dragon is plausable, but what if the battery is just a play feature? What if Lloyd doesn't show up until the dragon is already downed? -About Nya. The longer the wait, the bigger the hype, if she is even released later in the year at all that is. -Having normal Zane in a limited edition set isn't strange at all. Who knows, maybe that version of him will show up in a summer set? -I'd also like to add that there is so much story potential beyond Zane's story arc, I have a feeling that the Nindroids aren't going to show up until later in the series. Also (I know I'm a big time offender here, but...) shouldn't this be discussed in the show's thread?

I guess I can chalk myself off at getting the Ninjacopter at the lowest price. $27 at Fred Meyers (the NC is priced at $49.99 there) after discount. The other sets I bought were also all relatively 50% off as well.

Dawn of Ages: Chapter 2, Part 1 Stalkhead Beach

Thank you. If I may, I'd like to offer you all with a couple of pieces of trivia that went on with the story. -I felt that "Head of the Garrison" was too generic of a name for the character that would branch both Legonardo's and my MOCs together. Thus he was given the name Maisley. -Cornovaria was originally just a name for the Mystic Isle the story was placed, but I took it a step further by adding some very corn-y puns into the names of characters and locations. See if you can spot some in this very MOC. -Originally Nordoric and Tristain were not going to show up until much further down the road of the story. I couldn't resist, and they fitted in with Cornovaria Chronicles quite nicely without affecting their own background stories. -
Excellent episode. It actually had legitimate suspense (very, very briefly mind you!). I'm actually looking forward to next season.
-
Now his appearance matches the horrible casting for his voice. Tom Kenny's voice doesn't fit the character, at all. (I'm in no way criticizing his skills as a VA.)

Thank you all again for the comments and the constructive criticism! It does have multiple layers to it (now I regret not getting a better shot), but I understand the reasoning here. Perhaps if the lower layer was out further than the top layer... Preparation of Ch. I has seen many different rock formations, so if I don't get the credit now, there is always the future. -

Click the #LEGONinjagoRebooted link under several of their posts. Even though I haven't ruled out that the date may be false, can you provide a source for this "elsewhere?"- 4,591 replies

Clearly I haven't beaten you all hard enough with my Inflated Price Hammer. Stand still please. KABLAMO!! Ooh! Look at what's left! However, that particular set is fantastic and was an excellent choice for a Christmas gift. That smile on your kid's face is gonna be more than worth the extra $5.
