The Lego Movie 2 - The Second Part 2019 Set Discussion
PenPlays replied to Fenghuang0296's topic in Special LEGO Themes
There's only been three in the past five years, including The Rexcelsior. I don't quite see how you can be tired of them seeing as there have been so few? Perhaps you're tired of having to spend a lot on microscale sets for a couple minis? That's what Bricklink is for. -
The Lego Movie 2 - The Second Part 2019 Set Discussion

Odd. I had heard the idea tossed around elsewhere that the box distribution was 3 of each character. Simply put: Perfectly balanced, as all things should be. -
Why do that when an official Wyplash is included in the Monastery of Spinjitzu?
-
If you just want a ton of Kruncha and Nuckal, sure.

It's from 2014. Ultra Agents and NINJAGO started off with them. Been mostly in NINJAGO since, but showed up in the first Ant-Man set, and in some of the Ultimates from NEXO Knights. -

Same thing happened with the Ultimate Batmobile polybag. Were you able to access the webpage for the alternate builds? -
Concerned about these myself, but at a glance, these issues look really easy to remedy.

Ninjago: Masters Of Spinjitsu TV Show Thread
PenPlays replied to Lance's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
Yes, LEGO is releasing sets based off of the first two seasons (with a touch of the third). They're remakes of old sets but with designs more similar to the TV show. It's frequent that Ninja get new masks and suits. Nya's colors were maroon and azure blue before the movie came out, hence the color choice. No one knows how this plays into the show.- 4,591 replies

Yes. In fact, it's been that way for the past month. You still might be waiting another month.
-
No one can be certain at this point. Official images are uncharacteristically late at this point, or so I feel. There isn't a predictable time frame, regardless.
-
It would seem that the Bricktober Pack is a Black Friday doorbuster at US LEGO Stores. You have to spend $50 to get it, and it'll only be available in store, that day only.

We only know that Lasha and Spitta are somewhere in the mix due to leaks, aside from Pythor who is quite obvious in the image. We also know that we're getting at least one of each Stone Warrior (the assumption would be excluding Kozu, but time will tell). Other than that, should we focus on their heads, we know we're for sure getting, Kruncha, Nuckal, and Wyplash. I think it's interesting. All of these sets are either from the pilots, or seasons 1 and 2. But the Overlord, is based off his Golden Master design from Season 3. It seems he's the only outlier, with the exception of Nya who is dressed in her Ninja garb in most sets she appears in (which is quite a lot, all things considered).
-
We don't know yet. Though judging by the fact the episodes coming out around the launch of these sets are a special, the response to your question is: probably both.
-
Everything that will leak until the release of the remastered sets, will be for the remastered sets. Unless, of course, there's something actually based off of previous material being released in there somewhere.
-
Just so we're all clear, the leaked pictures of the supposed Spinjitzu sets that were making the rounds are fake. The "leaker" was some kid doing a school project on false information. He certainly got his audience.

When they leak or get revealed.

The Lego Movie 2 - The Second Part 2019 Set Discussion

You could argue that those are paraphrased quotes, but were definitely before/after opinions all the same. And it happens that way every time a new theme name/concept is leaked early. -
That same source (LEGO Customer Service) has also gone out to say that they'll only be available at LEGO Stores, on top of saying that the Harry Potter Bricktober set is exclusive to Barnes and Nobles. So at this point, it seems, not even LEGO knows.

Discard. Don't mind me. Wrong thread.

Let us remember that it's been said that TLNM was in production until two weeks before it released (most likely due to creative differences). It's actually quite nice to hear that they'll be done within a month before the movie releases.
-
We have no idea. People will speculate many things, but we truly have no idea.
-
NYCC is less than a month away. We might even get more sets revealed as well. TLNM also suffered from too many cooks in the kitchen. I wouldn't be too worried at this point.

It's really interesting too. Technic, though strong as it is, was most definitely bolstered by Bugatti hype (it's a good thing). Classic also includes Building Bigger Thinking on the LEGO Shop website, so I'd assume that they'd share earnings as well. Creator includes Expert as well, and would imagine they're tied together too. That would mean that, with ordinary releases, and without a movie to back it, NINJAGO earned that spot all on it's own. Meaning it beat Star Wars and City to the punch. I dare say, that's unheard of, and quite promising, as well.
-
They normally don't show up until September. Though I think last year was early because someone got a hold of a retailer catalog, or something similar.

But... What if it's proportionate to the TV show's design? I can definitely see something at that size at this price point.
