  1. From what I've heard, Hidden Side is treated as something outside of the three-year cycle. I recall a designer mentioning it, but I don't recall which. They said the theme will last as long as there's interest. I also would take whatever BrickFanatics says with a pinch of salt, regarding GhostBusters. I wouldn't be surprised if something gets developed, but we'll just have to wait and see. Why don't we discuss the theme instead of speculating it's death while its certainly still around.
  2. The YouTube shorts are the "TV show." When a book description mentions things, don't take it all as gospel. Sure, it's not exactly a TV show, but that communicates the easiest when writing these descriptions, which, more often than not, end up containing false info, regardless of context.
  3. Probably a US specific deal. Ninjago City has been retired in Australia for months.
  4. Keep in mind that D2Cs don't leak with full launch waves. If a Ninjago City set is gonna happen, we won't know until closer to its launch, whether it is leaked during the production/distribution process or officially announced.
  5. It would seem that, with the reveal of Overwatch 2, perhaps people can be hyped for more Overwatch, and require new LEGO sets. A lot of what was seen in the reveal trailer seems to match up well with the leaked names. Wonder what the deal is with all this "cancellation" business.
  6. Which, according to leaks, has 9 minifigures in it.
  7. Bernie the big beetle coughed it up in the Desert of Doom in The Fire Chapter. It had been living in it's tummy for these past few years because it digests so incredibly slowly.
  8. So it looks like they all wear fresh ninja garbs, but they wear motion trackers and VR headsets over them. Very interesting. Wouldn't be surprised if those suits without the headsets and trackers ended up as the "new suits" for a 2020 Summer Wave.
  9. Pretty sure the "TV Show," is the online series they showed the first episode of around launch. Don't look too deep into it.
  10. LEGO has a device check website for all their apps.
  11. Yep. You can only get it on devices that have augmented reality capability. It shows up in some stores, but it'll tell you you can't download it, if that's an issue.
  12. Depends on your region. For the US, they'll be available everywhere.
  13. You could also ask that same question about any of the six themes they chose on their graphic as well.
  14. Just so we're clear, LEGO, being a privately owned company, are not obligated to tell you the full truth about sales of their product. Just because they list a theme, doesn't mean that its more successful than those that are not, and those that aren't listed may be more successful than those that are.
  15. Point still stands:
  16. Actually, it doesn't say anything about NINJAGO City, regardless if you're referring to 2019 or 2020. Set names don't ever imply future D2Cs. Neither does skipping a year (look at Marvel and DC).
  17. Well if Leaf is indeed getting 17 sets, than we're just one set away from the supposed "leak" I posted having more credence, as the leaker-person would needed to have known more than 14 sets were coming out.
  18. Should the "leak" have any merit, I believe it would be in reference to the Neo-Classic style that Benny's Spaceship accomplished, but it all being like that (as opposed to 'just kinda' like that). I'll be honest here, as much as I'd love a Neo-Classic Space theme, or a new constraction theme, I fell that the loss of an Exo-Force reboot would be a substantial one. But that's why I posted this info here in the first place. Stir the pot to get people wild if something like that was even considered.
  19. Nah, it's a 4chan user. That's exactly what they're saying.
  20. Thought it relevant to put this here. Admittedly, I only really wanted to bring this up here so that, should it, in the off-chance, turn out to be true, the world should know what was considered before the theme was greenlit, and what we would be missing. Image is a bit big... It should be said that, the supposed "Clikits-like" theme has been discussed around here on Eurobricks at some point or another (called "DOTS"). This could give more credence to this info, but it could also help make it look more legit, if it is, indeed, a fabrication. I should also mention that there are 14 sets leaked with the codename "Leaf" so far. By the look of the leaks that happened along side it, I'd wager that they would, indeed, be a 1HY launch, with more to come in the future, if at least 4 more sets in 2HY. And, regarding the source of the image, I got this from a mutual who, unfortunately, is not aware of the source of this info, either. To reiterate, it could be bogus for all we know, but worth mentioning in the event of it being true.
  21. It's Parker from Hidden Side. Either it's a print test or from an unknown set. The only potential leaked NINJAGO head is the black one with the digital blue and red designs (based on set names, at least), but that might just be the head for the Series 19 Blacktron dude.
  22. Not quite, if they produce a smaller amount of sets overall. That way they aren't losing money by producing enough for global distribution, but rather just for online retailers' distribution centers.
  23. Wait. Which old Creator Set? I'm surprised I hadn't noticed.
  24. More of the same, but more locations instead of vehicles, and actually including the ghosts in the sets rather than just possessed citizens.
  25. In December, some sets do release a week or two before launch, but I'm talking about officially released sets on December 1st, if not the day after Black Friday. It usually isn't just a single set per theme, but LEGO seems to be trying out a whole bunch of "fun" new ways of releasing product, and this is just another.
