We have a winner!

Mmm. Frost and salt on the bumper.

Yep I've had dreams about finding Lego or loose change for years and then waking up and realizing that I have none of it is always annoying.

Ah home sweet home. I haven’t set foot in Alabama in over 2 decades and I dream of the day when I can dig my hands into some Alabama red earth again, with scent of sassafras and the taste of boiled peanuts. Don’t miss the water moccasins and cotton mouths though.

I use a drawing table on flat mode and a drop cloth laid over it so that pieces don't roll away.

Pneumatic Idea
Rook replied to mo_'s topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Your idea is worthy of posting on CUUSOO. Here's the EB thread about how to sign up and use it. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=60874&pid=1088885&st=0entry1088885 -
Power Functions XXL motor...

That and maybe using the Cuusoo Thread. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=60874&pid=1088885&st=0entry1088885 -
That's awesome. Thanks for the computations!

My Portuguese is good, sadly I can only speak it. Never went to school to learn how to read and write it. Welcome.

Looks like you used a skateboard as the wheels for the casket carrier.

I think you missed our point. I think both Si-Mocs and I were drooling, we were just razzing him for calling a purple ship "Pink". Nightmare, I think though you really need to make one in "Pink" now. Having two fighters, a purple and a pink, lined up next each other would be sick! Like this. I call dibs on driving the purple one!

The hairy legs are a nice touch.

Personally, Perdo & Iceman I wouldn’t worry about it. There isn’t much difference between this two models and yet there is enough (note the design differences on the head, guns, and neck). This is kind of like posting a modified set. There are a lot of similarities between these two on the legs. If Iceman intends to profit from it, then Pedro you should raise a stink about it.

Mmm. The B-Wing is very nice. Like that you have it displayed on an angle.

It has appeal? I don’t ever see kids in that isle. What do see is it showing up in preschool and nurseries. I’m guessing cost and fewer breakable pieces.

Hasbro's Kre-o! Is Lego seriously going to let this happen?
Rook replied to Omegablue's topic in General LEGO Discussion
It’s not surprising at all that Hasbro is trying to get a slice of the biggest toy pie. The way the court case went against Lego ® a few years ago, basically any one can make a brick of any shape as long as it has “slight” differences. You’ll see on a lot of the “copied” bricks there are very very very subtle differences. A single crease, dent, angle, bevel, and wow look it’s completely different! Well at least to the courts. Biggest thing that still sets Lego apart is gripping power and plastic quality. As long as they keep that up they still have a product worthy of purchasing and collecting. -
Looks purple, cool, but purple.

Man talk about getting an eye injury from that! Whoa!

One of those cases where common sense is uncommon. Next we’ll need warning labels on sunglass, windshields, windows, telescopes, small pools of rain water, etc. saying don’t look at the sun though this. Might as well start putting warnings on all food products saying over eating of this product will result in obesity. And warnings on prophylactics saying use of this product may result in accidental pleasure. Natural Selection. If a person is not smart enough to figure out that if something hurts then they probably shouldn’t do it, then please let them continue. It can only help to improve the gene pool. Great example of this is walking in busy city areas wearing headphones or texting. Note the several hundred deaths a year in each major city simply because people plow though life clueless to their in environment. We have brains for a reason. Failure to use them can only result in failure to remain.

I'm always busy. I just took a few days off of a large scale project to do some contest entries.

Ah ACPin you kill me. I always have a good laugh when I click on a new post and look at the image and go wow! This is amazing who is this. Then I look to left and oh yeah of course, ACPin. Still I love it. I’m sure this means you’re in the middle of building a full scale version of this. If so can’t wait to see it.

Nope, not glued. Glue + Lego = Makes me sick. If you look closely at the trans and white frame under the ship that is the key. Read the description between the two images again and when I take it apart I’ll take a picture of just the frame. Ah found an image I didn't use that you can see the frame in better.

Micro Scale Pod Racer: PCHLUG 101 Challenge Podracing! 101 pieces with frame and driver. ;) It’s hard to see but if look closely you’ll note that the frame is built off a single 1x1x1 5 studded brick. The pods are supported at 45 degree angles from the center brick and the sled is support at about a 20 degree angle. Coming forward from the center point are two trans poles support the weight of the engines and keep it from tipping forward at center point of the frame.

Park with memorial is good. You can do a shout out to family or yourself as the town “hero”.
