Yeah you’ll have waves of topics with different twists. Lego should have stayed yellow. However once you’ve gone fleshy you can never go back. Maybe a MOD can merge the topics.

The Venator is from the polybag set. I just added a piece or two probably. Though now I've removed it because the scale for it was off. I've instead added in a few ships from the Advent Calendar.

The sailboat I've done before and I've seen other builders use the same 2 brick technique.

Just goes to show that the will is greater than disability. When I read the title I was thinking learning disability, being diagnosed myself, but after reading that I’m proud to be a member of a community that continues to amaze me at various levels. Keep building. ;)

Yeah I might add a few more ships in docking positions before I display it in April. There's two small ships flying around and the micro SWU set landing. I think I’ll add another 1-2 docked.

On angle 1 your brick is not laid the same as others thus it might be throughing off your calculations. Bojan has an answer that I'm sure is completely correct but I don't remember enough about math to even explain it. If you break it down to simpler math, you basically have 7 slight angles that (if you change your hinge brick at angle 1) would equal 90 degrees (triangle equals 180 degrees minus the right angle in the corner). So you've got 90 divided by 7 equals 12.857142. So about 12.9 degrees angle at each hinge. Note that is only true if you change the hinge at angle 1, as it is turned in where the other are turned out.

When I moved my “small” collection 8 years ago. I put sets into zip lock bags. Some times I’d partially disassemble them ad put them into several bags. Then dumped them into large rubber-made’s. Since then my collection has grown and I’ve shifted from collecting sets to being a builder. So every thing is pretty much shredded and in color & piece coded groups. So I’d do the same. Zip lock them by group types and then box them. That way if a box is damaged or dropped the bricks don’t get thrown all over the place. Like they say, if looks like it might get messy, double up on your protection.

Ah well giving up a MOD spot for a job is well worth it. If to be promoted you must first be demoted, then it is well worth it.

I'd love to see several "common" games in Lego form.

Yeah every time they have one of those AFOL surveys on Lego.com I always ask for more animals. They have done quiet a few since I started asking but Duplo has way more selection. A zoo/safari/jungle line would be great. Kind of like a Jane Goodall style, and not a dino hunter style. More Green Peace and less Captain Planet. Can you imagine almost every major zoo in the world carry Lego in the gift store. I’d like to see pose able: tiger, lion, puma, deer, moose, dolphin, whale, zebra, hippopotamus, rhinoceros, bison, water buffalo, and while they’re at it a manatee.
