  1. Certainly do! The attention to detail makes this more than pleasing to admire.

I got one of each set, an extra of the UFO set, and one battle pack. So not a lot but still enough that looks like there's an army.
  3. Easy: FutureTron and BlackTron. I moved to Brazil right when they came out and by the time I returned I had little interest in Lego.
  4. Tell him thumbs up! It’s better than a lot of builders that “claim” to be 13!
  5. Yeah looks like you’re making a robotic kitchen cabinet with automated security!

    Canadian Eh?

I'm in but thinking maybe more like BattleBots® meets Ninjago!

Two more weeks and then I have to go take it down!
  8. "Converting pool table"! I cleared the Lego out of my rec room so I could one day buy a pool table!
  9. Seems like structure needs to be about 2-4 studs taller. Car dealerships tend be spacious with tall ceilings.
  10. Crazy Canadian stalkers! No really what Province/Territory?
  11. Welcome back to the land of the living then. :D
  12. Awesome, always wondered if someone had figured how do that without damaging them.
  13. Cool idea the main question would be stud location. Since the newer base plates have “bald spots” for the printed areas. I a lot of base plates but like wise I agree building a classic Lego City with printed base plates is the way to go. Personally I'd want about 54 base plates (6 quadrants of 9) to build a proper city and that would be pretty pricy.

Great story work. I'd love see you turn this into a comic strip or stop motion movie.
  15. I picked up a box of Series 6 at lunch yesterday, last night I finished going through my box of Series 6 Minifigures and thought of this:
  16. So what are the benifets of that site verses say Flickr or EB?

    Canadian Eh?

I've found I prefer to just buy a box at Walmart. Take them home, sit on the sofa, watch TV, and feel them up in the privacy of my home. Then return whatever I don't want.
  18. Yeah I lived in Brasil for 3 years and (10-12 years old) and didn't get Lego even once while living there. My dad's salary was about $250 USD per month for a family of 5. So buying Lego would have been outrageously expensive compared to income/cost of living.

Thanks, I of course liked mine more, that's ego for ya , but I like doing my first collaboration more than the MOC. Feeling like I knew enough about Lego to finally have someone build something miles away and being able to just click it into place the day of was an awesome. _Publius_ is also about 10-20 years older than me and you can see it in his building style. It’s very Classic Space, and brought a new level of enjoyment to me for the uniqueness of Lego through out the past decades. Almost like being able to build with my older brother again.
  20. Yeah it probably would have been cooler to have them hidden but it shows the Power Functions off nicely.
  21. Guayaquil and live in Sao Paulo for several years.
  22. Nope not really. She goes with me and does stuff, but as she says, she’s a fan of Fans of Lego. So is that FOFOL’s!?
  23. First off you have a conflicting title and opening statement. Title: Action Themes Statement: Licensed Themes For Action Themes, I’d love to see Steampunk. Simply for piece selection. If you translated that into Licensed Themes you’d looking are Jules Verne, Sherlock Holmes, and/or Firefly/Serenity etc. Other Action Themes, I think 1492 series would be cool, a little Inca & Spain action. And of course go further back and do a Romans vs. Persians Theme. Licensed Themes though I’d still love to see Lego do X-Men, Star Trek, or Battlestar Galactica, G.I. Joe would be killer, and The Chronicles of Narnia. The Chronicles of Narnia would be a smart move personally because the movies are in production and they’re only on book 3 or 4 out of 7.

Form a LUG of at least 10 AFOLs and then contact the Store Manager. Lego has a whole system of rules you have follow. I’m not sure where to actually find any of the info. It was just emailed to me by our LUG leader. Maybe of the current Ambassadors could direct you/us to the resource.
  25. Ah I was born in South America does that count? I speak some Spanish but mostly Portuguese (can't read or write in either). However I'm Caucasian, but only on the outside. Maybe I can be an honorary member.
