  1. I'm guessing you shot this with a webcam or old camera phone. The image quality is very poor. If you can borrow a camera with at least 4.0 MegaPix and a flash, you'll have a lot better image to look at. And you might get some feedback on your future MOCs.
  2. I wouldn’t call it in “ingenious”, unless you mean the lack of genius. People have been shoplifting in various ways for thousands of years. The only thing interesting about this is that a millionaire stooped to petty theft. He’s a millionaire! He could have been at last a little more James Bond and little less Winona Ryder in his craft. I mean come on! Cut the power lines, cut a hole through the roof, repel in, load the Lego into a net, and hoist it away with a helicopter at least!
  3. Sword winged dragon is a win!
  4. Nice window technique. I wish the background or room would have been lighter so you could see the detail a bit better. The back lit image is ok.
  5. Oh look no reference images. Now we have to spend time looking up to confirm what you’re talking about…
  6. Say yes to the rhythm! Nah just do it!
  7. Most of this MOC is pretty simple but what you’ve done with the arch pieces is awesome!
  8. Ah it’s been a long time since shredding a MOC was painful. After building for roughly 7 months in an 8 months time period. Shred, Sort, & Store Times: Corridor & Support Craft ≈ 3 hours Nose ≈ 2 hours Mmm, Chinese food when shredding is the best! Shuttle ≈ 2 hours Main Hanger ≈ 3.5 hours Winged Section ≈ 3.5 hours Put away sorted piles ≈ 1 hour *Minifigures left intact Total time ≈ 15 hours And you’ll note that at some point in the moving around of this MOC to shoot and display at Ad Astra it sheered a black technics pin in half. Here’s nice look at the belly of the Main Hanger during shredding. Some of might be asking, “WHY!?” Well quite simply my desire to build is greater than my desire to display. It would have been nice to try to take this to Brickfete and Brickworld however I just purchased a new car. So all my travel money for this year is gone! (Except a prepaid family reunion later this year.) You’ll also note that this shows about 99.99% of my white tiles; white 2xX plates; and right angled technics in grey, bley, & black.
  9. Well technically I knew about Lego before I knew about Star Wars. However Star Wars drew me back into Lego.
  10. Worst part about being dyslexic is seeing your posting and thinking what the h*** does this have to do with LGBT? Then realizing the acronym was completely different.
  11. Love the “minifigures” I had to take a second look to figure it out. :)
  12. And if you squint the space port building looks like a mushroom cloud, if humanity got less responsible. ------------------------------------------------------- Images from while on display at Fairview Mall, Toronto, ON.
  13. Embed your images. No one really wants to go off site without a taste of what is there. I only did because I read the 2nd post and was curious.

    Appreciation

When asked, “Why do you do it? I mean you risk your life everyday? Why?” The reply is simple, “For the nod.” Life is all about the nod. If you pour yourself into something everyday all you need is one person once in a while to just give the nod, and say thanks for what you do. To the nod. Cheers.
  15. Nice. The updates to the Droid Factory are perfect! And the Trench is flawless.

    SHIP WIP

Mmm. Rainbow guts. Looking good. Yeah making moveable SHIPS is all about designing in sections.
  19. So jealous! I would have killed to have had the yellow castle growing up!

  21. Clear thread from a fabric store and planter hooks from a hard store. Equals:
  22. How could you have forgotten! You where when I was buying the prizes! Oh yeah that's right you where building 24/7 for Ad Astra and Sick Kids Hospital.
  23. That’s awesome, I’ll leave it to the technics fans to try win.
  24. The importance of building a workable collection over time. Buying brick by brick for a specific build can be costly unless you’re in an active LUG or work for Lego.
  25. Just when I thought I’d seen it all!
