Kingdoms had an advent calendar in its first year Fantasy era castle had it in its second year; I strongly hope that will happen for this new line too.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 11 Rumours & Discussion
The Cobra replied to CM4Sci's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Back in Series 1 days, US had a max.5x order limit. If you check the old topic, someone was sent 5 Crash test dummies. Limit for Italy is now 16 (it used to be 60 back then), I have yet to know if someone dared to buy them. As for me, I was lucky to find S11 near home, and they were very easy to feel so I grabbed the whole series at once. -

I suppose (and strongly hope) you're talking about the same sets Kalus-Dieter already mentioned, but those are the actual names and numbers.

MMV and Kingodm's joust were their respective theme's tombstones. While I hope such another great set will come, I wish it won't be anytime soon. On the civilian side, Kingdoms had 7189: Mill Village Raid, so there's still hope Lego willl come up with something similar.

Lego Italy emailed retailers that Friends sold "way more than expected" and twice as much as they did in 2012; therefore, they can hardly fulfill backorders on some items.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 11 Rumours & Discussion
The Cobra replied to CM4Sci's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Haltiamieli's guesses are similar to mine: Sixes: Barbarian, Evil Mech, Mountain Climber, Bobby Fours: Bavarian Girl, Lady Robot, Yeti, Scientist, Jazz Musician, Waitress Twos: Scarecrow, Tiki Warrior, Holiday Elf, Welder, Grandma, Gingerbread Man -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 11 Rumours & Discussion
The Cobra replied to CM4Sci's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Just like series 8: some good stuff and a lot of recycling / counterparts. Barbarian: Two weapons and no shield? (I'm not into Barbarians, so I don't know how accurate my grump is) Scarecrow: A really nice one Bavarian Girl: kinda nice, kinda boring Blacktron Mech: just bo-ring Tiki Warrior: I like it mostly because Islanders were part of my dark ages. Gingerbread Man: Nice fellow Holiday Elf: Nice, and very easy to spot by feeling Yeti: A funny one, and a welcome accessory (I know they've been out there for years, I just don't own one). Mountain Climber: Not bad; probably one of the six-ers. Welder: Great accessories, good concept. Scientist: "I've seen this before"; and please, stop using that hairpiece! Jazz Musician: Here comes another winner!. Waitress: Odd hair, odd face, but still average. Grandma: The best amongst counterparts. Bobby: I could live without another policeman, but at least they did something original. Lady Robot: see Blacktron mech. A predictable step back compared to series 10, but not totally bad. -
LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 11 Rumours & Discussion

And I quote. Just like series 8 last year, it looks like Lego has run out of ideas and had to remake/repaint some figs. -

My two cents: Fantasy era was great. Kingdoms was OK. Castle 2013 is sub-par. When I saw preliminary images I thought I like the new line, and would have bought every set except the bigger one. Now I'm thinking I will surely buy 70400, maybe the Gold gateaway and that may be it. I'm also regretting not buying a few more kingdoms sets.

LEGO Collectible Minifigures Golden Minifigure Discussion
The Cobra replied to TrumpetKing's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I'd love to find a Golden minifig, but it's gonna be REALLY hard, since there are only going to be 5.000 of them. Source: fbtb. 1 in each box of 60 would have been great, though.- 87 replies

Here in Italy we've been used to 2 catalogs per year since 2007 at least. "Funniest" thing is that 1H catalog usually claims to be January-May/June/July, but 2H only hits the shops in September.

Thanks Grogall! Nice to see Series 2 Friends bags. Didn't the German catalog use to have prices? EDIT: Here is the Italian catalog: http://www.lego.com/it-it/products/brandcatalog.aspx?icmp=COIT12HomeRE1Brandcatalog

Review: 70102 Speedorz Leonidas
The Cobra replied to I Scream Clone's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I rate it average. The waterfall is s nice but very simple, there are too many colors for such a small set (wouldn't the hammer-and-ball look better in different colors?), and Leonidas needs some sleep. If he was one of the baddies I wouldn't mind for his dizzy look, but he's supposed to protect our crystals! -
REVIEW: 70003 Eris' Eagle Interceptor
The Cobra replied to WhiteFang's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Thanks White Fang! Leaving Speedorz aside, this is the only Chima set I am interested in. Whle the legs are a bit too sqaure, the model looks great; it's nice to see how many different poses you can choose from. RRP for Italy is 35 Euros. Sets with the same RRP include Seaside house and Excavator transport. This makes it a must-buy set as soon as it comes with a 20+% off. As for the rating, I'd say 4,5/5.- 34 replies

REVIEW: 70100 Ring of Fire
The Cobra replied to WhiteFang's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
It's interesting to see you reviewed two of the Chima sets I'm interested in. The Italian RRP is... crazy? 15 euros: that's the same RRP for, say, a SW battle pack, Gandalf arrives, 6 collectible minifigures. Ninjago spinners RRP was 10 Euros, so I expected these Chima Speedorz to be even more expensive. But I still think the a regular cardboard box would help buyers saving a few bucks. As for the set itself, I like it, Those minifigs look good without headgear too, and the ring itself is really eye-catching. I would have used a tile instead of plate (6x6), but I agree this set deserves a full 4 out of 5. Now let's just wait for some sales/deals.- 11 replies

I don't know if this is a new or old company: I found this pics on an eastern auctions site: Not to mention... More clones in my recently updated gallery.

This is what I wrote in 2008, and most of it (and what I wrote a few post above) still goes: As for sets availability, to the best of my knowledge of all the 2H2012 we're only missing one set: 4201 Loader and tipper. We have seen much worse before! (my old rant topic).

Thanks for the review; this one looks like the weakest set in the lot. I rate it "below average" but I was tempted to rate it poor. Still, there are some interesting sets in this promotion (last time I checked, Ferrari was an Italian pride. I wonder if we can finally find some Lego polybags in our local shops instead of buying them on the Internet...)

According to this picture, you should everything that was inside the box.
