  1. Ok, I'll be more outspoken So, you missed the dodos. But you saw the submarine, right? And the Corrington spy in the barrel? And the Cookie Monster? ...
  2. My entry to Cat B: Merrynight in Pontelli (The Merrynight Cactus)
  3. The Pontellis are getting ready for the Merrynight celebration. That is Alberto, Natasha and George da Pontelli are exchanging presents, drinking hot spiced wine (one of them is drinking banana juice) and eat the traditional banana cake. And then they will relax by the light of their beautiful Merrynight Cactus: (As you may know, there are no fir trees on Nellisa.) This is an entry to the "Nellisan Merrynight Challenge" - Category B - Celebrations. C&C welcome!
  4. Ok, I'll be going in with 300 db = 2 shares.
  5. [ESL] Proclamation of Pontelli
  6. I was a bit out of touch with the economics here. However, I am still planning to invest my 150 db. To be sent to whom?
  7. This is exceptionally great, filled with excellent details and aesthetically very pleasing. Enough details in there for 10 MOCs... (the fencer, the bench, the pump, the lantern, the door, the window design, ...) Please remind me to ask you one day how you do the backgrounds for your pictures - but that is another story
  8. Fine fine - and good to see that the streets are actually paved with gold!
  9. A monkey? A decent nobleman? Who would think of that? The roof is a strange piece of "lego evolution". In the end it somewhat worked out. (I wanted to use those large slopes, that is how it started.) And it could be Nova Terreli. (I think that the guys just assume that the Marquis is from Oleon. He probably has not said so.) Thanks - yes I am using different colours this time. Are dark tan plates so rare nowadays?
  10. A lot to catch up: October: Proclamation of Pontelli [ESL] The Bath of Pontelli November: We're on the road to Pontelli… December: [ESL FB] Sandcastles [ESL-FB] Poker Game in the Orange Herring
  11. Thanks - so do we No, can't be. We don't know Captain Pugwash... Let me check. That sloop has been presented before: Yepp, was fun
  12. Thanks - I think these are some "world racer" torsos. Sure! Thanks - yepp, that was what I was trying to convey
  13. The "Orange Herring" is a famous tavern... .. and usually quite crowded. Thick smoke from many cigars is blurring the sight - of a poker game. That strange Marquis from Oleon was not much of a talker, but he could play extremely well. The dubloons were soon piling up next to the Marquis. Captain Cookie was watching in amazement... .. while cavern keeper Barry the Bald was eyeing whether a fight was about to break out - or not. Another view without the roof (left top: a lady of the night...) C&C Welcome! (I have not decided yet where the Orange Herring is located. Any suggestions? I might license it right there.) A few more pics and larger versions can be found in the corresponding flickr album.
  14. Possibly. Or vanilla ice with raspberries.
  15. Hey, I have won Err, I mean congratulations to the other winners
  16. Fine creation - is it really "light yellow"? If so, how did you manage to get to many bricks in that colour?
  17. Amazing - very well done. I am studying all the details on flickr.
  18. Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo beautiful!
  19. Welcome - that MOC looks promising! Keep them coming!
  20. Excellent build - great techniques used here too!
  21. Always be prepared! Yepp, I picked the right Kolonialbeamter this time. ... and not even the sea as these guys were building on higher ground Thanks - there were a few things from BoBS on the island (e.g. the girl from Octoberfest, Mr. da Pontelli with his balloon, etc.)
  22. Very fine, very funny. Now, I am hungry...
