Unfortunately Mister Phes the complete fleet is clone bricks, they are not mocs, they are the design of the company's designs *cough* actually lego's design *cough*, sorry, seem to have a cough at the moment... the Meander is the companies design again, however it copies the basic design of Lego and the bsb... I have slightly MODed them by giving white paper sails and in the case of the meander a table, and skelly at the front... Here are the pic's of crew and meander, the entire fleet shots will come later... for more blurry pics here is the BS Gallery (wait for it to be public...) Also GREAT news soon to be added is a MODed CC, YES actual LEGO!!! !!! it is to be the fleets treasure ship! and i need a new camera...

so numerically total how many ships do you have? i am interested in knowing what size force you have in the sea, and how many members it would take to match your fleets

When i was in LDD i used the function in the program to find out how much it would cost to get the bricks... i assume it would actually be cheaper to go to bricklink and order specific pieces... also that way you could order bricks that are a different colour to the design... no more yuk white arches! btw have you seen the great modular houses on lego.com, some would be great in a harbor moc, or a governors house... i will do some downloading, picture taking and batch resizes then upload to brick shelf and post here in an edit for you... very nice mocs! Edit: hmm, appears my LDD does not want to work after getting an update...

There sure is although it is harder to use than LDD in my opinion the piece selection is there is even a way to create mini figs! you can not order the model from Lego though, it is fan created an there is a tutorial on this site on how to use it! It is called MLcad and is down loadable from Ldraw for the following link... Link to Download here is a link to the tutorial... Link to tutorial and another one i found useful... you guys crack me up... so much confusion, im not even playing and lost in the rules of voting... i just thought i would like to one of the first true audience to come along and state something... I am enjoying this greatly, it is like sitting down with a good book, only its not completely written yet, the fact it jumps in and out of story makes it all the more entertaining, please do not stop shadows audience they add humor and variety, as for Hinckleys constant amnesia it confused me, i thought he was actually confused... i eagerly await seeing who is killed first... Dragonator, is it possible to add a 'voice over' character that they may use to help narrate the proceedings and clearly identify their actions (only those they want obviously) eg NAR: Hinckley was still lying on the ground with concussion because the Doctor was to busy chasing the maid and the priest to drunk to notice... just a thought... keep up the great story Murder mystery ON!

Me thinks alot of new members will have not yet seen this! and such a shame... (the link in the index does not link to this discussion...) Maybe Classic-Pirates could do a feature on ZCerberus for its (the forts) one year anniversary... , with his fleet/armada(s) and fort/port/cove castle! they are some of the greatest MOC's i have ever seen, i feel privileged to be able to even know the creator though a forum... The newsletter could do this creation some justice, my mere praising of it, fails in comparison to work and effort that must have gone into this, looking at the other related threads... maybe we could do an interview..? A photo of all his boats in port, would be, well dreams materializing before my eyes! just how many boats do you have Z? EDIT: realized i should specify some thing ;-)

I am currently on the hunt for lego, to build my collection up, so i can better tackle set design and idea building... i have so far aquired a Carrabian Clipper and two old friends Lego collections... however as you said SlyOwl, this will take alot of organisation, and i was giving this thread time to see how many people would be interested... so far its rather promising yet i am reserved about it. perhaps we should just start discussing issues, first to be addressed as suggested by you. FACTIONS what type of mini fig will occupy our new pirate world... NOTE; the purpose is disscussion and not a poll, i am aware of THIS poll.

The over all design, layout on the baseplate, this was destined for greatness. the rock sculpture somehow holds personality and more importantly is different to those we here in the pirate forum are used to. these indy sets seem to have quite a few pieces that might just be handy for pirate mocs... i can see Johny trying to make it back out through the jungle only to be meet by an unruly group of pirates determined to claim the treasure their own... only to be saved by the imperial guards sitting in the bay. great work Batbrick hope to see more of your stuff here more often! regards Cpt. Great work i love the high priests hat :pir-wub: the set has a lot of mini figs! i can see smaller sets having aztec warriors, at least then they may have a chance against the Spanish cannons :pir-skull: Cpt. PB

by far the best take on the ship i have seen so far! all the other MOC's i have seen with the black pearl have not had nearly enough cannons! yours seems to have enough! love the mini figs that go with it, the care taken with windows, great job all-round :pir-wub: welcome to eurobricks, hope to see more from you soon! hmm... i saw this exact photo up on ebay just under a week ago... i wonder why its back up, by memory it sold quite well....

i would have loved to have built something entirely different to what i did. when i started out i was thinking mountains with a complex islander camp with many traps for unsuspecting pirates or pesky colonizing soldiers... my main reason for building it was the fact LDD now had two different shades of green to make a nice island with... cough... i would prefer to pay SlOowl a great amount of money and get something decent, his islander habitats are unrivaled it came out flat, with no traps and all it has is a fire and a very small look out. the only reason i kept it was i assumed this could be a small island just off the main one... something like a honey-moon island, perfect size for two... i like Medib am a bit frustrated with LDD's change of bricks... more space stuff at the cost of large green bases and red roof tiles... hope that answers your question

your skills have dragged me out of the pirate forum. great work as usual slyowl magic once again love the miss-firing gun and the reactions... the arm and sword coming out of the lake... priceless well worth the trip out of the pirate forum... EDIT: seems TheBrickster and i have similar taste only he types faster

Thanks for all the great feedback so far... i totally agree with you medib! i wish so much that they would bring out the brick range of Mclad... Mr Tiber, if there where those colours i would gladly follow your suggestions, unfortunately the arches used are only available in white... thank-you far all those great comments, i may need to go get a pin for my big head... Very simply i chose to call this a remix as it mas my major inspiration for doing it... there are elements of the ITP, i.e. a port, boat, garrison, ramp etc...
