NEW Official Pirate Minifigure Pictures?
Admiral Blockbeard replied to SirNadroj's topic in LEGO Pirates
why on earth would some random Lego store in America have the right to DISPLAY the new models, i am confident this is just a store looking for attention... Legomilk saying/ questioning 2009 is more evidence than this in my opinion... that said i am hopeful... regards Cpt. PB -
we tend to give people the benefit of the doubt, and we know this product rather well... my first reaction was to give this message the same response as you, however we have had other comments like this from people that chance to come across the forum, however they hardly have such great product placement skills. as Phes has said, we do often like to hear about the competition, no better source to hear about it than the competition itself, who knows they may even be able to help us in our time of shako shortage!, given they will not be as edible as the Lego version... if it truly is just spam however, i am sure members here are not likely to fall for its cheap attempt, and those that do not frequent the sight like parents whom come across it buy chance should be deterred enough by my health warning , if they try numerous spams they will find the chamber quicker than a speeding bullet and that by admins miraculous doings their posts changed into an ad against what they want promoted on our humble site... justice will be done where required, be assured of that, we be pirates! :pir-skull: , do not be thinking we give much away for free!!! regards Cpt PB

some users use the forum in this function, then when you conduct a search on a search engine and it comes up with that posters post, it will go to that setting, then when you leave that, your stuck with that old setting, it happened to me too! and this was the best explanation i could come up with, i could be wrong but i think i am in the ball park! i found my answer/solution after looking at the options tab so i was fine in a short while but for that split second i thought OHH NO, i realy hope this forum never makes it the standard setting, it confuses me too much... We have indeed seen these boats before, i myself own eight of them, different variations... here is the topic i posted some time ago on the boats, the black pearl is the one with red sails, it has nothing to do with the movie unfortunately, and as for the difference between products follow the link and read all about it, BTW, as its from china and they have loose standards on lead in paint, to be on the safe side DO NOT LET HIM PUT IT IN HIS MOUTH AND EAT IT! i don't know how to get it checked for its contents, but i have not had a problem as of yet... btw i am hoping your not from thier company trying to get us to convert... you would be having a very hard time doing so! regards Cpt. Mystery Castle - Game and Index
Admiral Blockbeard replied to Dragonator's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I stand behind Dragonator 100%, And no im not sucking up, and no its not because it his Birthday, and no its not because he is from NZ and practically a fellow Auzzi... Its because i find his settings one of the greatest parts to the game, the photograph is clear and obviously well thought out, if it was just thrown together we would be complaining the game does not feel complete... this build challenge is good enough to keep even the best of builders entertained for four days, and if its not make it bigger and better!!! so, all those who want to point fingers at our future king must come through me! Bryron the protector of the protector of dragons! ((dont take too much of this too seriously)) regards Cpt. PB -

Help me create a new comic! Part 3
Admiral Blockbeard replied to Hinckley's topic in Special LEGO Themes
are we to vote on likes or shelter, for example the build and usefullness for the mini figs to be sheltered, or just an over all judgement on appearence and creativity? i think i can see what was required by you! like a cooking area and that they use BURP's and ship hulls and s masts that toliet is humerous! -

Nice work! loud weapons for a sneak attack specialist! Knifes the fist two guys but makes the last one eat a grenade. I like the scenery around the fig barbed wire is a good touch. The last pic in the shadows is quite effective. am i to think she is still in this slave camp, but so well armed, wow, she is sneeky best of luck in the competition! regards Cpt. PB

Mystery Castle - Building Challenge Discussion

i cant see any objections coming from Dragonator, he would prefer a digital entry as to a no entry... *comes closer to whisper* Ragnir, however has trouble with all this new age tec, so he might judge harder on the digital entries, i think he is computer challenged... *draws back to normal voice* so i cant see any foreseeable problems with digital entries *turns to see Ragnir standing behind him* i ah dont spose you just landed *FLAME* i see... *Byron falls to the floor with a THUD* -
i taught myself how to make them at first then got guidence from IS, my guru... you shouldn't have really opened another thread, but i understand your desparate for help, maybe an admin will come along to merge your topics, maybe not... i used paint, its rather simple. find a custom on one of these pages, copy it paste it into paint. now all you really want from it is it template (the outer edge) so when you go to print it is the right size and shape. seeing as you have taken someone elses work make sure you credit them in your creations after. once you have your blank template go to work on the major out lines aka a jacket or what ever, try zooming in to get presise placement on a dot by dot level also try for at least two dots for black lines, normally three works best. btw cut tool is yoiu new best friend as you can select areas and copy paste them, or even flip and rotate them, this saves a lot of time, A LOT! for starters however, go back to your other topic and copy one of IShadows pics in his Signiture (the bottom of his post) look at some of the techniques used and note how he does certain things, after that look up a design by Luxor V, and do the same. think about what type you like more for your design. now you have a little more of an idea of how to draw your own design. have a go, the fastest way to learn is trial and error, but when you save your work save it as a PNG file, this way the colours will not get mucked up. now if you need more help please post your questions in this thread or pm me i will be happy to help! p.s. sorry if i explained things too simple but i have no idea of your knowledge level, age etc so i played it safe! look forward to your creation, post it here when your done, im sure we'll all love to see it regards Cpt. Great work, i would have never known about this, except for your post here! i love the burning bush one, i showed my girlfrind and she laughed saying it was cute, my response was "Cute! Cute!, do you know how much hard work must have gone into this", she said "yep, and its cute!" so congrats on your "cute" creations i will be sure to look further into your work! Regards Cpt. PB -
I have had a closer look at the ultimate chess set, did you use Legos design for the bases or did you actually mod them a little because they look similar but curiously different? Regards Cpt. PB

Im not sure this is 100% on topic but it is at least a start back onto the right road In peoples area are some special tags, like a country flag or a customizer logo, is there a place i can go to find out what all of them mean. For example i cant work out the country flag one... the best guess i can hazard is you get one when awarded the group of fellow. Regards, Cpt. PB -

*Byron, gets up from the corner and heroically slides accross the floor grabing Majiko* Unhand me you smelly poo... Out of this kitchen, your coming with me... you Lt stuffing wizard! *Byron strides out of the kitchen with Majiko slung over his shoulder, the wand sits in the kitchen, Grim grabs the wand so he can return it to Dragonator for safe keeping.* With you locked out of the kitchen the rest of us can eat safe You all ate safe! what wrongs with my cooking!! *the door to the kitchen is clicked shut and locked as Byron exits with the wizard, Byron puts the wizard down only to get a beating from the wizard screaming random insults at Byron* The kitchen has been reclaimed, let our stomachs rejoice! Now to the bath Guard, we can share tales of our victory! Ouch... hey stop that... oww, hey.... you.... Maj.... Ouch, Retreat!!!... *Majiko jumps on Byrons back as he is running away* Strong for an old man, heavy too... ((OCC voting has gone easily so far today, hence the extra plot)) *Michael and Fred chase after Byron also still mad hurling stones and insults as he is bashed on the head by Majiko* -
Mystery Castle - Day 4
Admiral Blockbeard replied to Dragonator's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
*Byron, enters limping, and with "wide" steps, with a very pained look on his face* I'll get that Wizar... Stuffing me... Stuff HIM, he'll get whats com... Crazy old Ma... he just had to push it further in with his wand, thank the holy spirits Mary came when she did. *Byron looks at everyone staring at him* NO, im not going to kill the dang Wizard of ...of... Megablocks! Ragnir! RAGNIR, where are you? Boo Its not nice to sneak up on people! Landing next to someone is hardly sneaking, what do you want i was winning a game of stones Oh so thats where Dragonator is... I have a plan against this wizard, follow me... *Byron and Ragnir, walk of into a shady part of the court yard to sit and discuss tactics, sprinkles jumps down from a high castle wall to join in.* Sprinkles where were you, i thought i had lost you! Now about this wizard, whats in it for me..? I am sure the extra quite of not having him around is enough... And all i have to do is drag him down to the dungeon and take away his staff? Thats right! Your catching on now! It wont work, i am more intelligent than you and i say it wont work. What megablocks! fine i am off to find Grim, maybe this is a matter for the brave royal guard and not some sissy dragon! *FLAME* *a blackened Byron stands with his cape half burnt and finger still pointing at the dragon, turning on his heal goes to walk off only to find himself falling to the ground, his helmet falling off, showing the black line off soot where the face had not been covered* I hate Mondays *Ragnir flys off, Dragonator's laughing can be faintly heard off in the not too far distance... Byron peals himself from the floor to go find Grim, Sprinkles a now naked cat runs after him* Grim.......... Ahh no Sir not here to repor.... but the wizar....... oh fine, here Votes so far is Calvin / Atoll Dweller 7 bad guy eye brows 1 Majiko the wizard 156 the purple monkey 2 by recent events, aka two deaths the required vote was 9... now its 8... one more for Calvin and he is dead... Now about this wizard, all we need is the entire guard and either, cover our selves in dragon poo(resist magic) , or carry mirrors (reflect magic)... Michael! Fred! come hither, a bold and beautiful day is today, we march upon the wizard! Let me help... *the group look up to see the dragon flying above and a small black thing slowly be coming larger, Grim and sprinkles being the wisest present jump out of the way, the black now brown, thing now known poo, lands with a squish upon the three remaining guards* RAGNIR!!! Grim here is my mirror... *Byron hands Grim a smelly mirror, then the troop disappear into the kitchen, mean while Mary who had witness the entire event simply rolled her eyes and screamed something about not cleaning this one up, once again Dragonator laugh is heard*
