The only reason I claimed is because I thought I had our first scum and I had to share this, and the only way to share this was to reveal my role. There was a reason for killing Patricia. She noted that Jamie, she and I were pretty much saying all the same things around the time that Jamie was killed. Patricia thought that the scum must have targeted Jamie because they probably thought she might be my "Person A". I pointed out to Patricia that, by that logic, they would probably also think that Patricia might be my "Person A" and that she would then be the next scum kill. However, she thought that being so vocal in the thread would be her protection. I don't know whether Bernard is Malone or scum. That's the problem - I don't know who to target and I can't ask that in thread. The people I have talked to also haven't been able to help me identify the PRs. Given they are dead vanilla Malones, my guess is they didn't know either. That's why I asked if you want me to stop by your house. I haven't exactly done a stellar job so far and could use some help. Unfortunately, I've got lectures to go to, so this will need to be quick. A couple of things that need to be pointed out: I had found Dogukan suspicious prior to all this and had voted for him on Night 2. This vote was switched to Byron in the interest of getting a result for the night. This happened before the Dog's post about me having a bone to pick with Shane. I thought Shane was scum. The logical conclusion for me at that time was that Shane and the Dog were scum buddies and that is how he knew. The other option was that Person A had mentioned this to the Dog. Shane was killed by the vig (most likely), not scum. I don't know if I am the only one with the ability to start conversations.

I told Shane and Person A that I thought he (Shane) was scum. Dogukan's accusation of me made it seem like he knew more than what had been discussed in the thread. If he did know more, it would have come from Shane or Person A.

It was before "midday" on Day 3 when I said we needed to lynch Dogukan. I don't know when the vig or SK (whichever this is) decides who to target, but that statement was made a while ago now. I don't think it would have made sense to target the Dog after he was identified as the main lynch candidate. Adelaide was on my list of suspects, so a vig kill makes sense to me. See above That's one of the scenarios and the most logical conclusion, but I also have reasons to believe Person A is not scum. I am not ready to share what those reasons are.

I'm starting to sound like a broken record, but I'm happy to give it one more try. Your words above suggest that Shane's death was somehow linked to something that I said to Person A about Shane. All person Person A knew was that I was in contact with Shane and that I thought he was scum. I would like to know why you feel a need to suggest that I shared any other information about Shane. I would also like to know under what circumstances you think those two bits of information (i.e. that I was in contact with Shane and that I thought he was scum) would lead Person A to want Shane dead.

See here. I was ok with his response at that time. I had assumed it obvious, but maybe I'll point it out anyway - the reason I contacted Shane in the first place is because I thought he was town. It was one of Shane's early responses in the PM that made me think he might be scum. I would not have contacted him if I thought he was scum. There are others, including myself, who question whether Dogukan was really blocked or gagged. What strikes me here though is how confidently and matter-of-factly you state he was lying, like you know that this is exactly what he was doing. Would love to know what slip up you are referring to here and how that led to Shane's death. Both you and the Dog have been hinting that Shane's death is somehow linked to me telling Person A something about Shane. At the time that Shane was killed, Person A knew I was talking to Shane and that I thought he was scum. Under what circumstances do you think that would lead to Shane's death? I think it was answered already but just to clarify, Person A claimed protector to me. You know that is a stupid idea, so I'm going to assume you propose that just to see people's reactions. Our protector, whether this is Person A or someone else, can presumably only protect one person at a time.

How do you propose that knowing Person A's identity will help at this point? I know I misread Shadows, but I do believe this Person A is town. I appreciate that, if Person A is town and didn't talk to Dogukan (as Person A claimed), this implies that Dogukan did base his accusation on just that one minor post or he had some other way of knowing the nature of the discussions between Shane and I. I know that, I was just having a go at myself. More nonsense from Terrence. I'm happy to play along: 1. Dogukan - for the obvious reasons 2. Terrence - for not being helpful with his fluffy posts and the fact he's not his usual talkative self. 3. Adelaide - not the biggest lurker, but what she has said hasn't been helpful I assumed in my case it was the effect of a block, but the note from Tam didn't mention that. It just said that I was tired and thought it best to sleep during the day. A block action is what made sense to me since my action is effectively the ability to talk, and I was stopped from talking for 48 hours - both through PM and in the thread.

What brains trust would this be? I'm not putting a lot of faith in my own judgement at the moment. Why was it so important that this post be made in Day 3? Why couldn't it wait? To look more townie? If he really was blocked or gagged, why couldn't he have waited until the start of night to make that post. I don't think it let's him off the hook. That also reminds me, Adelaide didn't say anything during the day even though I did she was hanging around for part of the day. How would Dogukan flipping town clear Person A? Also, if he was town, how would Dogukan know that I "had a such bone to pick" with Shane? I know Dogukan has claimed that his assessment was based purely on that one statement I made, but that was so minor that it really didn't warrant any further attention. Your gag order (if it's even true) was just coincidence. If you check the timing of my posts, my first post of Day 3 didn't even mention you. I hate to admit that I wasn't paying attention, but it wasn't until later on Day 3 when I went back to do up my notes that I realised there were two posts late on Night 2 that I had missed, including yours. This was well after your gag order would have been issued. It may be that it's night and I'm more of a morning person, but am I missing some of the logic here? You're linking Shane's death to Person A knowing about me talking to him and believing him to be scum. Shane was not a scum kill (based on what we've seen so far). What do you think Person A is? Also, knew what about Shane? That he was in contact with me? I agree, but I think this hits the mark even more: I was a little concerned with this alien that has taken over my Daddy's body, but he's starting to grow on me.

I'm not surprised about Byron or Jamie, but I am about Shane. I read him really badly. It doesn't change anything in terms of Dogukan knowing about me having a bone to pick with Shane. Will need to think through what this new information means. First a couple of early evening lectures to attend.

No. If Shane flips town, then Person A is the one talking to Dogukan and most likely also scum. If Shane flips scum, then Person A's allegiance is still not confirmed. As I said before, I think person A is town. I don't actually know whether I'm right or not. I find it hard to believe that I would be so lucky as well. Dogukan isn't going to come back and explain himself because he knows that the only way he can explain that I had a bone to pick with Shane is by revealing that he is scum. Here it goes. I'm the Malone's Communications Expert, which means that I can choose people to open PM communications with. I've been talking to two people: Shane and Person A. Person A knew I was talking to Shane, but I never mentioned Person A to Shane. I did have quite a bone to pick with Shane because I was pretty sure he was scum once I had started communicating with him. But all of this happened in PMs between myself and Shane. Other than that minor poke quoted above, I never mentioned Shane or my suspicions about him here. It was mentioned to Person A via PM, so they also knew. The only way that Dogukan would know that I had a bone to pick with Shane is if either Shane or Person A told him. Since this didn't happen in-thread, it must have been via PM. Unless we have two Comms Experts (unlikely?), the only other behind the scenes communications that would be happening right now are those between the scum. Person A shall remain anonymous because I'd like to believe they are town. They have also indicated they are the protector and that they would protect me. Forgive my cynicism, Person A, but we'll see if I am still around for the start of Night 3.

I was doing my notes for the previous night, when Post 99 caught my attention, particularly this bit: This is the only time I've mentioned Shane (post 21) over the last couple of days and nights: Care to explain how this translates into "had such a bone to pick"?
