Throlar and Violet both repeat. K-Nut stated so : "Althior wipes the blood from his mouth and grins as the three of them repeat once more in the same order." EDIT: Yes, I would like a replacement for Lord Duvors, we can use the manpower
-
D'oh, forgot to post yesterday! Anyway: Eric crushed Guard A's skull under his heavy leather boot. He leered at his next target. Raising his sword in the air, he charged Guard B, coming to Violette's aid. Eric attacks Guard B from the front row, twice.
-
Eric was still uneasy fighting the minions of the Vampire. He was confident in his strength though and repeats his previous actions.
-
Me and Dragonfire may attack twice since we're both Hastened. Also, don't you need to include your Undead Minions too?

Uncertain, Eric attacks Guard A from the front row, twice.

Soon, nobody will want to quest with Eric anymore. I don't really interact with other characters that often, because Eric just kind of looks down upon most of them. So most of the time, when Eric does say something, it's probably something arrogant or derogatory. Also, this'll be (I think) the second time I'm going to act against party interest .

Eric gritted his teeth as he saw the rest of the party getting ready for battle. He was torn inside. Would he stand with his fellow Heroicans or stay true to Norse culture. To lay a hand upon a Vampire is abominable. Eric stared at the ground for a while and reminisced. He had fought with a Vampire before and it had cost him everything. His home, his people, his family and his inheritance. He was marked an outcast and forbidden to ever return to Vártland again until he had found death or redemption. The Nord saw a faint image of the lawman who had spoken the sentence flash before him and remembered his snarl. "For you death is the redemption". Eric heard the sentence echo in his mind. No. Not again. Eric would not lose it all once more. Not now when his life was just starting to get back on track. He looked at the party. Loyalty was held in high regard in Norse culture, perhaps it was one of the most highly regarded traits of all. To betray one's raiding party and brethren would bring severe shame upon a man. Perhaps even death. But then again, these men were hardly Eric's brethren. They were not his kin or people. These Southerners... How they look down upon the men of the North. Why should Eric stand with them? Loyalty to the gods, is the highest loyalty of all. "Let them be the judge of my actions," Eric thought to himself. The Nord stepped back, if there was going to be at fight, he'd try to stay out and if he somehow did manage to get entangled, he'd refuse to attack the Vampire. The creature would not fall by his blade. The skeletons however, he held no allegiance to them nor did they inspire any respect. Walking bones with no free will, so different from the Vampire: an eternal warrior.

Would you like the Vikings theme to return?
Khorne replied to Alfadas's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I really liked the Viking theme. It was the first theme that got me to buy sets again as an adolescent. I think it's too bad the Vikings only had 7 sets and didn't last that long. If they would return, I'd have no issue with them being as they were. Sure, they weren't historically correct, but the stereotypicalness of them is what made them so much fun. Perhaps they could try to put some more variation in the headgear. Helmets with horns, coupled with somewhat more realistic helmets without horns. Having them fighting mythological creatures was also very neat. If they relaunch Vikings again, maybe LEGO could add in some giants, too? -
"So how do your employers intent on casting it all aside? What is their purpose here?" Eric asked, intrigued.

Oh god, it's like #58 Brother's in arms once more. Then it was Reno I didn't want to fight for RP reasons and now this. Damn you dilemmas!

Eric kept his silence as the Vampire talked. The appearance of these dark figures posed a significant conundrum for the Nord. Torn inside, Eric could not make up his mind. He had no qualms with the Vampire, in fact he was in awe of the creature. A child of Helvetia, blessed with immortality and fighting prowess above any skill of a common Human. An unending life in which the creature could hone its skills and feast in the night when not fighting. The master hunter, stalking its prey and killing without remorse. The ultimate warrior, a child of night and cold. It had been a while since the Nord last crossed paths with a Vampire. Still, these dark mystical creatures managed to awe him. Eric's last encounter with a Vampire left dire consequences, though, and the Nord would be careful to tread lightly in this situation. He was no longer in the North, but the gods are omniscient and even here the murder of one of their warriors and guardians would undoubtedly invoke their wrath.
-
Eric looked around when Violet mentioned Throlar had gone missing. "Coward...", he angrily muttered under his breath and didn't waste any further thought on the matter. When the three figures emerged from the shadows, Eric's eyes subtlely widened. A Vampire in Eubric. He was now more certain than ever that this endeavour was a test by Helvetia, the Ice Queen. Surely the gods wanted to see wether Eric's allegiance still lay with his home and his people or if he had entirely renounced his past life. "What brings you to this crypt, master Vampire?" Eric inquired in the most diplomative way he could muster.
-
Eric walked towards the grave and leafed through the book. Perhaps there'd be clues in there to aid the party in understanding what they're dealing with. While he was doing that, the raider casually adressed Althior: "Could you let one of your undead light a torch and carry it? Saves us the trouble of having to deal with that."
-
Eric uses a Grand Potion on Violet. "Let's move on." I took a Mead and Smelling Salts after the battle, so I should be Encouraged and Hastened
-
Eric chuckled. "That question is not even worth posing. Of course it is bravery to stand in a fight, especially when you know you might perish. Songs would be sung in my name. This life is not the end, priest. I do not fear death. When I fall in battle, I know I will be taken in the warm caress of our Ice Mother. I shall feast and fight for eternity in the Halls of the gods. I know they are watching over me way or another. Can you say the same of your god?" The Nord didn't even care to hear father McReary's response to his question, nor did he cared for any input his party members would give on the subject. His gaze was already focused on the entrance of the crypt. His icy eyes burned with a passionate fire. He was glad to be back in action.
-
Eric grinned as his blood slowly absorbed the blood that stuck to it. The Nord was pleased with the fight. It seemed he had might the right call to include Violet in the party. The gods were satisfied and blessed him in combat. He sheathed Godricsleif and took out a mead. This called for a small celebration. Next to the mead, he also took some Smelling Salts. He wouldn't step as unprepared into a fight again this time. "There is shame in being afraid, priest, but that shame won't be one I bear. I have no questions, I say we go in and see what this is al about"
-
Eric grinned and swung his sword high up in the air. Forcefully he let it come down and tried to land a massive hit on the Zombie Paladin Commander. Eric attacks Zombie Paladin Commander B Knight A from the front row. Let's hope my luck lasts! Edit: Thanks for the heads up
-
It's quite ironic how I got KO'd almost instantly when I first took a nostrum and now without a nostrum, the enemy hasn't even landed a scratch on me .
-
Eric attacks the Zombie Paladin Commander B from the front row.
-
Pleased with the result of his attacks, Eric continued to swing his blade at the enemy in rage. Eric repeats.
-
OoC: I think it's okay for you to repeat his actions and battle order. I don't believe a lot would change in the order anyway, since there won't be any Free Hits to be soaked up and stuff.
-
Feeling reinvigorated, Eric continued his fight with the zombies. Eric attacks Zombie Paladin Skirmisher B from the front row.
-
If he does get revived, Eric will attack Zombie Paladin Spearman B from the front row.
-
Eric coughed up some blood as the zombies overwhelmed him. His one free hand reached for a large cut across his chest. The Nord fell to the ground bleeding profoundly. "Crap..." Eric does nothing. (except if Althior revives me )

I'd like to get into building again some more, but I don't really have much inspiration at the moment. I took a look at the Age of Mitgardia topic and tried to MOC something for the competition, but I wasn't able to build something that pleased me enough .
