Erc subtly raised an eyebrow when Violet put her heart back in. The Nord still didn't quite get why she needed it in the first place. The woman seemed fine without one. A slight smirk crept across Eric's lips. He was gad his decision to bring the undead woman along turned out to be a good one. Inside he knew it would, but now the party had witnessed that too. Violet had let Eric to a necromancer which the party defeated. It could be interpreted no way other than this being a sign of Helvetia. The Ice Mother apparently still believes in her lost "son of the north". If she had not given up on him, perhaps the other would follow suit and grant him their strength once more. He gave no sign of appreciation or gratitude. The Nord remained stoic and simply turned around, returning to the Church.
-
Eric pocketed his loot in silence. There was little to say. He could only acknowledge that the opponents had not been a match for him. When he heard Violet speak, the Nord contemplated as to where the necromancer would've run off to. And how she managed to vanish.
-
Eric grasped his wound, putting some pressure on to momentarily stop the profound bleeding. With great difficulty, he takes out one his great potions and downs it immediately. Having stopped the bleeding and feeling reinvigorated, he renews his attacks and hacks at the Dastanese Comet Killer. Eric takes a Grand Potion and then attacks the Dastanese Comet Killer from the front row.
-
Eric nodded in agreement with the yeti's statement. Seeing as he's the only lucky person in the party who still has the ability left to attack, the Nord repeated both his attacks versus the Comet Killer.
-
I don't have any Phoenix Essence, so I simply can't revive you. That's my reason. Eric repeats both his attacks against the Dastan Comet Killer, hoping to deal some more damage this time.
-
Surprised by the massacre at the hands of Violet, Eric seeks to outdo her and take down the dragon. Eric attacks Dastan Comet Killer, twice.
-
Eric smirked at the undead acolyte's comment. "No," he replied, "Helvetia empowers me!" Eric repeats both attacks.
-
I re-read the battle and you're right. Throlar should be listed in the regular battle order. Damn it, there goes the use of my Counterstrike Gloves!
-
OOC: Throlar will most likely not fall at the hands of Eric, so I'll just strike through this piece of text. Under the spell of the malignant female necromancer, Throlar the Dwarf struck at Eric. Not wanting to bow his head to anyone, especially a party member and concurrent "hero", Eric struck back twice as hard, downing the Dwarf. The little man fell down at the towering Nord's feet. Nobody messed with Eric. Might makes right in his mind and the Nord was sure to roll his muscles when needed to assert his position. However, the Nord surprisingly did not feel any joy from taking out the Dwarf. It felt odd to Eric, especially given the dislike for the knight Eric has had since the moment he laid eyes upon him. There came no grin and no chuckle, no insults in a mocking tone and no arrogant boasting. The Raider gave it no further thought and turned his attention back to the fight at hand. Eric repeats both attacks.
-
I also think that's how they work. The description can't really be misread. A foe is a foe, even if it is a turned party member, IMO . BUT, if you're going to down Throlar because of my Counterstrike, you also need to deduct some health from the Left Claw in the first round, because of my Counterstriking ability! Or am I wrong there?
-
Did you take into account my Counterstrike for the free hits, 'cause I don't see a damaged Claw? Eric attacks Kydell in his first turn, then uses his second turn to strike at the Left Claw.
-
Eric rolled his eyes at the remarks of the dwarf. In general, he had grown quite annoyed by the apparant display of ignorance shown by both his party and his enemies. THey simply don't seem to understand the Norse view of life and death. How could he expect them to? The environment Eric had grown up in, was way different than anything he had encountered during his time in Eubric already. Deciding to up the odds in his favor, Eric used his first turn to take a Nostrum. Most of the party went after Amber, while Avalanche dealt with the skeletal dragon, so Eric charged at one of the Undead Cultists. Eric attacks Kydell from the front row in his second turn.
-
Eric's grin turned wider, revealing his teeth. "So your plan is to unite all, simply because they'll have a comon trait, namely being dead." He shook his head and rolled his eyes. "How would that make any difference from how everything is now? A dead greenskin will still be hated as much by a dead human like its living counterpart right now. A greenskin remains a greenskin, even in death. Some goes for humans. Silly necromancer, what a sad little plan." His cold eyes searched for hers and he stared blankly at the woman. "Undeath is a gift given by Helvetia to those who have earned it in life. Thinking She'd allow just anyone to join those ranks shows your ignorance."
-
Eric threw a glare in Throlar's direction. "She doesn't look like a wraith to me, dwarf." The Nord then redirected his attention to the woman. He chuckled softly and grinned. "We take you back, do we? Glad to be of service". He continued in an ever increasingly mocking and sarcastic tone, "Please do fill us in. Some of us are just dying to know what is going on." His eyes flickered with mischievous joy. The Raider's demeanour didn't show it, but he certainly was interested to hear what the womand had to say.
-
Eric cracked his knuckles. He felt the Mead coursing through his veins, giving him strength. He was curious to find out what was behind the door. He was eager for a battle, but he did not know what to expect or if he would be able to give his fullest for the party and the quest.
-
Eric looked at the actions of the party from a short distance. He slightly nodded as the necromancer put the tokens in their place again. It seemed he had found the right solution. In preparation of what was to come, the Norse Raider uncorked one of his Meads and took some Smelling Salts.
-
Eric sat down on the ground. With the tip of Godricsleif, the Nord replicated the lock in the dirt on the floor. Several times over he tried to complete the puzzle, fill in the numbers, but he couldn't find it. Was each row supposed to be the sum of numbers, what was the link between the numbers? He couldn't wrap his head around it. "Anyone has got an idea? If not, perhaps now's the time to put one of those hint coins to use."
-
"How many of those tokens do we have anyway? Enough to fill each slot?" Kintobor, you still need to give me and Avalanche full health. And we should also have lost negative effects and consumable-induced buffers .

Would you like the Vikings theme to return?
Khorne replied to Alfadas's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Those minifigure design you drew up, look great, Ed. However, there are certain things I would change. I know you're striving to achieve a realistic look, but still, this being LEGO and LEGO essentially being a toy for kids, I'd try to "cartoonize" your designs somewhat more. For example, the drinking seems really small right now. I'd make it so that it look larger, perhaps even adding some redundant gold trim to it, just to give it that slight "cartoonish/fantasy" look. Same goes for the pendants, make them oversized. You still get to retain that historical flavour, but topped off with some cartoonish features. I'll try my hand at making in Illustrator what I have in my head, if you don't mind . Like I said, though, I do love the designs you've made so far . -
Eric raised an eyebrow. "You saw in her mouth?" He shook his head. "You say there was nothing there, so no tongue or anything. Yet, you mention she talked. Color me puzzled, but how does one talk without a tongue. Enlighten us, please, master Dwarf." The Nord spoke the last sentence in a mockingly tone, accompanied with an equally mockingly and defying fake bow. He grinned as he continued, "You doubt if you can trust me, but I just know I can't trust you." Eric put on a charade of arrogance and haughtiness, but in truth his interest in the mystery piqued and was itching to found out what this was all about.
-
"What is it you know, dwarf? Where have you been? Spit it!" Eric said, glaring at the dwarven member of the party. Before receiving any response, the Raider already turned to the Vampire who was addressing him. "I get paid to do so." he dryly replied to the Vampire's inquiry. "We let him go."
-
Both Eric and Avalanche should be back at full health, because of Natural Respite. Eric stared at the scene. Violet was hitting the Vampire with her shovel, but the Vampire only chuckled defiantly. The Nord smirked. Even in defeat, the creature still knows arrogance. These truly are the blessed warriors of the night. Inside, Eric wondered what battlefield Helvetia had chosen this specimen from to join the eternal legions. His mind did not wander long and snapped back to reality. "Don't kill the Vampire, necromancer. It would bring severe bad luck to us."
-
Eric gritted his teeth, but gave Althior one of his Grand Potions, albeit with great doubt and uncertainty.
-
"Afraid?" Eric bellowed. He grinned as he spread his arms and crunched some of the remains of his victims under his boots. "I have already done more than you have, Dwarf! I have no need of your sympathy or pity. Keep that remedy to yourself!" The Nord's face then turned more stern as he sheathed his blade. He eyed the Vampire but remained silent. Eric would not attack him and so, he does nothing this round. OOC: Because I don't want to attack the Vamp for RP reasons, it's would be a waste to give that remedy to me, Duvors

Eric repeats his actions on Guard B, hoping that he'd somehow be able to take him down. Althior uses a Light Spell on Guard B from the back row. Violet and Throlar repeat. Battle Order Eric Eric Althior Avalanche Avalanche Throlar Violet
