  1. I share your feelings. I know maybe a lot of people might not know the non-military and child-friendly rules, but it does make sense that they do. I think a good thing about Lego which sets it apart from other toy companies is that it doesn't produce real life based military sets, or promote that kind of thing. If you want military sets, you will not get them, but there are enough of the right pieces for you to be able to make your own military MOC's, unlike some other themes that just can't be easily made because of not enough of the right parts. Also we have enough types of Lego guns, Lego is hardly realistic so why have realistic guns? :skull:
  2. Nope. Well, I knew about the motor and LED but couldn't remember from long ago Science lessons about the pole reverser, thanks for telling me. Umm, I know they're not exactly electrical, but what are the hinges like, and why are they in this set? Just floppy things that will allow bits to move when the motor moves them? They look it. :skull:
  3. Ahhh, I love atomic smurfs. I don't recall it saying the certification on the trailer... I wonder if it would be a 15 or an 18 (English ratings, but obvious what they mean). The novel has swearing and some atomic smurf nudity, so I'm not sure... Atomic Smurf On! (again) :skull:
  4. Ooh, nice informative interview. Thanks for this. Hehe. I like your voice, it is fun to listen to (random comment I know). :skull:
  5. Cool, but what do these things actually do, and how good are they at doing that? I don't know much about electric Lego elements. :skull:
  6. And maybe some screenshots too? Nah, you'll probably be too busy having fun. :skull:
  7. Where? :skull:
  8. Oh, it is, it is. The movie actually looks to be a faithful adaptation too, unlike something like Harry Potter. Of course I would prefer it if Nite Owl looked the same as in the novel, but his new suit is kinda cool anyway. Dr Manhattan looks atomically smurfilly brilliant in the trailer too. :skull:
  9. I never thought of Napoleon Dynamite as that scary really. :skull:
  10. This is pretty great although they don't seem to be available in LDD, but I might order some pieces from Pick a Brick anyway. Do you have a screenshot? I'd like to see it. :skull:
  11. All of those pieces are great, and most are kind of rare nowadays. A bit random getting free Lego packages through your door though? Saying that, I wouldn't complain if I did. :skull:
  12. Yay, me too. That's all regarding the article is accurate, but I think Ra's would have to be in the game anyway. Hehe. Not necessarily, maybe with a player actually controlling him in the game he won't fail as he usually does. I'm looking forward to playing as Killer Moth. I agree. She definitely will not be in the game though, she's only been around a few months. I'm hoping Wesker will be. :skull:
  13. This is almost getting like "What was the last James Bond movie you watched?" Well, I could say the last movie I watched was the amazing Forrest Gump, but I haven't actually finished watching it because I've been watching it in bits, I recorded it from the other night. When I've finished watching it I'll talk about it. The film I actually last watched was Napoleon Dynamite, even though I missed the first half hour. Most of it's very slooow going, then the ending is too quick. Still quite funny, despite its pointlessness, and Napoleon is an amusing character, especially in the way he talks. "Maybe I will, GOSH!" :skull:
  14. Align? You mean if you put them side by side? Umm... I'm not too sure, but studs and pins go in the Znap holes like they do with Technic. Anyway, good that hollisbrick is starting to see sense. :skull:
  15. I just thought... Can we have Islanders attacking Pirates? I'm sure it's OK, but I was just wondering. Also, my other question that I asked before but nobody answered; :skull:
  16. I have some (probably because the set was purple), it is only just compatible with System, but more solid than Technic. I do think it is one of the weaker themes, along with Galidor (which I also posses, for experimental purposes). Fabuland is not at that level, definitely not. It's my favourite theme of the ones I don't have any of, I'd say. :skull:
  17. Wow, that is seriously great stuff, worthy of your "OMG"s! The movie bits are really cool, as is the gameplay, I like the Batcave very much. Anyone else think Clayface is a little too hyperactive? :skull:
  18. Whoah. Not quite romance, but funny anyway. Good building skills, even if it is a bit scary. :skull:
  19. This sounds great, more freedom than I expected too - not just pillaging a village but really doing anything unpleasant. I already have some interesting pirates I made (mostly other theme parts as I only have 2 Pirate sets) so I could use them, and definitely some Islanders... Hmm, I already have an idea. Well, 10 weeks is enough for me to get an entry done. I was thinking that. There will be loads of entries, and having them all put in the normal Pirate forum might get a bit crowded, so maybe a sub-forum would be good. By the way, in the six or less photos we post, are we allowed one that is not of the MOC but of the minifigs in it, or something like that? :skull:
  20. Oooh, very nice! My favourites are Penguin's girls, Ra's, Robins and Roxie Rocket (alliteration)! What's the face of the one in the middle? I recognise it, but I don't know what it is... Also where is that torso from? Is it Speed Racer? Yeeaah, the one on the right, I thought that too! :skull:
  21. Nobody is on the imaginary list anymore. I did like orange as colour of Lego, and it looks OK by itself, but with another colour it can look sort of boring like in Mars Mission. So if the other Power Miners colour turns out to be red I will be OK, but I think it looks orange. :skull:
  22. Oh yeah, I was thinking of character names. And the only person I've heard of with the enitials GB is Gordon Brown, Prime Minister of my country. :skull:
  23. Nope, we won't get fleshie figs in a non-lincensed theme. :skull:
  24. OK, so stash2sixx has PMed you, but I am interested as what you want to use the headgears for. Sounds good whatever it will be. :skull:
  25. I voted the return of Fabuland but I don't actually get what you're talking about... Something about multiple pirate grin emoticons? What? :skull:
