Nope, its available all around the world, I think. I agree that MSN Messenger (or Windows Live nowadays) is better, although I don't have AIM I have seen it. I think it's weird to have an acronym containing an acronym, maybe it should be called AOLIM. :skull:

But it is science fiction... And: Both involve people in mining vehicles Both are mining for crystals Both have strange creatures who want the crystals So, similar, sort of. :skull: -
Power Miners: New Sets for 2009
Shoc replied to cartoondude's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Ohhhh yeah! Thank you, thank you, thank you legomilk for the pictures and information. I wasn't saying much on the sets as I wnated to see better pictures, now I do I really like them! Not so much Technic as they looked, and more interesting looking than Mars Mission! Unfortunately the monsters we still don't have proper photographs of, but they still look cool, definitely like I said - like the Xalax Ramas from the Lego Racers sets and Lego Racers 2. Except addicted to crystals. Yep, what I would say. Strange looking sets, but nice. Also I like bright colours in Lego so I like the green and orange, it works... Power Miners On! :skull: -
Same with me for both things. When I do get the game I'll like to know about the little cheats and that though... Mmm, bonus levels. :skull:
-
Thanks! I wondered if it was in that video, I didn't watch it because vehicle levels in licensed Lego videogames don't interest me... He looks really great! Woo! So we get (at least) two costumes for the Joker, it would seem. :skull:
-
Why? A website selling Lego is obviously aimed at people who want to buy Lego, purists or not. :skull:

I'm reading To Kill A Mockingbird, for English study. I'm only on Chapter 8 at the moment but it's a really great and interesting book! All of the characters are intruiging, especially the hidden Boo Radley... :skull:
-
Yay! Can you post the link to that? I can't seem to find it... :skull:
-
Thank you Andrex for the awesome pics of Hush and the vehicles! Every time we get more new images it just gets more exciting, this is going to be one hell of a brilliant videogame! :skull:

Ahhh, today... I got an X-Ray. Well, 6. 3 for each knee (to diagnose what is up with my achey knees). It was fun. Before that I was really tired, because at the beginning of this day (midnight) I was still on a train coming back from London. I was coming back from London because I had been to Andrew Lloyd Webber's Birthday in the Park, which was great. It was literally a concert celebrating and consisting of his music, with lots of brilliant singers. I am a big fan of musicals, especially Andrew Lloyd Webber's, so naturally I loved it, 'twas the best concert I've ever been to. John Barrowman was a hilarious compare too (he had to repeat himself for the broadcast a few times)! The concert will be broadcast on Friday 10th October on BBC Radio 2 at 7:30pm. I'll definitely be listening again! :skull:

Red Hood's The Joker, before his accident, and then Jason Todd is the other Red Hood. The Mad Monk? Yep, that would be unlikey, but cool... Well, apparently the Penguin's aim in the game is to build a massive penguin army, we'll definitely see them. It probably will be possible to play as a robot penguin, just like the mouse droid in Lego Star Wars II. :skull:

Wow, I didn't realise so many people liked Monk! I do. Also another that has been mentioned, 60's Batman, I like. My other favourites are: Pocoyo (the most awesome animation and characters ever!) Hustle (very clever cons, excited for new series) Goodnight Sweetheart (time travelling comedy - really good) Smallville (unintentionally funny, and set in the DC universe) Neighbours (hilarious soap with bad acting and predictable plots... but I like the Australian accents) Dr Who (can be really silly, but interesting to watch) Torchwood (like Dr Who but not so silly) Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends (nice animation, I don't see it that often but I like it) Pushing Daisies (most recent but really fun!) :skull:

I don't think TLC would ever do it, but those as themes (especially BTTF) would be cool. It would be highly unlikely and better for TLC to do their own themes though. Not where I live. Just about everyone's heard of Back To The Future and Ghostbusters here. :skull:

Wow! Well, you could build with Lego, virtually, but it's just not the same... You mean when you're bald you look like this; , but when you have hair you look like this; ? Heheh... :skull:
-
Would that be older yellow Annie or newer fleshie Annie? :skull:
-
Aha! Umm... James Bond? :skull:
-
Cool! There I recognise Harry Potter, Darth Vader, Gandalf the Grey, Indiana Jones and Han Solo. I don't know the others... :skull:

Nice wordplay. I agree. :skull:

If this has been done before please forgive me. This topic would be kinda like the mutant offspring of the Sigfig topic and the Picture of Yourself topic... I know minifig faces aren't all that realistic, but do you think there is one that looks like you? A lot of people make their sigfigs look like them (not me), so I was wondering if a minifig resembles you. I know for me, when I'm not laughing I look like this guy! When I am laughing I look like The Joker, unfortunately. So, if you think you look like a minifig (or vice versa) please post. :skull:

Wow! Great work, I especially like the fake Batman. Nice backgrounds too. I shall now call you SirLegoArtist, as you are. :skull:
-
It's not being sold because the other stores didn't want it? Obviously they didn't realise how popular it would be. But for TLC to not sell it in the US themselves because other shops didn't wan't it, that's silly... :skull:
-
Actually, for me alone it is possible to make about 15 of you! Aagh! Yeah. I'm not keen on using the normal smileys but the smileys with other features I prefer, they're more unique, and the other faces have evolved from them. :skull:
-
Hahah. Yes, it would definitely need to be moderated if that was possible, I wouldn't want to see the technique manipulated like people have done in Spore. Actually, I think even the first Lego game, 11 year old Lego Island, was like that. I own Lego Racers, from 9 years ago, and that certainly has a lot of non-Legoness, but it's cool nonetheless. It is a shame the virtual Lego world can't be more Legolike, but as you say, it would be hell to make everything like that. According to well known fact, plastic is the basic material from which all Lego pieces are made from. Or do you mean, in the actual Lego Universe the minifigs know this? Either way, on the computer they're not even made of plastic anyway. I agree, I love what has been in other Lego games with their own characters, like Sparky from LR2 and Mr X in Stunt Rally. New concepts would certainly make the game more interesting. Well... Next year there are to be new Indiana Jones sets which are very similar to how they appear in the games, but both are based on the same media anyway. Despite this, the Lego Island Xtreme Stunts theme was based on a game. I don't think we would get sets from an online game though... :skull:

I voted for number 3, it looks really fun. But, uh, how can you have a secret competition? Even though the entrants are secret, it's not so secret if we see the entries... Hehe. :skull:
