Haha, yeah, I remember that (probably because it was concerning my comment and avatar)! :skull:

What about the Native Americans sets? Those were my favourites. Anyway, Fort Legoredo is my favourite out of them, and yes, I do own some (Native Americans) and I would like to see them again. As you can tell, I'm more of a fan of the 'Indians' than the Cowboys. :skull:

Well, it used to be TLC, The Lego Company, but around 2000 they changed it to TLG, The Lego Group. I still prefer to call it TLC, because that also stands for Tender Loving Care, which I think The Lego Group/Company gives us! :skull:

Wow! Those are great, they must have taken a while to think up. I might have to use one or two of those SNOT techniques some time, they're genius! :skull:
-
Yes, I think we already know that now... If you'd read the posts. :skull:

"SMASH THE SPACE POLICE! LIBERATE THE SKIES!!" Ahem, yes, I agree. These great looking aliens are just trying to make a life for themselves, but the comparitively dull Space Police are disrupting their activities! I'm not keen on the design of the police vehicles, but the aliens and their vehicles are great, I have to have some! Me too! I'm English and I think it's a silly descision TLC made... I'm going on two holidays this year, to the Netherlands for a week and Switzerland for two weeks, so I should be able to get some of these sets there! :skull:

Not that weird, it's just not common in your country. I'm sure there are people out there in other countries who think my surname is weird, but not where I live, because mine's a common surname here. :skull:

Thanks for the long and picture-full review! I like Lego Racers, but I'm not keen on this. A Lego car in three parts is a bit of a cop-out! Come on, when I was younger I used to get those Johnny Thunder promo cars which were made of real Lego pieces! Anyway, I do like the chassis, although I'm English so probably wouldn't be able to get one of these. :skull:

My mum got that box from Ikea the other day, I've been sorting my Lego recently and I agree that it's a really good storage solution - I need to get some more! :skull:
-
I've never done it myself, but I've heard maybe varnish/polish works. :skull:
-
Yep, there certainly are, a lot of people use this method of 'waterslide' decals, I find it looks much better anyway. :skull:
-
Not in my house. I have lack of space because Lego takes up most of it! I still don't know how I'm going to sort it either. :skull:
-
Yeah, I thought that was weird. I wouldn't care either way if these sets came out or not, but I think TLC should stick to more of their own themes! I do like Batman, Star Wars, and Indiana Jones, but unless they're replacing some, I don't think they should have too many licensed themes! :skull:

9 moths! That must be a record, I don't think I've ever seen that many moths together before! :skull:
-
I think it was the really bright colours and lots of large pieces that put people off Knight's Kingdom. I liked some of it, but I agree with others that it was the weakest of the Castle themes. :skull:
-
Presumably, I don't know how else they would do it legally! :skull:

Mine was in the Mars Mission 2008 topic, referring to the alien commander: Haha, it never did come in an Impulse set, but I bought one set with the alien commander in not long ago, and it is great, though not as great as the upcoming Space Police aliens look! :skull:
-
Woo, these are reallly nice! If TLC ever made any of these characters, I'm sure they'd look just like yours (Batgirl would of course). My favourites are Supes, Batgirl and the Riddler, but that's probably because I prefer DC to Marvel, and those are some of my favourite DC characters. The others are great too though! :skull:

This news is insane, but also really interesting! Cars as Duplo, I'm not too bothered about that. I didn't like the film but I'm sure they'll sell well. Prince Of Persia I only know a little about, but it is really cool looking and I hope the Lego sets will be too! Toy Story sets I would never have expected! I remember saying myself in another EB topic about them and that they'd never happen. The Toy Story films I do like, so it would be cool to see them as Lego, but toys of toys?! It's just really weird... Hopefully we'll get some great new pieces out of these themes, even if we have to wait a year... P.S. I'm back after not posting here for ages - yay! :skull:

Put down that chainsaw and listen to me!
Shoc replied to ShaddowCroc's topic in Hello! My name is...
Welcome to Eurobricks, ShaddowCroc! That was possibly the greatest introduction I've ever read. Very interesting and humourous... And none of it actually offended me, which is weird. Except maybe one thing - What do you mean by "LEGO crap"? :skull: -
I really don't think Lego toys of other toys would work at all. :skull:
-
Ah, this is nice news, I'm excited for reviews now! It actually looks like an Ewok face. :skull:

Ah, not so. I haven't bought the game yet, so it's good to see a demo has finally arisen. I tried to download it the other day but it got stuck on 75%! Well, I'll have to try again... :skull:

I saw Mirrors at the cinema yesterday. It was suspenseful and creepy, but I laughed more than I got scared. A great movie, with lots of (unintentionally) funny bits, like I thought the closed-down Mayflower department store (the main setting) was very creepy and so were what was in its mirrors. I liked the soundtrack a lot too, I thought I recognised it, then found out it was an existing piece of music, which would be why. :skull:

Partly because of her voice, partly because in her music videos she always looks at the screen and poses a lot. :skull:
