Oo-er! Well, not exact- oops, there I did it again. I actually misread that as 'If you really want me to eat you'. Fancy that, a frozen strawberry eating a person. :skull:

Comissioner James Gordon's adopted daughter. The origin story is she went to the Gotham City Police Department's Masquerade Ball in a 'Batman' costume, and had to help her dad when Killer Moth came and spolit things. :skull:

Shoc replied to I Scream Clone's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Well, I can only really speak for England, but - No SpongeBob (just S@H), Batman only at Legoland and S@H, Avatar non-existent. I hear it is worse in other countries, one was Italy. There's actually a topic about set unavailability. :skull: -
Wow, Alfred is the simplest of them all. Put simply, Oracle is Barbara Gordon, who was Batgirl until she got shot by the Joker and became a paraplegic. She appears as Oracle in Batman and related comics Birds Of Prey, where she helps her fellow superheroes using her knowledge and computers. :skull:

Thanks for the good comments again. I admit I haven't read any Superman comics and do watch Smallville often, but those figures are based on the comics, even though so are Smallville's characters. Yes, I didn't think of that. Could someone move this topic there? Alas, I don't think I have that torso. I used the most obscure torso design for Clarky, I should find a better one. What sets has that one been in? Looks like Spiderman or Harry Potter... Yes, you can't see much of the wheelchair, it's small (9 pieces), but I made it in about a minute - I just found some bits and put them together, it really worked. Barbara might get sore feet though, they're resting on the front wheels. :skull:
-
Hmm, I wonder why you'd want to know that... No offense, Pencoin. :skull:
-
Oh, I see. I don't have the set and haven't really looked at the figure properly again, so I didn't notice. :skull:
-
Yeah. Also I just looked in the catalogue, and I don't see that Obi Wan has the wrong hair... What do you mean by this? :skull:
-
It's not meant to be a complete picture. I noticed that though and thought they could have put the whole thing, but it's not really an error. On the front cover, Ahsoka's headpiece is slightly wonky, or rather, her head is turned a bit so it looks like that. That irked me a little, haha. :skull:

Antarctica? Umm, anyway, I haven't bought any Lego recently, the last set I bought was on my last day in Switzerland, at the end of August. That was the Bellville set with the useful dogs. I was going to go to Legoland Windsor today, but actually I'm now going tomorrow. I will definitely get Lego there. Probably Exo-Force and Batman. :skull:

Welcome to Eurobricks, Cousuturah! I'm liking your very odd avatar. Correction: The best website on Earth. :skull:

Thanks. I don't like that photo much but she does look better in the ABS. Batgirl usually just has a yellow bat as her insigna. My Lego Batgirl has a black bat on a golden/yellow oval, like Batman. :skull:

Why, thank you. I actually think he's quite a likeness to Dean Cain's TV Clark from The New Adventures of Superman. Notice the black eyebrows. :skull:

I share your feelings. It is good that America can now get this brilliant Advent Calendar, but sad that we don't get a lot of sets in Europe, despite complaining, because TLC can't be bothered to release them here. What I don't get is that Lego is European, so if they're going to sell to the other continents, they shouldn't leave Europe out! Anyway, enjoy the new availability of the awesome Castle Advent Calendars! :skull: -
A lot of discussion in this topic now seems to be about playing the actual game (for Americans anyway), but I was wondering, that Youtube video that was posted maybe a few pages back was of the demo, right? It might not have been, but I can't seem to find a demo, and I was wondering why there isn't one available yet even though the game is already out in the US... Thanks if anyone can tell me about the demo. If there is no demo, I guess I'll just have to wait another 13 days until the game comes out over here. :skull:

Thanks. Well, his hair is a bit longer when he's older (at times), maybe the hair I used was a bit too wild, but it does go with the hair TLC used for Nightwing. :skull:

Hi. I've made a few custom DC minifigures in July, August, and this month, and I thought I'd share pictures of them on Eurobricks for everyone to see. Some of them are just plain minifigs, but others you will see I have used marker pens and nail clippers to customise them. First up is: Superman Clark Kent (with a weird torso), and Jimmy Olsen. Clark Kent in better clothing, with Jimmy Olsen. Lex Luthor looking suitably evil, and Lois Lane. Sorry for the blurriness. Aquaman Only one figure here, kind of blurry though. I thought the scales and muscles I did were a bit thick, but maybe not. Batman Younger versions of Alfred Pennyworth, Bruce Wayne and James Gordon (in a different colour than usual). Sorry about the shine. Barbara Gordon, as Batgirl with inverted insigna (bad photo, cowl and eyes look better in reality) and Dick Grayson when he was Robin, but as himself. These are probably my favourites. An older Barbara Gordon as Oracle, and an older Dick Grayson (maybe too much hair). A fuzzy group shot of my updated Batgirl (bad photo once again but the goldy bits are now yellow), Batman (normal but yellow face), and Robin (yellow with short sleeves). My modified Two-Face (and henchmen), whose scarring and black side of suit goes all the way around instead of just in parts. Light side. Dark side. (You can easily see where I have added more burn but that was the lighting, it actually blends better than it looks. My custom Black Mask, using Lucius Malfoy's Detah Eater head from Graveyard Duel, but with more black and some lines covered. Photo doesn't show the face very well. Closer up to Black Mask's face. On one side, too much shine, on the other, too much shadow. The facial features look good in real life but aren't so obvious in this picture... Custom Poison Ivy, not like the official one but looking kinda like an Islander, in suitable attire nonetheless. I hope you like them. Sorry about the shadow and blur and all those other camera difficulties, those were the best pictures I got of them. It really annoys me that the camera can never get the photos just right. :skull:

That's a pretty cool video, funny too. Interesting though, I didn't know there were any English set designers, I thought most of them were Danish... Same here... And the power functions stuff as well... Hmm, I haven't bought a Mars Mission set this year actually! I might go to Legoland tomorrow, so maybe I'll get that. :skull:

A brand of marker pen, apparently permanent but no permanent pens stay on minfig heads without using a sealer, I would say. I haven't got around to finding sealer stuff yet. Sorry, I can't help you with this. We get Sharpies in England, but yellow ones (here) are hard to come by. I have one now. :skull:

Ooh, that's very similar to something I made, except mine didn't have three mouths. It is a nice creation anyway, but I too am confused at the multiple mouth... :skull:
-
Wooow, that's very big! Very nice constructions in there too! So much detail and accessories, I really like it! How long is it taking you to build? :skull:
-
Whoah, that's a really badly written article! Besides that, it's a massive collection - I have a lot of Lego and it ends up in different parts of the house - but not that much! Hmm, someone might know him seeing as he is a member of the Brickish Association, and... :skull:

Welcome to Eurobricks, Star-Sam! Have you seen these two Star Wars Fabuland creations on Eurobricks? They'll interest you. :skull:

Nice little church! The slopes are a bit inconsistent, or mayeb I'm just being picky. No, I like it, better than my attempt at a Lego church. You are allowed to mention just about anything on Eurobricks, why did you remove mention of Harry Potter? :skull:

Yeah, I've studied lots of books in my education, only abour a couple have been really boring, but To Kill A Mockingbird is definitely my favourite to read and study. We still have a lot more to go on it, only on Chapter 9, and I have to write all about Boo Radley and Atticus Finch at some point... Again. Also I am reading Dragon Ball Z, one of my favourite book series' (even though it's a comic). I'm reading from the English translated books, on the 11th now I think. It's very exciting - Goku has just become a Super Saiyan and everyone is confused. As well as Dragon Ball Z, I am reading the original Dragon Ball books again, because I last read them years ago, heheh. :skull:
