Very great job on this build. Certainly the mechanicals are just as they should be, but I'm most impressed with the patience it must have taken to get all the bodywork details just right. I love the grill, and the details on the wheels are such a great idea. Well done.

You know, I didn't even consider that as an option while building. I guess it was on my mind today, as I started another car. I can't fit a 3x7 on the hood without making it taller, but I agree a little more filling out of the hood would have been a good idea. Thanks for the confirmation of the above too. I'll see if it fits better with the next car.

It is a funny name... But nope. Just another tractor.

As May comes to an end, I should be doing some school work. Add to the fact that my building has been a little stagnate, I thought participating in a TC challenge seemed like a good idea to distract and get creative. I went through my Pinterest folders, and found a little tractor that checked all the boxes for me and fit the requirements of the contest: Tracks? Check. Tractor? Check. Some fun functions? Check. The ability to add way to many interchangeable attachments? Check. Unimog? We'll let that slide this time... The Prinoth T-Rex 300mt seemed like a perfect fit. Also, this one tractor is a little new to me, so the challenge sounded a little fun and would allow me to explore a machine that I know little about. Plus the idea of having a feller head, a mulcher head, and a grapple bucket all sounds kindof fun. The black seems to be a little plain, but maybe I can come up with another color or something. Anyway, starting with the tracks always takes more time than it should. There is always a little more slack than I would like, and the tracks are never the perfect shape. So after a couple of tries, I came up with the following setup. Then after about 6 more tries, I was able to find a carrier that was strong enough to would work for the project. I made three more for the chassis, then threw a first draft together to check the size and scale to start drafting the mechanical placements. The next step for me is to design the quick change head. I have some ideas, but nothing in place yet. Once that is done, I'll work on the lift and tilt mechanisms. Then I'll work on the controls (everything will be manual, naturally). Then the engine and rear winch. Finally, I'll work on the body work. We'll see how this goes...

Last summer I needed to do a small build to jump start some creativity again, and the tractor was the result. The micro scale was just to quickly get a little build together. Then the theme expanded into some other builds. I didn't build them to scale, but I suspect they are about 1:35ish scale.

Alright, I added another little attachment to the Blizzard Blazer tractor. This time a working hay baler. It features: Working hay pickup Opening rear hopper Bale ejector You may find free instructions for the Baler at Rebrickable.com. It matches with the Mini Combine. I had a lot of fun making the bale ejector. And a little video to show how it all works together. Enjoy!

I'm intrigued by this set. I'm getting a little tired of all the cars, but I like the tires, the mudguards, the engine, and the suspension. The boxy body works a little more cohesively than some of the swoopy sports cars too.

Yeah, I kind of ignore that one as I don't have it. But you are right, it is right in between those others in terms of size.

I wonder how they are going to fit two universal joints (or something else) in the front suspension axles?

I'm fairly pleased with this one. Any set that I have to figure out what is going on with all the gears is a good sign for me. Plus, I feel like I need to purchase this to send TLG a message that construction vehicles still have a place in the Sub ~$400 Technic market. Also, I'm happy to finally have a bucket sized between 28216/2951 and 32030.

Hah! I'm not as hard on 42203 as others, and yet, it needed some improvements. Also, I'm always looking for an excuse to make a Garbage Truck.

Alright, it's time for another update to 42203 with a little Garbage Truck version. As was pointed out by someone on Rebrickable, I may have moved passed this being a modification, and it's just a new MOC. But either way, the MOC is heavily influenced by 42203, so I'll let it slide. Instructions are available at Rebrickable.com. I started with the Upgraded Chassis (see above) for this MOC, and then added a Garbage Collection Box to the rear of the truck. As such, the truck features: Steering with HOG Opening doors Tipping cab I4 engine with RWD Tipping rear garbage box. Opening rear compactor Working rear compactor cycle Bin tipper/dumping And a little video to show the functions. Enjoy!

Great job again. I'm a big fan of LMP cars, and this Oreca looks fantastic. I like the openings you were able to recreate on the front fenders. Also the sidepod shaping - so difficult to get just right - is perfect.
